In his book, ‘Man and His Planet: An Unauthorized History,’ James E. Strickling Jr. presents an analysis of a topic that has been debated by scholars, scientists, and religious leaders for generations: creation versus evolution. In his book, he examines both sides and provides an argument that refutes both conclusions. His argument is based on the following specific line of reasoning: “Natural selection is the scientific equivalent of religious fundamentalism and the creationist interpretation of the origin of life as the ‘Big Mistake.'” The overall goal of ‘Man and His Planet’ is to show that the creationists’ “fixed species” and the evolutionists’ “highly orderly gradual evolution of life on earth” are wrong, and to their disadvantage. for them not to listen to opposing points of view, since there is another potential alternative on how life arose and evolved.

Strickling argues that “the creationist belief system offers little value to our understanding and enlightenment.” He also challenges the evolutionary concept of speciation by natural selection by arguing: “In surviving, a circle is produced; the surviving species survive because they are the fittest, and they are considered the fittest because they survive. It explains nothing: survived has survived.” … There are no facts to support speciation by natural selection.” Instead, Strickling argues that natural selection allows a species to maintain its identity through natural selection.

Strickling provides an account of the Geological Record of the standard geological column where the picture presented is a very orderly gradual evolution of life on earth. He details an assessment of uniformitarianism vs. Catastrophism and holds that speciation accelerates in times of catastrophe such as the end of the Paleozoic and Mesozoic periods that were marked by extinction on a global scale. He argues that uniformitarianism does not satisfactorily explain evolution by natural selection.

Strickling provides a possible alternative that takes into account ancient documents that reveal natural electrical phenomena. The idea is that matter arose from energy. That is, a burst of energy erupted and subsequently transformed into matter. This theory is comparable to the scientific ‘Big Bang Theory’, as well as Deepak Chopra’s spiritual belief system related to energy, which claims that there is an elaborate connection between quantum physics and consciousness. According to Chopra, “each of us is a localized field of energy and information with cybernetic feedback loops interacting within a nonlocal field of energy and information.”

‘Man and His Planet: An Unauthorized History’ offers an intriguing look at the origins of life with a compelling critique of established religious and scientific explanations. I found myself appreciating the arguments presented while agreeing with some and disagreeing with others, such as man’s inability to impact global climate. ‘Man and the Planet of Him: An Unauthorized History’ is highly recommended as a book worth discussing and readers will gain insight into another way of looking at how the earth evolved without feeling like their own beliefs are being judged or ridiculed.

Imagine that social media is a lot like an in-person social party hosted by your local chamber of commerce. There are quite a few people there and you know that in order to successfully navigate this party, you’re going to have to strike up some face-to-face conversations with the potentially new customers who are there.

Have you seen the “Star Wars” saga? Remember the funny long-eared green character called “Yoda”? Well, he is quite an interesting character for EFL teachers and students because of the way he speaks English. He doesn’t speak incorrectly, but his particular word order is specialized and unique. Can you tell why?

Who hasn’t seen any of the “Harry Potter” movie series? While reading JK Rowling’s books may be more interesting, the movies also lend themselves well to use by English teachers and learners. The gardener, the giant Hagrid, speaks an exemplary version of Northern British English that can serve as a distinctive model.

The plan

Whether on VHS or DVD, select scenes where the character you want to model speaks. You, the EFL English teacher, can prepare the script directly from the movie scenes or use the original dialogues from the book. A practical sequence could be the following:

Play selected scene and dialogue

Rewind and play, but now you, the student, are the character.

Imitate the speech and dialogue of the character.

Repeat the imitation process as much as necessary to improve

Try to record your voice at the same time you speak at the beginning of the process.

Practice several times for at least three to five days.

On the last day of your imitation practice series, record yourself again.

Now listen to your first efforts and compare them to your latest recordings. You should notice a considerable improvement. Select another scene from the same movie with dialogue from the same character, if possible, and repeat the process.

Once you’ve gone through a couple of different scenes imitating the same or different characters, you’ll definitely have a noticeably greater ease and fluency in speaking. Plus, it’s usually pretty fun, especially if you’re working with a friend, classmate, or significant other. But don’t stop there, find other scenes and movie clips you can use.

Remember to review Hagrid’s speech in the Harry Potter movies and Yoda in the Stars Wars saga. You’ll find that they and many other characters are excellent models of what to say (or NOT say).

A lot of people have been asking me about the single player campaign and what decisions I made for Zerg and Protoss research while trying to beat the game in brutal mode. First of all, I must say that taking on Brutal mode in Starcraft 2 is not an easy task, to say the least. I’m going to show you what, in my opinion, is the best research path to follow when trying to conquer a brutal difficulty.

Protoss Research:

Tier 1– The choice is between Ultra Capacitors, which grant 5% more attack speed when upgrading weapons (and applies to both the Armory and Engineering Bay), and the Vanadium Plating, which grants 5% health in addition to armor upgrades (also applies to the Armory and engineering bay). Like I said before, the best defense is a good offense and I found that going with the Ultra-Capacitors proved to be more beneficial. The health boost seems good, but once you’ve upgraded Stabilizing Medpacks for medics and Advanced Heal AI for medics, I didn’t see the point in extra HP.

Winner: Ultracapacitors

Level 2: The second choice is between Orbital Depots, which allows you to place Supply Depots instantly, and Micro-Filtration, which allows you to collect vespene gas 25% faster and also applies to Automated Refineries. While orbital shells seem fast and efficient, the only serious use I could see is making a quick wall out of them. Now I’m guessing that since you’ve come this far, you’ve gotten used to building supply depots as needed and most of the more difficult missions actually max out your supply early on, making this upgrade almost worthless. However, I’ve found microfiltering to be the best option simply because it allows you to take out the big guns and get upgrades faster on missions.

Winner: Micro-Filtering

Level 3: The third choice is between the Automated Refinery, which allows Refineries to no longer need SCVs to collect gas, and the Command Center Reactor, which allows you to train 2 SCVs at once. I’ve seen people go for both options, but I feel like the Automated Refinery takes the cake. I don’t see the point of training 2 SCVs at once when you could have the refinery automated and be able to build 6 less SCVs per base. Granted, you’ll be able to increase your economy at a faster rate, but isn’t that what MULEs are for once you’ve upgraded Orbital Command?

Winner: Automated Refinery

Level 4: The fourth option is between Raven and Science Vessel. Now I’ve seen the power of Ravens versus Zerg and they can be absolutely devastating, but I don’t think this can even come close to competing with Science Vessel. The Science Vessel’s abilities greatly exceed those of the Raven. Being able to heal your ships and vehicles, as well as gain access to Irradiate (which is pretty much the Terran version of Fungal Growth) is way better than being able to drop auto turrets and homing missiles. The Science Vessel is the serious and obvious choice.

Winner: Science Ship

level 5: The final choice is between Tech Reactor, which combines Tech Lab and Reactor into one simple addon, and Orbital Strike, which allows the barracks units to drop the pod at the barracks rally point. When it comes to Orbital Strike, there is one keyword you should pay attention to: barracks units. Had this applied to Factories and Spaceports as well, I’d understand taking it, but being able to just drop 2 Marines or Marauders or Medics at the rally point is worthless at this stage of the game when you’ll most likely be building most of your Starport strike force. The Tech Reactor simplifies everything and allows you to pump everything you can build quickly and efficiently.

Winner: Tech Reactor

One cannot invest in physical gold bullion using a standard Roth IRA. You can also invest using one ounce silver coins that have been specifically minted by the United States Department of the Treasury. Silver and gold bullion can also be used, although they must meet the requirements stipulated by the IRS. In order for one to store gold and silver coins, the coins must be very pure. In addition, they should have an actual monetary value greater than that allowed by the collection value. As you are investing in physical gold, the gold must be stored in a secure facility and therefore you are expected to pay storage fees. Precious metals are stored in traditional vaults or any other vault that has a top-notch security system. When you want to collect your investment in gold, specific rules must be followed for the latter. Due to the strict nature of these rules, you may be required to pay a seller fee that includes tax.

Precious metals that can be stored

The Roth IRA is very specific to the type of precious metals that can be stored. Precious metals that are permitted include silver, gold, platinum, American Eagle coins, a coin that has been issued under the laws of any state, and gold, silver, platinum or palladium bullion that meets the required fineness requirements. Suitability requirements dictate that gold must be 9950 pure, silver must be 9990 pure, and both platinum and palladium must be 9995 pure. Bullion coins must be uncirculated and in excellent condition and proof coins must be ungraded and complete with certificate of authenticity. Any precious metal that does not meet these requirements cannot be stored in the account. Some of the products that cannot be stored include pre-1993 gold, 90% US silver, and the gold Krugerrand.

This is a great investment to make as it allows investors to put money after taxes into the IRA. Upon retirement, the investor can start making withdrawals from the account without fear of paying taxes, as long as the account has been open for a minimum period of five years.

To execute a rollover or transfer from an existing IRA to a self-directed precious metals IRA, a self-directed custodian is required to help you complete the process. The length of time it takes for the transfer to occur depends on the custodian.

It’s worth noting that a gold-backed Roth IRA gives you the privilege of investing in other precious metals like palladium. In addition, it also gives you the opportunity to make investments in other assets and commodities, such as stocks and real estate.

Dermatemys mawii, the Hickatee, a Central American river turtle is an aquatic turtle that spends its entire life in or on the water, even sleeping, and yet staying afloat. This fairly large tortoise species tops out at 25 inches in shell length and can weigh up to 44 pounds, 50 pounds if the weight of the shell or tortoise shell is included. Males can be distinguished from females by yellow markings on both sides of their heads. They also have a longer and thicker tail.

The female is somewhat smaller, with a shorter tail and a gray head without the male’s matching gold emblem and spotted insignia. The carapace, brown or olive green, is slightly curved; the ventral layer is cream-colored.

The female Hickatee only comes out of the water when she has to lay eggs, where up to sixteen eggs are deposited under the camouflage of decaying vegetation. This ‘mother’ never looks back, she never checks the eggs she has just plain ugly. The eggs she has just laid hatch on their own.

The coastal lowlands of Belize are the normal home environment for the Hickatee along with the waterways of southern Mexico and northern Guatemala. Clear, deep water is best, and the Hickatee consider Belize’s many lagoons to be prime residential areas.

When just hatched, a Hickatee will start life as meat eaters, however as they become adults they switch to a vegetarian diet. The ancient Mayans prized turtle meat for both food and religious ceremonies. Turtle meat is still a much appreciated delicacy today. Sea turtle eggs are collected in Belize for food.

The Hickatee is a herbivore and its meat is eagerly sought after by carnivorous man. Hickatee tortoise meat is a traditional Easter food in Belize that has helped put this tortoise on the critically endangered species list. In addition, the Hickatee is easy to catch, floating lazily on the surface of the water unaware that an accurate paddle will knock them unconscious or simply pick them up from a river bed in the dry season.

Despite its endangered status, the Hickatee only has very limited protection in Belize with a one-month closed season and no trade in Hickatee meat, a maximum of 3 per person and only five per vehicle are allowed to be taken. .

The Hickatee turtle is one of the most exploited turtles in the world, since it has been intensively captured, mainly for its meat, but also for its eggs, shell and even the hatchlings are sold for food. This tortoise has been nearly eliminated from much of its former range in southern Mexico.

Many students come to my store to buy laptops. They don’t need anything too fancy. Basically, they just need something to write articles and surf the Internet. So it’s always interesting to see what kind of laptop they end up with.

Some people buy a cheap, ugly laptop that will get the job done and others spend hundreds of dollars more just to make it look good. I am not judging them. It’s just interesting to note.

However, some parents won’t buy a nice looking laptop for their kids. They buy the cheapest laptop that will do the job. They don’t care how it looks.

If you’re one of those students who has to make do with an ugly laptop, here’s a way to make it a little nicer. Go online and search for laptop sleeves. These are large stickers that cover the top of your laptop.

You can get a solid color or you can choose a pattern or image. They usually have a library that you can choose from. This is an inexpensive way to make your laptop look a little better.

Here’s another tip: Many of the companies also allow you to design your own laptop sleeve. You can upload your own image, print it and send it to them. Maybe upload your school logo and show your school spirit. Or upload a photo of your dog or a drawing by your favorite artist. Up to you.

Just be careful when applying the skin. You don’t want air bubbles. Those look really tacky. Check out YouTube for some great tutorials. They will show you some tricks so that the skin is applied perfectly.
