Meaning of love: an elusive enigma

“It is better to have loved and lost

than never to have loved at all.”

– Poem In Memoriam by Alfred Lord Tennyson: 27, 1850

People, through the centuries, have wondered aloud, and in another way, their thoughts on the four-letter word that encapsulates a storm in a cup of tea. They have boasted of theories and jumped to conclusions. They have dug up the roots of the human body and mind to find satisfying answers. They have conducted experiments, organized debates, shared opinions, studied behavioral pie charts, and tried in every possible way to describe the feeling of love. Yet the same people are stunned when faced with the same situation in their own lives. So, what is love?

The definition of love is like a secluded island, deep in the heart of the sea. Anyone trying to get there can only get close but can’t touch down. Similarly, you can only ‘try’ to define love; its definition may be correct up to a point, but it can never hit the mark. The reason is not your incompetence; it’s just that the definition is in the perception of the person trying to define it and perceptions vary. So instead of trying to do the impossible, let’s dwell on the taste of love and forget the recipe behind it!

Love is a word that captures the essence of both the deep and the profane. Love songs and ballads seem melodious to the person who has not been in a man-woman relationship as well. In fact, to limit the facets of love to the confines of the words ‘I love you’ is to close off your aura to a great extent. You cannot determine which form of love is pure: son-mother, man-woman, brother-sister, devotee of God.

You know you are in love when you feel that another person’s influence is more imposing on your thought process than your own ideas and opinions. You begin to think in terms of the person you are in love with. You want to make yourself worthy of that person, always placing them on the highest pedestal. You always have doubts about what you should do to make him happy and what you should not do. You are willing to take the pain and blame yourself instead of letting your loved one frown in worry. You feel that the whole world is against you and that no one is your friend. You live in a world of your own where entry is restricted only to people who understand the value of that world.

“Who wants a cynic who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing?” asked Oscar Wilde. The meaning of love cannot be explained to the cynics; if you have it in you, you get the meaning without a word being spoken. If you don’t feel the heat melting your heart, no one will be able to pierce it into the cold interiors of your soul. Love is what makes two people sit together on a bench, when there is plenty of room on either side. Love is when you go your separate ways, not saying a word the whole time, and still feel like you’ve had the best conversation of your life. Love is also like the sand that slips through your fingers the more you try to hold it tighter. So express your love to your loved ones with free love greetings and love cards now. Tomorrow may not come with the same lucky streak!

The Agile Entrepreneur

Individual entrepreneurs with agile professional skills bring urgently needed expertise to the organizations they work with, often limited to a specific task and for a predetermined period of time. Agile Solopreneurs bring great perspective, increased productivity, and relevant experience to countless mission-critical projects.

Agile innovation first spread across the information technology industry and dramatically increased success rates in software development, improving product quality and speed to market. Agile management techniques are spreading to other industries and Solopreneur consultants need to be aware of what is involved, both in terms of ways your current and potential clients can purchase agile practices and how you can incorporate certain agile methods in your consultancy.

More than in the past, business enterprises now exist in very dynamic conditions. Customer priorities and technological advances are known to change rapidly. Keeping abreast of new developments and innovating or adapting, as necessary, the company’s products and services in response is essential. Marketing strategies, advertising buzzwords, and sales strategies operate in short-term cycles that fit within the parameters of social media platforms. This fast-moving environment demands the management of leaders who master agile skills. But what does agile mean in practice?

Agile does not mean doing the usual, but faster. Darrell Rigby, partner at consulting firm Bain & Company, and Hirotaka Takeuchi, professor of strategy at Harvard Business School and CEO of Scrum, Inc., a training and consulting firm, describe agile business practices as containing the following elements:

  • Scrum: Creative and adaptive teamwork that solves complex problems.
  • Lean development: Which focuses on continuous waste removal.
  • kan-ban: That focuses on reducing lead times and the amount of time it takes to complete a process.

Agile management practices are particularly well suited to strategic planning activities, marketing campaigns, resource allocation decisions, and supply chain challenges. Agile works best when complex problems can be broken down into modules and assigned to specific teams. Examples of ideal conditions in which to apply innovation or agile methods include:

  • When solutions to an obstacle or challenge are unknown
  • When the specifications of a product under development may be subject to change
  • When the scope of work to be done on a project is not precisely known
  • When cross-functional collaboration is supposed to be vital and time to market is sensitive

To expand (or at least maintain) billable hours, Solopreneurs should acquire agile skills (books, blogs, and certifications are available) and promote their competency by selling intangible B2B services to prospects. Decision makers in organizations facing a mission-critical project, challenge, or opportunity can feel more confident hiring a Solopreneur who can bring agile methods and problem-solving approaches to the table.

Solopreneur external consultants must always present ourselves as reliable, trustworthy, capable and able to meet or exceed client expectations through the cutting edge skills we possess. In this way, we make hiring managers and project sponsors feel that they will appear trustworthy and capable to their peers and superiors when they bring us on board. In this way we can build and sustain a viable consultancy.

The 4 best content marketing strategies for real estate wholesalers

What are the best content marketing strategies for those wholesale properties?

There are many wholesale marketing channels for real estate investors today. Many work, but content marketing is becoming increasingly important and valuable in selling wholesale homes and generating real estate leads.

Many real estate investment companies that are renovating homes are getting great results from direct mail, email marketing, cold calling, PPC advertising through Google AdWords, Craigslist ads, and various guerrilla marketing efforts. . These are powerful wholesale marketing methods and form a solid part of a complete marketing mix. However, no one can deny that a variety of emerging changes are also making it clear that a good content strategy cannot be ignored either.

So what are some of the best content tactics for wholesale CEOs to engage with today?

1. Blogging

Blogs have been repeatedly recommended to wholesale CEOs over the last two years, although they have proven incredibly profitable for many, but most have yet to fully embrace them. This is tragic considering the long-term benefits and high ROI it offers, while also having the potential to drive high-quality traffic and short-term leads.

2. Guest blogs

While on-page blogging can develop as the heart of a real estate company’s business, off-page guest blogging on company and other people’s blogs can be just as important. This is even more true as the results of email marketing and other link building efforts are affected by Google’s ongoing changes. Done well, guest blogging improves long-term SEO and search engine rankings, helps attract short-term leads, increases visibility, and reinforces your status as a trusted expert with investors. So look for relevant, high-quality blogs, online magazines, and news sites that accept your content.

3. Social networks

Most investors are well aware of the need and reported benefits of engaging in social media, but few yet recognize how important it is, or are doing very well. Having profiles and posting some weird retweet or ad is not enough. It’s all about content and that means original and interesting content is requested. Ask questions, host contests, link to blog posts, highlight your successes, and find out how you can help others in your network.

4.Press releases

While it is potentially one of the most powerful forms of wholesale marketing to improve branding, positioning, and driving web traffic by commanding your own media with press releases, it is still sorely neglected by many wholesale CEOs. Check out the variety of free and low-cost options out there today to dramatically improve visibility and credibility.

5 Examples Where Democrats Often Lose the War of Words!

Regardless of political positions, philosophies, preferences, party affiliation, etc., any objective individual must be ready and able to realize and acknowledge that, in many cases, it seems that the biggest political enemy facing the Democrats is them. themselves. ! In many ways, our political elections and campaigns are similar to a war of words, and how the positions and messages involved are expressed. One significant difference between the so-called leaders of the 2 parties is that while Republicans, by and large, come together and focus on what they see as the big picture of maintaining political control. , and most of their main targets, the Democrats, often seem to shoot themselves in the leg with their Fight, and the lack of presentation, a united front, even when needed! This explains how, even though there are supposed to be fewer registered Republicans than registered Democrats, the pendulum often swings toward the so-called right! With that in mind, this article will briefly attempt to consider, examine, review, and discuss 5 examples of this.

1. defund the police: Then some of the more publicized examples and cases of police using unequal approaches and what some believe is based on racism, etc., when the expression, defund the police, was the slogan, this concept, and what some perceive it to mean and represent, scared much of the public, and, what should have been, a rallying cry, became an advantage for the Republicans, in the elections! Wouldn’t it have been more effective to use a slogan like, Support the police but remove the bad apples?

two. Systemic Racism/ Education: When one party uses it as a rallying cry, erasing part of our history, as it relates to race, etc., and it works to their advantage, this should be concerning! In many aspects of American life, we continue to witness a significant degree of systemic racism, but that catchphrase is often divisive when it comes to political messages, etc.

3. Gun Safety: How has the concept of gun safety, common sense, rules, etc. become a political issue? Why would a responsible gun owner object to at least the same level of licensing and registration that we have to own and operate a car? How many more must die before we restrict assault weapons and ensure gun owners are responsible citizens?

Four. Socialist / Socialism: Labels often make little sense in politics, but they are extremely effective tools in messages and slogans. How many people, who constantly refer to any government program they might disagree with as an example of socialism, have any real understanding of what that means and stands for?

5. Environment/Climate: Why would anyone be opposed to protecting our environment and ensuring clean air and water? Why would a person in his right mind disagree with scientists and experts and claim that climate change does not exist? I think it’s about power and influence, and attracting your perceived core fan base, etc!

When Mitch McConnell decided that one of his main focuses would be to appoint conservative judges, he did so to protect and maintain a specific philosophy and approach going forward. Wake up America and especially those who identify with the Democrats, unless/until this party unifies and becomes more pragmatic, it will continue to lose the war of words!

Origami Storytelling in Primary Education: Review of the Benefits of Language and Problem Solving

Storytelling in primary schools improves children’s language skills by giving them a valuable opportunity to practice listening comprehension, a vital component of early childhood education. The ability to understand spoken language involves much more than simply hearing words and discovering what the speaker means by the words. The nonverbal cues of pitch, tempo, and tonality of voice are essential for effective communication. In face-to-face interactions, the additional nonverbal elements of body language, gestures, and facial expressions make up to 80% of expressive language. But how, in our multitasking, screen-dominated learning environments, can teachers capture and hold the attention of their distraction-prone students?

Why not try using the art of Japanese origami paper folding to help focus students’ attention during language arts activities? When an unexpected curiosity like origami is added to a storytelling presentation, the educational benefits for elementary students increase. Origami models and other interesting objects add visual stimulation and grab attention, keeping young learners focused and motivated to pay more attention. Another advantage of adding origami to stories is that the origami is created step by step. As the story progresses scene by scene, an origami model can also be built, fold by fold. When the story ends, the origami model is also created. This specialized storytelling technique is called Storigami. Narration + Origami = Storigami.

Seeing and hearing stories illustrated by the progressive folds of origami models allows students to imagine the visual details of the scenes and characters described by the words, but also gives them experience in analyzing the symbolic representations of shapes and forms. folds of paper that are combined with characters or actions in the story. The ability to understand how forms relate to history and then imagine possible outcomes are key elements of successful problem solving, one of the most important goals of primary education.

How can teachers and other educators learn to use Storigami to build problem-solving and language arts skills in their elementary school classrooms? Fortunately, a Midwestern educational publisher, Storytime Ink International, has published several collections of origami stories, such as Nature Folding Stories: Quick and easy origami stories about plants and animals. This book and other folding storybooks describe how to use the technique, step by step. Storigami books are available at most public libraries and from various online sources, including http://Amazon.com/ and http://Storytimeink.com/

Examples of spyware and what they are

Spyware is a general term used to describe software that performs certain behaviors, such as advertising, collecting personal information, or changing your computer settings, usually without properly obtaining your consent first.

Spyware is often associated with software that displays advertisements (called adware) or software that tracks personal or sensitive information.

That doesn’t mean that all software that serves ads or tracks your online activities is bad. For example, you can subscribe to a free music service, but “pay” for the service by agreeing to receive targeted ads. If you understand the terms and agree to them, you may have decided that this is fair compensation. You can also agree to allow the company to track your online activities to determine which ads to show you.

Other types of spyware make changes to your computer that can be annoying and can cause your computer to slow down or crash.

These programs may change your web browser’s home page or search page, or add additional components to your browser that you don’t need or want. These programs also make it very difficult for you to change your settings back to the way you originally had them.

The key in all cases is whether or not you (or someone using your computer) understand what the software will do and whether or not you have agreed to install it on your computer.

There are several ways that spyware or other unwanted software can get onto your computer. A common trick is to covertly install the software during the installation of other desired software, such as a music or video file sharing program.

Any software that covertly collects user information through the user’s Internet connection without their knowledge, usually for advertising purposes. Spyware applications are usually included as a hidden component of freeware or shareware programs that can be downloaded from the Internet; however, it should be noted that most shareware and freeware applications do not come bundled with SpyWare. Once installed, Spyware monitors the user’s Internet activity and transmits that information in the background to someone else. Spyware can also collect information about email addresses and even passwords and credit card numbers.

Aside from ethics and privacy issues, SpyWare steals from the user by using the computer’s memory resources and also by consuming bandwidth when it sends information to the spyware’s base of operations through the user’s Internet connection. Because SpyWare uses memory and system resources, applications running in the background can cause system crashes or general system instability.

Because SpyWare exists as stand-alone executable programs, they have the ability to monitor keystrokes, scan files on your hard drive, snoop on other applications such as chat programs or word processors, install other SpyWare programs, read cookies, change the default home page in the Web Browser, constantly transmitting this information to the author of SpyWare, who will use it for advertising/marketing purposes or sell the information to a third party.

License agreements that accompany software downloads sometimes warn the user that a SpyWare program will be installed along with the requested software, but license agreements may not always be read in their entirety because the notice of a SpyWare installation it is often obtusely worded and difficult to understand. read the legal notices.

Examples of spyware

These common SpyWare programs illustrate the diversity of behavior found in these attacks. Note that, as with computer viruses, researchers give names to SpyWare programs that cannot be used by their creators. Programs may be grouped into “families” based not on shared program code, but on common behaviors, or “following the money” of apparent financial or business connections. For example, various SpyWare programs distributed by Claria are collectively known as “Gator.” Also, programs that are installed together can often be described as part of the same SpyWare package, even if they function separately.

o CoolWebSearch, a group of programs, exploits vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer. The package drives traffic to advertisements on websites, including coolwebsearch.com. It displays pop-up ads, rewrites search engine results, and alters the infected computer’s hosts file to direct DNS lookups to these sites.

o Internet Optimizer, also known as DyFuCa, redirects Internet Explorer error pages to advertisements. When users follow a broken link or enter a wrong URL, they see an ad page. However, since password-protected websites (HTTP basic authentication) use the same mechanism as HTTP errors, Internet Optimizer makes it impossible for the user to access password-protected sites.

o Zango (formerly 180 Solutions) transmits detailed information to advertisers about the websites users visit. It also alters HTTP requests for linked affiliate ads from a website so that the ads generate unearned revenue for 180 Solutions Company. It opens pop-up ads that cover the websites of competing companies.

or HuntBar, also known as WinTools or Adware, WebSearch was installed via an ActiveX drive-by download on affiliated websites or through advertisements displayed by other SpyWare programs, an example of how SpyWare can install more SpyWare. These programs add toolbars to IE, track aggregated browsing behavior, redirect affiliate referrals, and display ads.

oZlob Trojan, or simply Zlob, downloads itself to your computer via ActiveX codec and sends information to the control server. Some of the information can be your search history, the websites you visited, and even your keystrokes.

What doesn’t kill me, (actually) makes me stronger

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche was mad about his death, the way he ended the last almost eleven years of his life; but he is credited with the saying: “What does not kill us, makes us stronger”, and “What does not destroy me, makes me stronger”, and variants.

This man was a fervent enemy of Christianity and never saw the light of Christ, but I think he certainly got a lot right in philosophy, including this one.

And this quote is completely biblical. We can find bible verses upon bible verses to support the fact that Nietzsche was actually propounding the Word of God even though he hated Christianity and the thought of God. (For starters, see John 16:33; James 1:2-4; Galatians 6:9 and many others like it).

Everything we patiently endure in life eventually turns to our advantage. And this is where faith comes in. The faith of trust, hope, courage, boldness and confidence. Nietzsche therefore had faith and possibly a faith based on God, although he never knew it. He would call on the Biblical Wisdom tradition to support this claim.

The faith that gets us through the toughest times with a “what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger” approach requires hope, a sense of love (at least self-love), courage, and more.

However, it is only when we look back that we can see ‘after’ how far we have come and how much we have endured. In fact, Hebrews 12 attributes the difficult times of life to the loving discipline of the Lord, and the key to our perseverance is humbly accepting his love to grow us to maturity. Verse 11 says, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later, however, it produces a harvest of justice and peace for those who have been trained in it.”

We must remain and abide in God no matter what happens, even when it doesn’t make sense. What doesn’t kill me inevitably makes me stronger because God loves me so much that he wants me to reach my potential.

Yet it seems heartbreakingly untenable to think about how difficult some situations of loss and difficulty can be; however, this truth still holds; it’s not just a cliche. We will survive and we will be stronger if we endure.

Skip to Rudyard Kipling for part of an old favorite, “If”:

If you can force your heart, your nerves and sinews
To serve your turn long after they’re gone,
And so endure when there is nothing in you
Except the Will that tells them: ‘Wait!’
