Ignoring your feelings is a bad habit. Your body cannot communicate with you directly. The only method of communication is the sensationalist. Your body gives the message through the immune system. When you are tired, you feel pain in the body. But, you have to go to the party. Then you neglect the message, and you do not rest. Your body says that it is thirsty. You give him some snacks. Your body needs exercise, but you’re watching TV. It is the beginning of an unhealthy life.

If you want to be rich, study wealth and wealth. If you want to be happy, study the art of happiness. If you want health, adopt a healthy lifestyle.

2. Go to bed early, get up early

I hope you have heard this poem. It’s a good rhyme with some good advice. Early risers are more likely to perform better. Get a good night’s sleep for more than 8 hours. Wake up fresh in the morning. Do the exercise. Start your day with a healthy breakfast. In just 21 days, you will be able to see the positive change.

3. Don’t take stress, make a gratitude journal

Gratitude journals are great. If you’ve ever used one, you’ll know the positive feeling. We are all wounded with many things in life. Good health, smiling heart, great friends, beautiful home, greenery and birds are all indications of this beautiful world. When we complain, we go blind. We are unable to see the bright future. Our physical body responds to our thoughts. If you are stressed, your body will show signs of weakness. If you are happy, your body will respond to pure and healthy vibrations. Weight loss is a mind game. It’s a good math question.

You must resolve the question in your mind first; you can figure it out on paper. Losing weight is not difficult. Motivate yourself. Health, wealth and happiness are interconnected. Health cannot be separated from wealth. These three components are necessary to be successful in any part of life.

These tips are important for you to lose weight. You can read hundreds of diet tips. But, if you’re not following the basic rules, you won’t make any progress. You progress by taking inspired action. Inspired action and motivation will always help you succeed.

Since the aid will not be affected, simply pay directly to the school. Each grandparent can give up to the annual gift limit ($13,000 in 2010) to each student. This will help reduce the grandparents’ taxable estate and is an exempt gift to the student.

Tip #2: Establish a 529 Savings Plan

For grandparents who want to help with college costs, a qualified tuition plan offers a great option. Money set aside in these plans can be used for eligible expenses like tuition, fees, books, and equipment.

These accounts offer a variety of investment options that can be tailored to the time frame before the funds are needed. Funds grow tax-free and, if used for qualified expenses, can be withdrawn tax-free.

Grandparents can transfer large amounts of cash into these accounts without triggering gift tax. Each grandparent can effectively deposit up to five years of annual gifts which is currently $65,000. The assets in these accounts remain under the control of the grandparents and are not countable assets for the student.

Tip #3: Give the gift of prized possessions

Assuming Grandpa has long-standing assets that have increased in value, one way to pay for college tuition and reduce a potential tax bill is to gift these highly prized assets to someone in a lower tax bracket. This could be the child or the parents.

This saves the large capital gains tax bill the grandparents would likely incur if they sold the appreciated asset and used the proceeds to help pay for tuition or other expenses directly.

Tip #4: Establish a Charitable Remnant Trust

For those who are charitably inclined and want to help a student, grandparents can set up a trust.

A charitable remainder trust can be funded with highly appreciated assets that can later be converted into income-producing assets. The income that is generated can be used to help the student. Eventually the remaining assets can be given away to charity. This strategy helps the grandparents avoid paying capital gains on the assets and removes the asset from the taxable estate. While not an issue this year (no estate taxes in 2010), this will change in 2011 without any action from Congress.

Using Multiple Moving Averages to Evaluate the Trading Phase of a Forex Currency

In general, a forex currency can be considered to be in a trending phase or a sideways consolidation phase. Normally this should be easy to figure out, but sometimes an online Forex trader needs help seeing these phases quickly and easily. What makes this even more complex is that a currency can easily be trending on one time frame (daily) and trading sideways on another (four hours).

Most forex traders have a favorite trading technique that works very well in a sideways or trending market. It is rarely the case that the techniques work on both. Therefore, it is important for a trader to regularly assess whether the market is trending or trading sideways.

A technique often used by experienced traders is to apply multiple moving averages on the same chart. Usually seven to eight moving averages will suffice. They can be given different colors to make them more visually pleasing and identifiable. A very popular combination of settings is to set the first moving average to a period of three and then increase the period for the next moving average by 3. This will give you moving averages of three, six, nine, and so on. These can be simple and based on closing price. You can vary these settings to your liking, as long as you apply your final combination consistently across all your forex charts.

Once you’ve set them up, the next step is to blank the screen so you only see the moving averages and nothing else. Forex candles can be a distraction in the background. The easiest is to set your charts to a line format and then color your line format the same color as the background of your chart. So if your graph is white, color your line graphs white. You should now have a chart showing only the colored moving averages for the time period you used for the setup.

These conditions mean that all traders in the market agree with the current price of the coin. Tantrums? Yelling and screaming about homework? Complete lack of interest in school? There are so many changes happening in a teenager’s life, like changing friendships, dating problems, and “awful teachers.” When so many things are uncertain and changing, what can you do to stay calm at home?

For more than a decade, I have experienced the daily treatment of teenagers. As a teacher, I saw the negative side of them coming into my classroom tired, angry, crying, and sometimes ready to fight. Teachers expect a student to focus primarily on education, but that is not always the case. On many occasions, I would experience mini-episodes of a juicy talk show or reality TV show. However, while every teen is different, there are some common themes that come up when seizures occur. Boys generally seem to respond by dissociating or avoiding school responsibilities, while girls may lash out verbally and emotionally.

One of the most common conversations I’ve had with parents of teenagers has to do with worrying about their lack of interest in school. His focus may be on sports, girls, or video games. When we meet as a group, parents just don’t understand why their child isn’t completing homework or studying for tests. What can we do? How can we get it back to normal? When you ask the young person what’s going on, the most common answer I get is, “I don’t know.” And when pressed for a reason for behavior, we often hear, “Fine, whatever. I said I would.”

The girls are a little different. When they walk through the front door of the school, many girls seem to transform into social butterflies. The connections and bonds they develop with other classmates are more important than the activities in the classroom. They often misbehave by dressing inappropriately, leading to school staff asking them to change. This often leads to additional behavior problems, as peer perception is more important than creating a friendly learning environment. Girls often have a revolving door of friendships. At the beginning of the year I always tell them never to share their locker combinations because the people who are your friends this week will probably be your enemies next week. It is a weekly occurrence to see girls crying in the hallway or in class due to a problem with a classmate. When grades start to drop and parents request a conference, the meetings can be intense. Often the response is emotional. On several occasions I have had to remind girls to speak respectfully to parents as girls tend to lash out.

No parent wants to hear, “I hate you.” However, for parents with teenage girls, there’s a good chance they’ll experience this at some point. It’s like parents have never experienced the stress of school, dating, or life. “You do not understand!” And in some ways, the teens might be right. There are so many new pressures being put on teenagers these days. While there has always been the stress of “status” or being accepted into a certain group, kids now face new types of bullying like cyberbullying. Unfortunately, it’s easier to call someone on social media sites, shame them online, or tell them to kill themselves via text.

When it comes to teenagers, a dose of understanding is certainly important. So what can parents do at home to help their children? My two main suggestions: communication and consistency. As much as a teen may not agree, setting limits is what she wants most. Children need to know what is expected of them, from a set curfew to expectations for completing schoolwork. But they also need to feel heard. This doesn’t mean you have to agree with what they say, but it can build a little more cooperation if you listen to them first.

Let’s be honest…teenagers do a lot of stupid things. I’m sure we can all think of a time or two when we wish we could take back something we did. The important thing to remember is that we learn from these silly mistakes. Every wrong turn is an opportunity to learn. Too often we assume that children know what they are supposed to do, just as we assume they know how to use their textbooks to study. But if no one shows them the way, how can they know? This is where communication comes in. Instead of asking why they did something, try “What was the reason behind that decision?” It removes the tone of blame that teens tend to hear and opens up space to learn what’s going on in their minds. This gives you a chance to hear if there is a gap between what you think they should know and what they actually understand. And when you discover that they really don’t know something, you have a great opportunity to lead the way and share your own knowledge.

I recently experienced this with my nephew. He started a new job near where I live and asked to stay with me. We quickly learned that he needed guidance on budgeting when he blew through an entire paycheck in one week. I assumed they taught him how to balance his income with his expenses, but he was wrong. While we both had to address his financial concerns during the second week, it resulted in a great discussion and a wonderful learning opportunity. We even had a chance to talk about setting up a savings account and money for college. But this wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t taken the time to find out what he was thinking.

Along with communication, parents need consistency. I’m sure she’s heard the phrase, “Say what he means and think about what he says.” The first thing to keep in mind is not to create a reward or consequence that you are not willing to follow through on. If you recognize that your child has been up late playing video games and you want them to go to sleep, don’t threaten to take away the gaming system unless you mean it. The minute you don’t follow through, he knows you’re just talking and he won’t take you seriously. If her daughter doesn’t complete homework because she spends all her time online and on the phone, what options does she have available to her? Don’t feel bad about taking your computer and phone. Another aspect of consistency is helping your teen create a routine. When should the task be completed? If you leave it to them, many teens will wait until just before bed when they are too tired to focus. With so many things grabbing your attention, it’s hard to prioritize what’s most important. This is especially true for teens who are involved in sports or other extracurricular activities. When is homework completed if they have band practice at 4 and road basketball at 7pm? We cannot assume that they will know how to handle all these tasks, especially when we struggle with the same things as adults. Orientation is important, but what if you yourself have difficulty prioritizing tasks? Seek help. Perhaps an aunt or grandmother could be the prime example in this case. Have your teen make a list of all the things she would like to or must do during the week. Then plan how it will be completed. Sometimes just “seeing” it ugly in front of them helps teens plan.

One final note: parenting is not easy. You know it. And just as your teen makes mistakes, so will you. And that’s fine. But it is those parents who show they care who have the greatest impact on their children’s lives. Model what you would like to see from your child. Sometimes that means sitting at the kitchen table to balance the checks while you complete homework. Maybe it’s showing your child how he studied for a math test. And when your teen is having a hard time understanding Shakespeare, maybe turn off the TV and read it with him. Ultimately, you as a parent will have the biggest impact on how your child handles the struggles of being a teenager. When tempers flare or grades drop, communication and consistency are key to calming the teen meltdown.

Wrestling: how a chubby boy became an Olympic champion

Olympic champion wrestler Dave Schultz was known as “Pudge” in wrestling circles. He was a bit chubby in his youth. In fact, Dave’s friend Steve Holt stated in an article that Dave was a complete jerk with no well defined muscles when he was in high school. He states that Dave would often be mistaken for a scorer or a coach.

Steve first puts Dave into a weekend tournament that Steve was wrestling during his high school years. Steve states, “I noticed this fat, chubby first-year kid sitting in the bleachers watching me during every round. He was looking at me and studying me like a scientist does with a white lab rat in a maze. I was even taking notes!”

According to Jim Humphrey, former Indiana University head coach, “he didn’t look like an athlete, with the sloping shoulders, shuffling gait, and pigeon toes. He wasn’t particularly fast.”

So what sets Dave “Pudge” Schultz apart from other fighters? How did he become so dominant?

Mentors Wanted

Young Dave Schultz became a fan of wrestling. He couldn’t get enough. He wanted to learn the best techniques he could and looked for ways to get additional practice time.

For example, Chris Horpel met Dave when Horpel was already an NCAA All-American wrestler for Stanford. Dave, 14, walked up from Palo Alto High and asked Horpel, 21, to wrestle him. Horpel agreed, hoping to get rid of Dave after a few sessions. To his surprise, Dave kept coming back.

according to a Sports Illustrated article titled “Brothers and Brawlers,” “Dave, dyslexic as a child, had started fighting in seventh grade on the advice of a teacher who thought it would help him build his self-confidence. He did that and more. For his high school student Freshman year at Palo Alto High, Dave was a wrestling fanatic. He wore his t-shirt under his school clothes and his wrestling shoes everywhere. He trained up to three times a day. After his training at school high school, he was riding his bike a few miles down the road so he could practice with the Stanford wrestling team, whose coach, Joe DeMeo, was taking him 30 miles north to Skyline College for a session with a club called the Peninsula Grapplers.

Dedication

Dave Schultz was not a wrestling prodigy. He was dominating from the start. He took time and dedication.

Dave Schultz had dyslexia and was teased and teased by other kids. When Dave first stepped onto the wrestling mat in seventh grade, he was clumsy and uncoordinated. He didn’t get his driver’s license at age 16 because he didn’t want to spend time taking the class. He had a girlfriend for a short time during his senior year of high school, but he dumped her after she suggested that he should spend more time with her and less time fighting.

Focus on technique

Dave Schultz studied wrestling, analyzing techniques and breaking down each move. For Dave, wrestling was like a game of chess.
