How an eSignature Solution Improves Workflow and Efficiency

How an eSignature Solution Improves Workflow and Efficiency

Businesses with documents that require signatures can benefit from eSignature solutions. These can be delivered via secure text messages, web or mobile apps.

An electronic signature solution should automate as many touchpoints as possible to save time and improve data accuracy. Learn how to identify key evaluation criteria when choosing an eSignature solution.

Improved Collaboration

The old-fashioned way of signing documents – receiving paper documents, providing your John Hancock and mailing them back – can slow down workflows, create a poor customer experience and be costly for businesses. E-Signature solutions help to eliminate these interruptions and increase productivity for everyone involved.

The first step in streamlining a business process with an esignature solution is to identify where and how signatures are needed in the workflow. Businesses can use document workflow mapping tools to map out the steps involved and the associated touchpoints in order to get a better understanding of where the bottlenecks are and how they can be improved.

Proposal to Payment

Once the document flow is mapped out, it’s important to think about how your customers will access their documents for signing. Typically this is through email but some solutions offer the ability to present documents via secure text message or web browser for even more convenience.

Natterbox, for example, uses Conga Composer and Sign to streamline their proposal and contract process, eliminating paper and allowing them to deliver a more consistent experience across all customers. This not only speeds up the process for their sales team, but it also helps to improve data accuracy and compliance with COVID-19 regulations.

Reduced Time

When it comes to managing document processing, manual processes can be expensive and time consuming. Eliminating this expense through the use of eSignatures can also increase staff productivity and satisfaction. The ability to remove human error from the process means that documents are sent out on time and without delay, which can help speed up contracts, proposals and more.

Rather than waiting for an email or downloading an app, a mobile-optimized eSignature solution can ask customers to sign in the moment they’re interested in making a purchase, saving them valuable time and creating a better customer experience. In addition, it can pre-populate forms and documents with transactional data for an even faster signing process.

Finally, an eSignature solution can eliminate the need for printing, scanning and faxing, which are not only inconvenient but also create an unnecessary environmental footprint. In addition, the ability to send documents from a desktop or smartphone means that it’s easier for staff to sign on the go and reduce office interruptions.

It’s crucial to consider your organization’s culture when implementing an eSignature solution. Make sure that all staff members, from frontline workers to the CEO, understand the benefits and have the necessary training needed to adopt the new system. A slow, gradual approach can also be helpful to avoid workflow obstructions and ensure that everyone is comfortable with the technology.

Increased Security

Unlike paper documents, an eSignature solution can be used with any device. This allows users to review, sign and return documents from anywhere in the world using a smartphone, tablet or computer. Using an eSignature tool also saves time by eliminating the need to print, scan and mail documents. This can cut down on process delays and enables your staff to work more effectively.

Whether you’re looking to improve workflows for customers or internal teams, an eSignature solution is an easy way to remove bottlenecks. This will help your team complete their tasks in a timely and efficient manner, giving you a competitive edge.

It will also allow you to verify the authenticity of documents by creating a digital audit trail. This will show you who prepared, signed and modified the document along with a timestamp. This will protect you from any legal liability, and is especially useful if your company has stringent compliance standards.

Additionally, many eSignature solutions provide customizable and branding options for your documents and signature experience. This can enhance customer satisfaction and give your business a more professional look. You can even choose to integrate the tool with your existing apps to streamline the signing process. This will save your teams time and money while reducing the risk of errors and disruptions. This will ensure leaner turnaround time and boost productivity throughout your organization.

Improved Compliance

When you use an eSignature solution, you can be sure that each document has a full version history and all signatories are recorded in detail. This helps you maintain strict compliance and auditing of your processes – especially in areas like data protection, securing documents with passwords and encryption, and ensuring that documents are only signed by authorized people in trusted locations.

In addition, eSignature solutions enable you to create signing sequences, add mandatory signature fields to documents and ensure that they’re signed in the correct order. Depending on the needs of your business, they can also deliver documents via email or as links that can be accessed in web or mobile apps. This increases your responsiveness and allows you to better serve customers, particularly when they’re away from their desk or using outdated tools.

Unlike the old way of submitting documents by paper, which often led to contract delays due to lost or misplaced contracts or the time it took for them to reach the right person in your company, eSignatures can eliminate these workflow obstructions and speed up your business. That means that your sales teams can close deals faster, employees can get reimbursed quicker and accountants can finish their monthly financials sooner. This all translates into more business opportunities and better customer experiences. For example, Claremont Graduate University is able to accelerate its workflows and increase revenue with airSlate’s eSignature automation for adjunct contracts and student applications.

What Are the Advantages of Using Free Android APK Download Sources?

Android APK Download Sources

Android users have many ways to download and install apps on their mobile devices. Some of these methods are better than others, and some come with risks that can affect the device’s security and performance. Some of these risks include malware, viruses, and other unwanted software. However, if users exercise caution and know where to get legitimate app files, they can avoid these risks and enjoy the benefits of using free Android APK download sources.

APK stands for Android Package Kit at www.apkappfree.com, and it is the file format used by Google Play to distribute and install apps on Android-powered smartphones and tablets. The files are compressed archives of all the components that an app needs to run, including code files, images, and resources. They are designed to be smaller than executable files, making them easier to download over slow cellular networks and unpack on devices with limited storage.

The APK format is also convenient because it allows users to bypass restrictions put in place by app stores or manufacturers. This can allow users to access apps that are not available on their countries’ Google Play Stores or that may not be compatible with their devices.

What Are the Advantages of Using Free Android APK Download Sources?

There are several sites that specialize in providing APKs for a wide range of apps. Several of these are considered safe to use, including Softonic, which has a huge selection and a policy against featuring modded or hacked apps. Another good option is F-Droid, which offers only open-source apps that are vetted by the community. This makes it one of the safest places to get apps for Android.

Some of these sites allow users to customize their Android devices with custom launchers and themes that are not available on the Google Play Store. These customization options can give the user a much more personalized experience and make their smartphone or tablet stand out from the crowd. In addition, some of these sites offer the latest version of an app before it is officially released, giving users access to new features and bug fixes before other users can get them.

While there are many advantages to using free Android APK download sources, it is important for users to exercise caution and know where to get their files from. Some of these sites can contain malicious software or other unwanted files that could harm the device or steal personal information. Additionally, some of these sources can be difficult to navigate and are not always updated regularly.

In light of these risks, it is best to stick with the Google Play Store when looking for apps to download onto Android devices. Users should be wary of downloading from any other source, especially if they are not familiar with it. By following the tips and best practices listed in this article, users can avoid the most common security risks and enjoy all the benefits that come with using free Android APK download sources.

American Mobsters – Abe Wagner – Beaten Up by Murder Incorporated

Abe Wagner was a Lower East Side thug/bootlegger who became the quintessential Jewish neighborhood, the new “Kid Dropper,” he told people; Dropper was a tough Jewish gang leader from New York City who had bought the ranch himself in 1923. Wagner thought he was such a tough guy that he once roughed up the son of Italian mob boss Joe “The Boss.” Masseria then told the boy to leave. home and show his old man what Abe Wagner had done. Fortunately for Wagner, Masseria was shot dead before he could avenge the indignity of his son.

Wagner and his brother Allie were making a good living in the bootlegging business on the Lower East Side, when Mazza’s upstart gang decided to move in with them and take over their operations. On February 20, 1932, Wagner was driving down Suffolk Street in his brand-new car. As Wagner slowly passed the many carts on the street, half a dozen marksmen appeared out of nowhere and opened fire. As his car was being turned into Swiss cheese, Wagner was somehow able to roll out the passenger door and then run down the crowded street.

Not being the bravest of souls as he claimed, Wagner decided to make peace with his enemies. He sent his associate Harry Brown and his brother Albie to the Mazza gang’s headquarters at the Hatfield Hotel on the Upper East Side. “See if you can afford them,” Wagner said. The two men arrived at the Hatfield Hotel with a large sum of money. The Mazzas accepted the cash, but then shot Albie Wagner dead, leaving Harry Brown alive, so he could deliver the message to Abe Wagner, that peace could not be made until old Abe was dead too.

Wagner’s mother, Paulie, was mortified that her youngest son, Albie, was killed and did not want Abe to suffer the same fate. “Take Goldie (Abe’s wife) and go somewhere for a while,” Mama Wagner told her son. “Go now so I don’t worry. Hurry up.”

Wagner did as his mother told him and quickly left town. A month later, the Lindberg baby was kidnapped in Hopewell, New Jersey, and Wagner immediately came under suspicion. “We have information that Wagner was seen in the vicinity of Hopewell approximately a month prior to the abduction,” said Col. H. Norman Schwarzkopf, chief of the New Jersey State Police.

The police couldn’t find Wagner, but the Mazza Gang, now aligned with Lucky Luciano, had a lot of eyes and eyes and feet on the ground across the country, and they got this apparatus going. After Wagner went undetected with his wife at various out-of-town locations, he decided to sneak back to New York City to see his mother. He was at his mother’s apartment for a few hours when Mom Wagner received the news that her son had been seen. “Go quick,” she said. “Dont wait”.

Wagner picked up his wife and headed west, stopping in St. Paul, Minnesota. He changed his identity to Abe Loeb and decided to go into the fruit-selling business. Within weeks, the Mazza Gang had tracked down Wagner, and Luciano contacted his old friends Bugsy Siegel and Meyer Lansky, who, along with Louie “Lepke” Buchalter, had formed a tidy company called Murder Incorporated, which was made up of a nasty group of hired killers To rent. They sent two of their best men, Joseph Shaefer and George Young, to St. Paul to push Wagner’s button. Both men were already on the run for killing federal agent John J. Finiello during a raid two years earlier on a moonshine brewery in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Both men also knew St. Paul intimately, as it was one of their hideouts during the two years they were on the run.

On July 25, 1932, Wagner and his new partner, Al Gordon, left a pharmacy on University Avenue after having a prescription filled. They were followed by Schaefer and Young, who were riding in a dark green Packard. Suddenly, the hitmen jumped out of the car and started shooting. Gordon was killed instantly, but Wagner was only wounded. He ran for his life down University Avenue, then turned onto Snelling Avenue. The gunmen caught up with Wagner as he was running towards the Green Dragon restaurant. There, in front of witnesses, they shot him six times and then hit him over the head with the butts of their guns for good measure. Wagner died hours later at Ancker Hospital, and the gunmen were arrested by a passing patrol car minutes later on Roy Street. They were tried and convicted and sentenced to life in prison, despite attempts by Lansky and Siegel, who spent thousands of dollars to help them avoid the death sentence.

The dead “Loeb” was not identified by the St. Paul police as the fugitive Wagner. As a result, the following Thursday, Mama Wagner held a “press conference” at her Rutgers Street apartment. She told reporters: “My son Alie was killed in St. Paul last Monday. He was killed by the same killers who killed my Allie here. I knew they would. But why? Why? My son He was always so good to me.”

As proof of his son’s murder, he produced a telegram from Wagner’s wife, Goldie, asking her to send twenty-five dollars so that Wagner could be transported back to New York for a proper burial. “That was all the money she had,” Mama Wagner said. “If he wasn’t my son, why would he have the telegram?”

Top UFO Investigators Confirm Christian View

A general consensus has emerged among serious, science-oriented UFO researchers that a small percentage of UFOs are real and not figments of anyone’s imagination. Furthermore, it is well known that many people claim to receive messages from alleged aliens aboard UFOs.

The messages received from UFOs are generally hidden and turn people away from believing in Christian doctrine. Aliens tend to undermine or attack the Christian faith.

Christian scholars and researchers have responded to this attack. In this article I will show that leading UFO researchers, many of whom are agnostics, have come to generally support the Christian position on UFO phenomena.

After all UFO sightings have been carefully analyzed and most explained as natural phenomena, the remaining UFOs, called Residual UFOs (RUFOs) are considered real. They are real, but leading researchers say they are not metallic spacecraft from distant stars or planets.

Astronomers who have dedicated their careers to the study of UFOs point to the fact that UFO flight patterns defy the laws of physics, such as spinning and accelerating so fast that any metal spacecraft would disintegrate even if the spacecraft metal was a solid iron ball. Also, UFOs are seen in the atmosphere and are not seen coming from outer space.

UFO sightings have been reported throughout history. Ancient literature describes ‘air people’ and ‘cloud ships’ in terms that correspond to modern UFO sightings. In 1691, a Scottish minister wrote a book describing how Scottish farmers were harassed by paranormal entities similar to the UFOs of our time.

All of us are aware of the many UFO cults that have sprung up. There have even been television specials dedicated to the UFO phenomenon.

Francis Crick, Nobel Prize-winning co-discoverer of DNA, calculated the probability of protein formation by random collisions of atoms in primordial ooze. It seemed so remotely unlikely to Crick that proteins and other building blocks of life could form by chance on Earth that he decided that aliens from outer space must have brought life to Earth.

Crick’s theory that aliens brought life to earth is called the “Guided Panspermia Theory” of the origins of life. This new theory of the origins of life gave impetus to UFO research.

Close encounters of the fourth type are when people (almost invariably occult and New Age) are abducted and communicate with the aliens. Aliens generally give messages with a deep religious impact that turn people away from Christianity.

Consider the following quote: “For example, ‘The Urantia Book,’ a tome supposedly communicated to humans by spiritual dictation from ‘superuniverse rulers,’ devotes the first two-thirds of its 2,097 pages to describing a ‘universe of universes.’ which is not subject to space and time”

The quote continues: “The last third of this UFO bible denies the full deity of Jesus Christ and the need for humanity to be saved from its sinful condition.” (Quoted from Lights in the Sky and Little Green Men: A Rational Christian Look at UFOs and Extraterrestrials by Ross, Samples and Clark p. 122).

It seems clear from the above quote and abundant other evidence that aliens are opposed to Christian doctrine. This leads me to believe that the aliens are actually demons.

It is also very interesting and revealing to note that many of the top UFO researchers seem to be coming to a point of view that sustains and supports the Christian view that demons are involved.

Astronomer J. Alan Hynek and the late French physicist Jacques Vallee are perhaps the most respected UFO researchers in the world. Both are agnostics. Nobody can consider them Christians with a theological ax to grind.

Both men have made what I consider to be very bold statements that clearly support the Christian position that spiritual entities are behind the UFO phenomenon. For example, Hynek said that UFOs cause physical effects “in the same way that a poltergeist can produce very real physical effects.”

Vallee said: “The UFO phenomenon represents evidence of other dimensions beyond space-time… It is a spiritual system that acts on humans and uses humans.”

There are many other quotes that I could quote. Vallee was the leading proponent of the Interdimensional Hypothesis, which is the view that UFOs come from another dimension (Christians like me would say the other dimension is the spirit dimension) and not from interstellar travel.

Many prominent born-again Christian scholars, such as David Allen Lewis, have conducted research on UFO phenomena. It seems clear to them that the demons are using UFOs to deceive millions into preparing them to embrace a ‘New Age’ type of occult faith.

Some say that UFOs and the teachings that follow from them are preparing the world to welcome the coming antichrist.

I will close this article by mentioning the fact that there have been documented cases of close encounters of the fourth type, which are UFO abductions, which have actually stopped when the people involved called out the name of Jesus. In other words, people appealed to the atoning work of Christ, who died for our sins.

When they cried out to Jesus, the demons that were trying to kidnap them ceased their activity. Demons fear the power of Christ and must submit to the power of Christ because Christ is the Son of God. See the April 2001 issue of Charisma magazine for documentation on UFO abductions that were stopped in this way.

An important source for this article was Lights in the Sky and Little Green Men: A Rational Christian Look at UFOs and Extraterrestrials by Ross, Samples, and Clark.

What Sets Character AI Apart From Traditional Chatbots?

Character AI Apart From Traditional Chatbots

What sets Character AI apart from traditional chatbots is that users can create and interact with their own personalized characters. This can include famous people, fictional creatures, or even themselves. The possibilities are endless and it allows people to practice their social skills in difficult situations or learn a new language, for example.

To start building your own personality, visit the Character AI website and click “Create a character”. You’ll be asked to provide a name and a brief description of the person. You can also upload a photo and select a gender. The more information you input, the better the personality will be. After this, you will need to specify a greeting message and set some examples of conversations that the character might have. This is used to teach the AI how to respond appropriately to various conversations and to help it get a sense of the character’s personality.

The character ai platform offers a quick and easy process to construct a new personality, but there is an advanced mode for more in-depth customizations. Those who prefer to build their characters step by step can use the official guide to perfect their creations, called The Character Book. Once you have a character, you can interact with it in the Chat Rooms section of the site. This feature allows you to chat with multiple personalities and can be a fun way to pass the time. However, it’s important to remember that these characters are not real and should be treated with the utmost respect.

What Sets Character AI Apart From Traditional Chatbots?

Whether you’re an advanced user or a novice, Character AI is an exciting development in the world of AI tools. It opens up a whole new way to communicate and engage with the world, giving you the ability to talk with anyone from Elon Musk to Taylor Swift.

Chatting with a personality on Character AI is free, but the company recommends signing up for its Plus version so that you can use the service even when the servers are busy and you’ll get exclusive characters and other cool features.

As with all chatbots, there are some limitations to this service. For example, the creators of the personalities won’t be able to see the conversations you have with them. The service also uses strict filtering and will block NSFW content, which is a good thing depending on the purpose of your chatbot. It’s also important to keep in mind that this is a public service and the company doesn’t encourage pornographic content of any kind. Lastly, this service does not offer an API, so you cannot build it on your own server like you can with some other chatbots. This can be an issue if you need to integrate your chatbot with your own platform or software. If this is the case, it may be better to look for a different solution. The good news is that there are many other AI chatbots on the market to choose from.

Apollo Intensa Emozione – The Apollo IE

At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Apollo was ready to show its new direction with the Arrow concept. Yet here we are 19 months later, and the company’s first real product, the “Intensa Emozione” is nothing like that idea. That’s because they’ve done a lot to push the design far beyond what the original Apollo chassis could handle.

After turning the Gumpert-based Apollo N into a functional track car by completely redesigning its innards, Norman came to the conclusion that the tubular chromoly space frame Gumpert designed was not something they could work with long term. Then it was decided that they would switch to a naturally aspirated V 12 instead of a twin turbo Sixth is v 8 as well.

Once they were done looking at the new blank slate, Apollo moved forward simply by teaming up with Paolo Garella, the engineer whose recent works include Scuderica Cameron Clickenhaus’s race frame for the SCG 003. Based on what they learned from Glickenhaus’ In program from ürburgring, Garella’s Manifattura Automobili Torino built an even tighter carbon-fiber frame, happy to be freed from the packaging issues associated with forced-induction motors, but still challenged by the styling team to fit so much a Sixth is V dozes like a 26.4 gallon fuel cell, all without compromising balance.

The result is a fully CO2 chassis with a carbon monocoque, as well as carbon fiber front and rear subframes, plus crash structures that are seamlessly integrated into the exterior design. The platform weighs just 231 pounds, allowing the Apollo IE to claim a curb weight figure of 2,755 pounds, with a 45/55 percent split front and rear.

The IE sits on a 106-inch wheelbase, with an overall length of 16.5 feet. It’s also nearly two meters wide at 6.5ft, while its ride height is hydraulically adjustable between 60 and 160mm. The standard configuration of the road is usually 110 m. The adjustable shocks come from Bilstein, while the rest of the suspension is definitely a double wishbone setup with full pushrod and rocker architecture at both ends, along with flexible anti-roll bars.

For those hard days on the track, the IE also comes with a pneumatic quick-lift system with four air intakes. Supporting the action are Apollo co2 ceramic Brembo brakes with 6-piston calipers up front and four-piston at the rear, barely concealed behind forged aluminum BBS wheels.

Tuned to produce 780 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 560 pound-feet of torque at 6,000 rpm, the Apollo six. 3 V12 is a variant of the Ferrari F12 engine, with new software, plus a custom intake and exhaust system developed by Autotecnica Motori in Italy. It accelerates to 9000, while the tach goes to 11.

The V12 uses a 6-speed paddle-operated Hewland racing gearbox. Meanwhile, Apollo will also be working on a dual-clutch automatic transmission for its future cars, like the upcoming Arrow that will debut in 2019.

There’s also a 12-level traction control program, mostly because there are three drive modes to keep things tidy, but the lack of turbos in the blue-blooded V12 promises old-school thrills in a 2,976-lb. of downforce at 186 mph.

Despite most of the engineering, though, the Apollo IE’s most fascinating feature remains its exterior styling, which was the function of two men in their early twenties operating from home. Yes. This car was created in the living room of a 27-year-old.

On the hunt for executive headhunters

5 Tips for Winning Over an Executive Headhunter or Management Recruiter

Many job seekers are overwhelmed with fear at the prospect of seeking a new professional position on their own. That’s why many people hope to hang their hats on executive headhunter connections to seek them out in their continual (endless?) quest for the ultimate trophy career.

To win over a reliable executive headhunter, a job seeker has to plan his attack. A well-connected executive recruiter will not hire just anyone in a suit. You have to build a strong foundation long before you make contact.

Just like animal hunting needs supplies, recruiter hunting also requires strategy and supplies. Here are five tips to successfully capture the prize: the services of an executive recruiter.

Do your homework

The savvy job seeker should be well armed with knowledge, not only about their interests and skills, but also about the headhunter’s interests and specialties. Yes, it helps to approach a headhunter who understands your field and has built connections, because there’s very little need for chemical engineers in an accounting firm (although chemical manufacturers have been forced to let accountants into their sanctuaries, But that is another story ).

At the same time, an executive management recruiter has no interest in your skills, even if you’ve won dozens of awards for the French pastries you’ve created.

Of course, it helps to get acquainted with the labor market. That’s the executive recruiter’s job, but it’s also yours.

You’ll also get a lot more if you’ve assessed your own skills, not just your desired job. If you clearly aren’t qualified for what he’s looking for, he won’t sell himself to the headhunter. And if you can’t sell yourself to the headhunter, he or she won’t bother trying to sell you to anyone else.

Identify reputable executive recruiters and head hunters

Unfortunately, in the 21st century there are a growing number of scammers and scammers who have injected themselves into the business of recruiters and executive hunters. Therefore, as you begin your search for a bona fide, qualified executive recruiter, it is vital that you ask.

Before you approach an executive headhunter, find out as much as you can about their operations, track record, and experience from as many freelance resources as you can access. Be sure to find other men or women who have used your services. Find out who has actually landed jobs for other people, before you put your career in the hands of a charlatan.

Prepare for a strong resume

OK. so this might be obvious. But it is not always done. Prepare a professional resume before contacting the executive headhunters on your list. Your resume is your business card and will determine whether the recruiter will want to let you waste his secretary’s time.

Align strong references

Before knocking on headhunters’ doors, make sure you have a list of professional references handy.

Just as you’ll want to know the ins and outs of any executive recruiter you approach, these professionals will also want to know a lot about you. They will want to be able to contact your references, men and women who can back up your career aspirations with solid testimonials about your past accomplishments, your character, your abilities, and even your weaknesses as well.

Be sure to ask each reference for permission ahead of time, so they don’t get caught off guard and say something like, “okay, um, let me see, uh…you called for who?”

Schedule a one-on-one Head Hunter meeting

Finally, when you have all your ducks lined up, you’re ready to meet the executive headhunter who will give you the ultimate trophy run. Of course, it’s helpful to choose more than one recruiter, and it’s also helpful to schedule a meeting at your convenience.

There you go. You’re ready to go executive headhunting. Job hunting couldn’t be more fun unless it came with a cherry on top and a complimentary subscription to Laugh magazine. Happy hunting.

Victoria Falls – The largest waterfall on Earth!

BASIC FACTS

Victoria Falls is on the Zambezi River, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe in southern Africa. They are one of the Great Natural Wonders of the World.

At a mile wide and 400 feet high, they form the largest vertical sheet of water in the world.

They were “discovered” by David Livingstone in 1855 and named after Queen Victoria.

Before that, they were known locally by a more romantic name: Mosi-oa-Tunya, or “Thundering Smoke.”

The falls are part of two national parks, the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia and the Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe, and are one of the top tourist attractions in southern Africa.

They are also on the UNESCO world heritage site.

HOW TO GET HERE

Fly from Johannesburg Airport to Victoria Falls Airport (Zimbabwe) or Livingstone Airport (Zambia).

Both flights last about an hour and a half. Both airports are about a 20-minute drive from Victoria Falls.

Most flights leave Johannesburg early in the morning, so you’ll need a hotel at the Johannesburg airport to spend the night before.

If you have the time and courage, you can travel overland on a “Safari” from Cape Town. This can be a fabulous way to see Africa, but the quality, safety, and price of these trips vary wildly.

WHEN TO VISIT

Victoria Falls enjoys a mild, dry season from June to August.

Then the temperature rises steadily until the rains begin in mid-November. Then it’s hot, wet and humid until the rainy season ends at the end of April. If you don’t like heat and humidity, avoid the rainy season!

It is also very hot here just before the rains start. Late October/early November is known as “suicide season” with temperatures often in excess of 40 degrees!

The falls are at their strongest during the March and April floods, but the immense amount of spray obscures the view and can get you very wet. For a smooth and pleasant visit, come between June and September.

VISAS

Visa regulations change in BOTH Zimbabwe and Zambia almost daily.

Plus, Victoria Falls is right on the border, and you’ll want to see it from both sides.

I would advise you to get multiple entry visas for both countries before embarking on your trip.

MONEY (ZIMBABWE)

The Zimbabwean dollar is volatile and exchange rates can fluctuate alarmingly from one moment to the next.

By far the best currency to use in Zimbabwe is the US dollar.

Sterling and Euros can be used, but the exchange rate is low.

Traveler’s checks are a waste of time on the streets, but they can be used to pay for excursions.

Basically, you need to have US dollars (cash) to change to Zimbabwean dollars, preferably in smaller bills. South African Rand and Botswana Pula can be exchanged as they are regional hard currencies.

Warning!

It is illegal to change money on the streets of Zimbabwe.

If you are caught, you will be arrested and prosecuted. If someone on the street offers to exchange dollars with you, walk away! It doesn’t matter how good your rate is!

As of this writing, the government has closed all exchange offices, so the only place to legally exchange money is at a bank. The exchange rate at banks is only a fraction of the street (black market) rate, but at least it’s legal!

Ask your tour guide or hotel manager for the best banks to exchange money. And don’t change too much at once: the Zimbabwean dollar is worthless outside of Zimbabwe.

You will need US dollars in cash for all major purchases, including admission to Victoria Falls National Park.

Finally, never use a credit card in Zimbabwe for anything!

You will be charged a fortune for this privilege, and you could end up paying several times the cash price!

MONEY (ZAMBIA)

The Zambian currency unit is the Zambian Kwacha, which is divided into 100 Ngwee.

Banknotes are issued in denominations of K10,000; 5,000; 1,000; 500; 200; 100 and 50.

There is no limit to the amount of currency you can bring into Zambia, but you must declare it when you enter the country.

Most visitors will find the exchange rate to be in their favor. US dollars, sterling and euros attract good rates at banks and exchange houses. Traveler’s checks (US dollars) are widely accepted.

Entrance to game reserves, etc. You can only pay in Kwacha.

Most hotels, restaurants, and large stores accept credit cards.

Most of the larger banks will advance local currency against a credit card.

Standard Chartered and Barclays banks have ATMs that accept Visa cards for cash.

Tipping is not recommended in Zambia. A service charge is included in the bill.

Haggle over prices at local markets, etc. it is perfectly acceptable.

HEALTH

Take a course of malaria tablets before visiting the Victoria Falls area, just to be on the safe side.

CRIME

Most of the people you meet here will be wonderful.

And they are willing to promote this area to tourists, so crime is usually very low.

But please don’t tempt fate by flaunting your superior wealth.

Leave your Rolex and diamond tiara at home, or at least keep them at your hotel.

Remember: this is an area of extreme poverty.

You must, you must, you must visit Victoria Falls! It is an unforgettable experience!

The history of question and answer sites

People will always have questions. It is the nature of the human condition. We love asking questions and more importantly we love answering, maybe it gives us a sense of purpose that we can advise others or maybe we just like to feel a sense of superiority.

Whatever the reason, they have become very popular, and what Facebook is is just a glorified Q&A site. There are hundreds of these sites offering expert and hobbyist solutions to everyday problems. From the mundane like “what can I have for lunch today?” to life-changing questions like “should I get a divorce?”

Some of these sites are well loved by their followers and used on a daily basis, some of these early examples of question and answer sites are very rare.

One of the first was Forum 2000, a very curious site that claimed to be run by artificial intelligence, although in later years it was recognized as a hoax.

The Hatatetron went live on January 15, 2002 at a time when many other Q&A sites were springing up. The Hatatetron ran on software written by its creator Safiire Arrowny and has gone through different incarnations since its release. The main difference from Hatatetron was that in addition to answering questions with its characters, known as “Haters”, it had a forum called the User Owned or UO Forum.

The evolution of this type of forum was a fluke and became an extension of the question and answer format. Haters who answered questions on the front page now came to life within the UO Forum, interacting with users who had become active in the community. The Hateatron boasted a community and readership of over 100 regular users, hosted an annual convention called Hateakon, and answered nearly 5,000 questions.

Sometime in early 2005, the Hatatetron Q&A portion was removed from the site’s front page for unpublished reasons. The rest of the site has since been taken down, though it is still occasionally updated with strange messages. An extreme version of the format perhaps, but it still cemented the importance of these websites on the public agenda.

One of the biggest Q&A sites in the UK is Interestingly or Answerbank which covers topics like News, Food, Fashion and Health. Users post as many questions as they want, and some post multiple links per week. Subscribers are encouraged to respond to multiple posts, and many questions have more than one answer.

If you haven’t tried one of these sites yet, they can be very interesting and informative, so why not give one a try?

Mobile App Development: Offers Great Prospects for Entrepreneurs

Teen Mobile App Developers

Do you know that there is an increase in the number of teen mobile app developers? Several large companies are encouraging the efforts of these young developers, regardless of their age and education. In 2012, a California teen developed a mobile app for Home Depot in a contest and won $10,500, which impressed a Facebook official and the company offered her an internship. Nearly seven months ago, Yahoo bought a news reading app, ‘Summly’, from a 12-year-old British teenager for tens of millions of dollars. The company has also hired him and plans to incorporate his algorithmic invention into its own mobile apps.

Entrepreneurship is a precious gift, something that combines passion, confidence, positivity, and ambition. A true entrepreneur is not discouraged by the prospect of failure and is willing to accept both ups and downs with the same positive spirit. It is remarkable that the younger generation, the architects of the future, have this fire in them to contribute something unique to society.

Teen app developers are not only getting jobs at big companies but are also carving a niche for themselves in the field of mobile app development by starting their own companies. Llyt is such a tech startup established by two Atlanta teens (ages 19 and 15) in 2012. The latest effort from this startup is an iOS app called Sketch’d, which is considered to be the world’s first iOS. app that allows people to draw anything, animate it, and share it with others as a looping video.

So, being a minor or lack of higher education is not an impediment to finding a lucrative career in the area of mobile application development. It is talent and motivation that matter most.

With the increasing use of smartphones, mobile apps and mobile app development are becoming an inevitable part of modern technology. Therefore, the need for mobile app developers is increasing at a higher rate. The prominent players in the smartphone market, including Apple and Google, are trying hard to attract app developers to their app store by providing some relaxation in their regulations. Many popular companies are eager to acquire mobile apps from talented app developers. They are not only looking for developers who can build custom mobile apps for different types of businesses, but also those who are talented in developing mobile web apps for various types of domains such as social media, medical, banking, and others.

Mobile app development: fertile ground for entrepreneurs

The latest global survey of freelancers by online staffing firm oDesk and Gen Y consulting firm, Millennial Branding, revealed that some 72 percent of those with regular jobs want to quit their jobs and work entirely for themselves. . Some 61 percent said they will leave their jobs within two years. According to the survey, the main reason for this is the prospect of flexibility and freedom, with 89 percent preferring to work by choosing their own workplace and hours rather than sticking to a strict corporate job.

Mobile app development work can surely provide the freedom and flexibility these professionals are looking for. Being highly portable, smartphones provide the opportunity for application developers to work with real-time data anywhere with the help of tools including Google Drive and Dropbox. Mobile app stores (eg Apple App Store, Google Play Store) allow app developers to publish their apps anytime from anywhere and earn a share of the revenue earned from sales with ease.

However, it is challenging to develop efficient mobile apps for various companies and publish them on the app stores using emerging technologies and following the guidelines of different smartphone companies. For example, Apple introduced the new iOS 7 that can bring a new mobile experience and greater ease of use. However, mobile apps designed for iOS 6 will not work well on iOS 7. You must develop new apps that are compatible with this platform. Apple has published a revised Developer License Agreement for application developers. Your App Store will reject those applications that violate this agreement. Despite the challenges involved in developing mobile apps for Apple iOS 7, entrepreneurs like the young teenagers mentioned at the beginning will not hesitate to push ahead with their innovations.

A recent Nielsen report highlights the fact that the majority of the 120 million smartphone users in the United States use a shopping or retail app at least once a month. Businesses looking to tap into new revenue streams will be interested in having their own mobile apps, given that today’s consumers practically live on tablets and smartphones. This says a lot about the perspectives of entrepreneurs who are dedicated to the development of custom mobile applications.
