Can I still heal? (3)

That influential, courageous, favored, and successful army general who came to the prophet Elisha had everything going for him, but sadly he suffered from leprosy. There was a “but” in his life. So many people you see today looking great have hidden and biting illnesses and problems that only God, their doctors, and perhaps their close family members know about. Yes, they dress very well, ride well in cars, live in mansions and occupy enviable positions, but something: diseases, problems, habits are devouring them from the inside. They are like this great Syrian army officer: “Naaman, the commander of the king of Aram’s army, was a great man in the eyes of his lord and highly respected; for through him the LORD had given victory to Aram. And he was a mighty warrior, but he was a leper. ” 2 Kings 5: 1. Because of his position as a successful army commander, he was very influential and powerful. He had led his country to many victorious battles. He was also well liked by his boss, the commander-in-chief; the king of Syria and his people. But this leprosy was a drag, a stain and a pain in his life and in all these achievements. In fact, illness can spoil your joy and accomplishments. What is that “but” in your life that has refused to go away? It will be removed today in the name of Jesus!

Leprosy is not just another disease. No! Isolate and destroy. It is a terrible, chronic and contagious disease that affects the nerves of the extremities, the skin, the lining of the nose and the upper respiratory tract. It causes light or red patches on the skin with reduced sensation, numbness and weakness in the hands and feet and can also lead to disability if not treated in time. And the worst thing is that it has a long incubation period, on average 5 to 7 years, and is the most complex and chronic of all human bacterial diseases. Before it manifests itself, it would have caused considerable damage inside the person. So, too, lepers are stigmatized and isolated from society. That is why there are colonies of lepers in many places. Nobody wants to leave or associate with lepers. In biblical times, it was even worse. As a leper you have to tie a bell and also shout that you are unclean while walking to avoid human contact. They were also left outside the camp or city (leper colony) until they were cured or died. This army general was very lucky to keep his position and his favor because he did not live in a place like Israel where leprosy was like a semi death sentence.

Is your situation like leprosy? Is it consuming you gradually and constantly? You groan and suffer in silence. Yes, it may not be a disease, but there is something that is secretly, deeply and progressively draining your life and has become unsolvable. And like most lepers, he has decided to hope for the worst or at least endure the damage already done. Listen now, something miraculous will happen to you today. Naaman was there until he met the man of God, the prophet Elisha, and his story immediately changed. It was just a common little slave who linked this great general to the divine source that ultimately healed him. Most of the time our salvation comes from where and when we least expected. These few words that you are reading now are about to introduce you to something that will permanently change your life. Elisha told Naaman to go dive seven times into that muddy and dirty Jordan to receive his healing. A) Yes? After a little hesitation and discussion, the general finally gave up his pride, his position, his rank, his knowledge, history, and tradition and obeyed. And what was the result? Immediately, his body was transmuted into that of a small child. The leprosy disappeared completely. All the years of shame, pain, drainage, tears were gone! Yours is also leaving today in the mighty name of Jesus!

Have you already written your will?
King Hezekiah was in an even worse situation. He was terminally ill and God himself told him to write his will because he was about to die. My God! But the man refused. Yes, you can refuse to die. You can refuse to fail. You can deny that sickness and disease permanently inhabit your body. You can refuse to allow this situation to continue in your family. Yes, I always reject everything that does not correspond to my destiny and God’s promise in my life. He ignored the message and the messenger, faced the wall and through prayer forced God to change that decision. Wow! So, can men also change God’s decisions? There is no limit to the feats of those who have faith. For them everything is possible. Yes, you heard me right, I said ALL THINGS. And all things mean all things, including your condition. That decision was changed, more years were added to Hezekiah, and he too got a son who will sit on his throne after him. Remember you didn’t have any when you were told to pack. You can get everything you want from God if you know what to do. You may have or are about to give up. Please do not do it! There is a solution. Jesus will heal you today. Others are already receiving theirs.
