Drug Recovery Self Help – Break Your Drug Ties Using Subliminal Videos

Drug recovery can be difficult to handle on your own, so experts recommend that you seek help if you want to break free of your drug problems. Unfortunately, it is difficult for most people to seek help about drugs. Fortunately, many experts have realized this and have focused on providing self-help drug recovery techniques for those who want to make a positive change in their lives.

Unfortunately, if you choose the wrong technique, you are likely to run into potholes and many traps waiting for you on the way.

Any drug addicted individual can tell you how strong the urge to use drugs is once you get hooked. Even when their conscious minds tell them to stop, they still have to fight impulses and inner urges, which can be very difficult to control because they think they come from their natural personality.

1. Set realistic goals. To fully recover from drug use, you must treat your daily life as an ongoing project. Set goals that are realistic and easy to achieve on a day-to-day basis. Take the process one day at a time. Just think of it this way: your main goal is to last through the day without giving in to your drug urges. If you meet that goal daily, then you’ll be counting your days sober. After a while, you can set weekly goals, and then monthly goals. Even if the process sounds too long, at least you are slowly but surely free of the drugs.

2. Mental detox. Detoxification is part of any drug rehab program. But in addition to the physical detox, you should also do a mental detox. You also have to detoxify the brain, since drug addiction is also a mental dependency. Many believe that drug dependence only becomes a medical problem when it begins to cause health problems. But, at its core, drug addiction is a behavioral problem.

Therefore, the only way to get drugs out of your system is to detoxify, not only physically, but also to remove them from your natural behavior. The brain stores habits at the subconscious level; these habits therefore tend to override the decisions of the conscious mind and influence your actions and behaviors from deep within. This is where your drug urges come from.

To do a mental detox, a subliminal drug recovery self help video can work wonders. Subliminal videos communicate directly with the subconscious level. So if you can plant positive messages in your subconscious, they will show through your behavior. For example, if you replace your thoughts of drug dependence with thoughts of strength, freedom, and independence from drugs, they will make you act like an individual without ties to drugs.

3. Welcome change. Now, once you have detoxed, prepare yourself for several changes that will occur in your life. Since watching subliminal videos is so easy, the challenge is to face all the changes without going back to your old drug-dependent way of thinking. Sometimes the overwhelming threat of many changes can cause any recovering drug addict to recoil out of fear and apprehension of change. So be sure to expect a lot of changes. Since addiction also affects most aspects of life, including your career, health, relationships, etc., you must be prepared to pick up the messy pieces of your life and start anew.

Truck Insurance Strategies: Choosing Between Mileage-Based and Gross Receipt-Based Premiums

Most of the larger trucking companies purchase their liability and cargo truck insurance based on mileage or gross receipts. The insurance company sets rates based on expected mileage or income for the policy year. Typically, each month, the insurance company requires the insured to report actual mileage or income, multiply that amount by the agreed rate, enclose a check, and mail it to the appropriate party. Then, during the year-end audit of the policy, the insurance company uses the actual mileage and revenue from the trucking company to “adjust” the truck insurance premium payments.

An overview of mileage and gross receipts options

If the trucking company chooses to pay truck insurance premiums based on mileage, then the insurance company sets a rate based on the miles the trucking company expects to generate during the year.

If the trucking company pays premiums based on gross receipts (or revenue), then the insurance company sets a rate based on the gross receipts the trucking company expects the truck to generate during the year.

An example

For example, if a truck averages $1.50 per mile and you expect to drive 120,000 miles per year, that truck’s annual gross receipts would be $180,000. Suppose a truck insurance company offers to insure that truck for $4,500 per year. .

  • If truck insurance were based on mileage, premiums would be calculated at $3.75 per 100 miles. (120,000 / 100 = 1,200 X $3.75 = $4,500)
  • If truck insurance were placed on a gross receipts basis, the rate would be $2.50 per $100 of gross receipts. ($180,000 / 100 = $1800 X $2.50 = $4,500)

The trucking company could end up paying about $4,500 in trucking insurance premiums, depending on actual mileage and gross receipts determined by the policy year-end audit.

Keep in mind that we chose the 120,000 miles per year, the $1.50 per mile, and the $4,500 per year per truck simply because they are easy numbers to handle. That in no way indicates that those are “average” numbers. And again for simplicity, our example is for a truck. I don’t know of any insurance company that will write a policy based on mileage or income for a truck. We’re just trying to keep it simple.

How Shipping Rate Increases May Affect Your Gross Receipt-Based Truck Insurance Premiums

If your trucking company is insured on a gross receipts basis and you are lucky enough to get a rate increase with a carrier, you must share that increase with the insurance company. This is why.

Take the example above. Suppose the truck is assigned to a route that pays it $1.50 per mile both ways, and those trips generate 120,000 miles. That would be $180,000 per year. As the example above shows, your truck insurance premium would be set at $4,500.

But what if you could suddenly get an increase of $1.80 per mile both ways? This increases the revenue from that truck to $216,000, a 20% increase in revenue. And that means your insurance premium increased by the same percentage. Instead of $4,500 a year for that truck, you now have to pay $5,400.

However, if you had been insured for mileage, your insurance premium would have stayed the same. Your miles stayed the same 120,000. The number of miles did not increase. Just the amount of income.

One Final Tip About Fuel Surcharges

Most truck insurance policies include a fuel surcharge as part of a business’s “gross receipts.” However, some insurance companies will waive fuel surcharges if agreed in advance. You must ensure that it is expressly understood in writing how your insurance company will view the fuel surcharge. Don’t wait until the end-of-year policy audits to find out. Note: Fuel surcharge is not an issue with mileage-based policies.

Conclusion

Before you commit to a truck insurance premium calculation based on mileage or gross receipts, make sure you’ve done the math and considered all options. A good, competent trucking insurance agent will explain them to you and make sure you make the right decision for your trucking operation.

Kitchen towel rails: an inexpensive way to style your kitchen

Kitchen towel rails are a great and inexpensive way to introduce a bit of character and style to your kitchen.

For starters, these units are often out in the open and are one of the most common items in your kitchen, whether they’re mounted to a wall or simply resting on a counter. As such, kitchen towel rails can play a huge role in helping set the theme of your kitchen.

Styles and materials of kitchen towel rails

These units come in a variety of different styles that are made from countless types of materials. One particular model that is very popular today is the four-arm wall unit in oak with a dark finish or in cherry wood. One of the reasons why this model is popular, apart from its unique contemporary look, is the fact that it also serves an important function. Because the arms are maneuverable, they allow the owner to rest easily and separate wet or damp towels from dry towels.

Materials

Kitchen towel rails come in a variety of materials. The cheaper models are obviously made of a simple plastic, usually white or black. While some of the higher end models consist of stainless steel or a heavy wood material.

styles

Depending on the type of material you require for your kitchen theme, there are a variety of unique styles for these materials. As mentioned above, the four-arm wall-mounted model is very popular right now. However, another extremely popular model is a fixed 3-arm unit that mounts on rollers, giving it the ability to slide in and out of an opening. This model not only looks stylish, but also gives the owner the opportunity to hide the unit as he sees fit.

Altogether, kitchen towel rails provide an inexpensive and easy way to boost the style of your kitchen. Unfortunately, these accessories are dwarfed by the most important appliances and cabinets; however, they provide important functionality as well as a variety of options to belong to each and every style.

travel to japan

Japan is a wonderful mix of ancient history and the latest in high-tech innovation. Beautiful ancient temples sit near modern skyscrapers and dizzying lights. Meticulously manicured gardens, high-speed trains, mountains, and a sometimes quirky culture create a fascinating society that has evolved over thousands of years. Visitors to Japan will never want something new or interesting to explore.

Transport

Most visitors will arrive at one of Japan’s two international airports, Narita Airport in Tokyo and Kansai Airport in Osaka. From there it is possible to take national flights to other regions or travel by train, car rental or coach. Japan’s train network is excellent and reliable, making it one of the best ways to travel across the country. It is home to the world’s first high-speed train, the bullet train. There is a special Japan Rail Tourist Pass that allows you unlimited rail travel for up to three weeks at excellent value for money. It is important to note that the pass must be purchased in advance before arriving in Japan and there are some restrictions, but not many. The cheapest way to travel is by coach, known as the kosoku bus.

Climate

Japan has different seasons, so it is ideal to visit at any time of the year. Spring in Japan is famous for the beautiful cherry blossoms. Summer can be very hot and humid, but the mountains provide fantastic escapes and it’s the time of year when many festivals take place. Autumn brings the fiery glow of foliage. In winter, the mountains and northern Japan offer good skiing spots. The southern and Pacific coast is more temperate than other parts of the country. This time of year is a great time to experience Japan’s hot springs, many of the best of which can be found in Tohoku, the northernmost region of the main island.

Accommodation

Japan has many accommodation options available in both Western and Japanese styles to suit various budgets. For a truly Japanese experience, try to spend at least one night in a Ryokan. These Japanese inns almost always include breakfast and dinner. Bed and breakfasts are another great way to experience the Japanese way of life. Western-style hotels are common with many household names across the country. Budget travelers will find hundreds of hostels to suit their needs. One of the more unique options is to stay in a Japanese temple and participate in Buddhist morning prayers.

Main attractions

Japan has enough attractions to fill many guidebooks. It has forests, gardens, hot springs, mountains, sea, museums, sanctuaries, temples and much more. Temples are found in all regions of Japan and are fine examples of traditional architecture. Some temples still function as Buddhist monasteries and house sacred shrines. Some of the most beautiful temples are Takkoku no Iwaya, Motsuji Temple, Yamadera, Sensoji Temple, Kokedera, and Ankokuronji Temple. Marine life lovers and families alike will enjoy Japan’s amazing aquariums such as Aquamarine Fukushima and Churaumi Aquarium, arguably the more spectacular of Japan’s two aquariums.

Although Japan is known for its mega and ultra-modern cities, it is also rich in nature to explore. Cherry blossoms are one of the country’s biggest attractions and one of its most celebrated plants. The best time of the year to see them is early April. Popular viewing spots are Chidorigafuchi in Tokyo’s Kitanomaru Park, Sankeien Garden, Chureito Pagoda, and Hikone Castle. There are several national parks where visitors can experience spectacular scenery and hiking trails. One of the best places to see the fall colors is Daisetsuzen National Park. If you are looking for hot springs, head to Towada Hachimantai National Park.

Relationship

Feeding a Dead Horse (The Case of Dana Stanley, Shannon O’Day’s Goddaughter)

State of Minnesota, Appellant v. Edward Morrill, defendant filed September 29, 1958; Affirmed Finley, Judge; Dakota County District Courthouse

FACTS

Country Attorney: Steve Ramsey (speaks in court):

Dana Stanley, born September 27, 1942, met Edward Morrill, born August 28, 1930, while working as a paraprofessional in the Dakota County school system. Dana was a student in high school. At some point during the 1958 school year, Edward Morrill had consensual sex with Dana Stanley, who was sixteen at the time, and Edward, about ten years her senior. He had met her in one of her classes, and from then on, the relationship gradually became sexual. Edward fell in love with Dana, and she wrote him several love letters, expressing her desire to marry him when she came of age.

Mr Morrill realized the relationship was inappropriate, he says, and told the school’s headmaster, William Ingway. And according to Ingway, Mr. Morrill was very sorry and felt that he had made a mistake, and he wanted to come clean, get it out of his mind, out of his chest, get it over with so he could go on living, and by doing this, he was able to get Mr. light exactly what the situation was. Like the following statement given to state investigators thereafter, Sheriff Fauna was present and said the following:

“He told us that he had fallen in love with Dana and I believe it, he also said that it was his first love, which I think is a lot of rot, although it could have been his first love. I do see it as sexual.” Predator of some sort, though at first Mr. Ingway doesn’t see it that way, but then you have to consider the school’s reputation of him, don’t you? I don’t think there’s any kind of pattern to his predator. way of life, maybe it’s what he sees, and what he likes that he pursues, but I’m not a psychologist. a few times, and Mr. Morrill has always given him the evil eye, he said. It’s about as clear to me as trying to feed a dead horse, he got involved with a student and this kind of behavior can’t be allowed because he says after the fact ‘I’m sorry’, forgiveness doesn’t do any good. to prison, I will accept forgiveness from him, and also his godfather, and also the mother and father, who seems a little more passive on this issue.

(Steve Ramsey speaks to Judge Finley and those in the courtroom:) His Honor, Shannon O’Day, the best man, also provided the following statement to state investigators:

“In my opinion, I would agree with Sheriff Fauna, I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Morrill last summer, actually during his summer job, helping the teachers in summer school, those kids who are too lazy to work during normal school year have to go to silly school to catch up.

I was working on my brother’s farm, he died last year, and his wife needed me to do manual work, she hired me for a while, I got him in his spare time to work, and I met him. probably on a little better footing and uh i see it as a problem and he should cut off his dick you horrible son of a bitch. You should hang him, not put him in jail, he’ll just do it over and over again.”

(County Attorney Steven Ramsey) From the documents submitted, specifically the letters from the County Sheriff and Mr. Shannon O’Day, and the statements from Principal Ingway, I have aggressively pursued this relationship between Morrill and Dana Stanley, relationship revealed because maybe it never would have been, if Mr. Morrill had never brought it to the attention of the school principal, and now that he’s stopped initiating contact with Dana, and he’s willingly submitted to and paid for a psych evaluation, maybe his social immaturity and underdeveloped social skills, he may readjust during some kind of treatment that he says he doesn’t mind attending, if he doesn’t go to jail, which I recommend he do.

The morning trial took a recess; and Mr. Morrill’s attorney delivered an affidavit signed by Mr. and Mrs. Stanley, saying in essence to the state and district court, and delivered to Judge Finley:

“…Morrill and Dana understand that they had a consensual sexual relationship that occurred as a result of their affection for each other, we understand this, and a lengthy trial would not be in my daughter’s best interest, nor would I allow the Mr. Morrill walks completely free, even if he pleads guilty to the charge or not, and we understand that he has pleaded guilty on the basis of a stay of adjudication, and I understand that that means there is no prison time to resolve the matter. is for the court to order a stay of adjudication. It’s what our daughter wants too, even though we know her sponsor is against it, but that’s her nature. So there’s no reason for us to see the state not should agree to allow our request.”

(Narrator) The state said it would review and consider suspending the imposition. The district court told Morrill that he could not promise anything, only indicated a strong will. And so, Morrill decided to plead guilty to the charge cited in the complaint. During Morrill’s state cross-examination and opposition to the stay of adjudication, the final decision on sentencing would be “in the hands of the judge.”

(Narrator) At the sentencing hearing, the district court found that there were “special circumstances” (and the judge had considered, behind closed doors before speaking with Shannon O’Day, allowing Morrill to be jailed for 120 days, and 600 days). community service hours and five years probation, only to restrict him from having any unsupervised contact with minors, but Shannon O’Day’s friend, Otis Wilder Mather, who still had frozen, if not hidden, anger at the state of Minnesota and its system of unusual laws, gave, free of charge, $5000 dollars to bribe Judge Finley, to carry out the worst punishment he could on the offender).

Judge Finley’s Decision:

“The state challenges the district court’s finding that this case presents special circumstances in which a stay of adjudication is not warranted. In general, the prosecution function is within the broad discretion of the prosecutor, which should not be subject to interference by the district court. However, a district court may stay adjudication over the prosecutor’s objection, if the case exhibits “special circumstances.” In the present case, the district court found no prior or identical “special circumstances” to permit this. And I see that the state had not reached any plea agreement worthy of the crime. Therefore, upon the objects of those concerned for such a decision, as the case warrants, which is a sentence of not less than five years in the state penitentiary, at Stillwater, Minnesota.”

Offender’s attorney: “But your honor, Mr. Morrill has no history of aggression, and his part of the relationship with Dana Stanley was consensual and they both appear to want to marry, and the mother’s statement.”

The Judge: “In this case, as you bring it up again, Mr. Morrill is further ordered to pay $500 in legal fees to the public defender’s amusement, and if you question my decision, I will fine you. And the the more you talk, the more you dig a hole for your client, this is a serious violation of moral conduct, it happens right in a school system. And for your understanding, he now has a criminal record. I do not, nor the public support this characterization. Affirmed”.

Legal Law

Tax planning: details you should know before choosing a lawyer

Taxes on individuals and businesses at the local, state, and federal levels are governed by certain rules and regulations. An understanding of these legal details is necessary for proper tax planning. You need to be familiar with current tax laws to understand the categories of expenses that are tax deductible, manage the tax implications, and other similar details.

You need the help of experts to carry out this task. The right tax attorney would know which approach would work for your case. The main objective is to alleviate the tax burden of the entity.

The application of the laws on the income generated in a certain tax period is what fiscal planning pursues. If you are an individual, this income may come from wages and salaries, interest earned from bank accounts, investment earnings, and others. In case it is a business, the income can come from stocks and bonds, profit from sales, etc.

The reduction in the amount of taxable income for the moment also helps to make the proper planning of the tax payment. You should also have a good idea about tax breaks to handle this. It is necessary to have adequate knowledge about deductions and the correct way to claim it, in the right circumstances, when you file your tax return.

It is not easy to take care of all this on your own. You should opt for a reputable Hampton tax planning law firm to handle your case. They would be able to approach planning with their knowledge and experience.

Tax planning lawyers are proficient in current laws. They could help you manage your taxes and make sure you don’t face any legal issues regarding taxes. They are also capable of preparing the paperwork involved in the matter.

Common methods used to plan your taxes are as follows:

Decrease in gross income – A decrease in adjusted gross income for a certain period of time proves to be beneficial to the entity. Exemptions and bonuses play an important role in this approach.

Increase in tax deductions – The application of these deductions on expenses helps in this matter. Your tax planning lawyer knows how current laws could improve the scope of use of this particular method.

Using Tax Credits: Credits related to earned income, child adoption, or retirement savings plans could be used for effective solutions.

It is essential that you base your selection of tax attorney on a few key factors. Proper knowledge is a must in such a case. Opt for individual lawyers or law firms that have been working in this field for quite some time. Choose lawyers with the right specialization; a real estate attorney will not be right for the job, you need one who understands taxes and tax administration.

18 easy steps to buy a house at a bargain price

What is a “distressed” property? What is “bargain” real estate?

A distressed property is one with a distressed seller. Job loss or transfer, divorce, death, pending foreclosure, and lack of money cause sellers to sell quickly for less. Discovering the seller’s problem and finding a solution is the key to buying a bargain property. A distressed property can also be a “doghouse,” a landfill, or a repairman. “Dog kennel” owners aren’t always angsty sellers.

18 easy steps to buy a house at a bargain price

1. Get good advice from successful investors. Ask your friends and real estate agents to recommend investors.

2. Create your personal “Investment Journal,” such as the Doghouse to Dollars Workbook: Turn Yucks Into Bucks Investor’s Guide.

3. Define investment objectives: Do you want to buy a house to live in, repair it and sell it or save it for your future?

4. Get credit reports and scores. Create a file for each credit reporting agency. Take care of any credit issues.

5. Read books and articles on real estate investing. Attend workshops and seminars. Avoid outdated infomercials on TV.

6. Get good advice from lenders. Choose a lender with great service, a good closing record, and fair costs. Arrange financing.

7. Define your target locations: Is the property you want close to your home or work, vacation or second home?

8. Know your target market. Study the sections of real estate newspapers. Collect houses for sale flyers. Look at the sales and write down the prices, amenities and conditions. Follow HUD sales in your area.

9. Interview real estate agents and learn from them. Do not sign any agreements with agents that limit your search for sale properties. (These contracts make you pay a commission to the agent even if you buy by owner.)

10. Use agents who know the customs of the local market and ensure that you get many offers.

11. Find a good escrow officer to buy “for sale by owners.”

12. Study home remodeling, design magazines, and books. Know the costs of materials, supplies and trades. Visit home improvement stores. Take into account the costs of construction materials.

13. Be prepared to know a sale when you see it.

14. Make lots of offers. Make an offer on the rest of HUD.

15. Buy only bargain properties. Get great terms or concessions from the seller.

16. Plan your home transformation during escrow. This speeds up your working time, saving you money on maintenance costs.

17. Oversee the closing of the real estate escrow. Don’t jeopardize your finances by charging credit cards or making unnecessary purchases.

18. Celebrate the purchase of your “doghouse” with an open house!

Trophy: The Origin and Evolution

The English word trophy is derived from the French word “trophee” and the Greek word “tropaion”. The Greek word “tropaion” means to defeat and the French word “trophee” essentially means spoils of war.

For the Greeks, the trophies started from the battlefield. The victorious team made a kind of warrior figure with the arms and banners of the defeated team. This figure was hung from a tree and stories of battles were inscribed and dedicated to god and then destroyed as a sacrilege. The Romans built extravagant trophies consisting of columns and arches on a base.

The Olympic Games, today, use medals to commemorate the winners. In ancient Greece, Olympic winners were congratulated with a laurel wreath and not awarded trophies.

Originally a trophy was shaped like a chalice and was made with a wooden base, a wooden column and a metal figure. But with the passage of time the trends changed and the wood was replaced by marble and the figures are made of plastic and painted in the desired color.

The shapes and sizes of a trophy have also evolved over time. The goblet is still used in various prominent sporting events such as the Davis Cup and Stanley Cup, but there are other interesting figurines being used as a stylized human for the academy awards or the Oscars and the use of a spaceship for the Hugo awards for science.

The current FIFA world cup trophy is designed by Silvio Gazzaniga and has been in service since 1974. The award depicts two human figures holding the Earth. The current trophy weighs 5 kilos and is 36.5 centimeters high. Both the Wimbledon and FIFA World Cup trophy cannot be won directly, tournament winners get a replica of the trophy.

No matter what the game is, the trophy is what makes the games exciting!
