Five inexpensive ways to make a powder room glam!

The powder room is often a discreet and forgotten space within a home. This modest room is usually small and very close to the main traffic flow of the house and with so many visitors passing through your door on a weekly basis, it is important to give this space the attention it deserves when it comes to design.

It may not feel as important as the master bathroom or guest bathroom, but think again! This small space is usually one of the most used rooms in a house. That said, since it’s not the master bathroom, it’s important to create a room upgrade budget that allows for the end result to be glamorous without the price of a complete remodel.

As a designer, I figured out my own path to creating a stunning powder room makeover on a budget and have broken it down into five main categories. The five areas of my focus are lighting, mirrors, paint, flooring, and accessories. Let’s take a look at each one.

Turning on! Lighting consideration is one of my favorite areas to focus on (full article on lighting will be posted next week) in all of my designs. So often overlooked and hardly ever given the same attention as cabinets and tile, this area of consideration can turn any ordinary room into something eye-catching at a relatively low price. If your budget only allows for one upgrade, I would seriously consider adding a unique lamp, pendant light or sconce to your space. Many times there is no need to upgrade or move the electrical system, so a simple change of accessories may be possible. Lighting designed for bathrooms has come a long way and the designs now available are so striking that this fixture can often become the focal point of the room.

Mirrors! Just like the chandelier, the mirror you add to your bathroom can make a big statement and add to the overall feel the designer is trying to create. Gone are the days of one size fits all and in their place are a plethora of shapes, sizes, finishes and themes.

Paint! Paint is inexpensive, provides instant gratification, and with a little creativity, you can turn a tired old room into a fresh modern space. Getting creative using multiple colors or experimenting with glitter is one way to achieve glamour. Hiding and moody can make a space dramatic, while going light and white can make it feel larger and more welcoming. If you want to go a step further, try using techniques that give the room the appearance of wainscoting or washed barn wood. The possibility offered by painting is truly endless.

Flat! Like painting, the possibilities are endless. My two favorite flooring upgrades include the use of tile or luxury vinyl flooring throughout the space. Mosaics are available in every imaginable shape, size, color, and pattern. If you want to create a flare, try adding hexagonal tiles, planks, Spanish-inspired, cement, or patterned products. Do you want less commitment? LVF flooring is quick to install, available in many sizes, colors, and patterns, and can be easily changed if your style needs to change over time.

Accessories! Often when people are not happy with their vanity, they assume that a change in the cabinets and counters is the only solution to update the look. While in many cases this will help modernize a space, in many others quick fixes like lights, mirrors, and paint can give the homeowner all the impact they need. When more is needed, a great place to look for high-impact, low-budget design is in fixtures. I often use accessories to create a fresh look and change up the space. Take the floating shelf, it is available in many sizes and stains, it can be rustic or modern, it is easy to hang and adds style to any bathroom. Rugs, towels, towel racks, flowers, candles, and wall art are all great to use to enhance the overall look and glam factor of the space.

Vanities may be small, and the budget to beautify them may be small, but with a little creativity, most vanities can be turned into something worth talking about!

WWE Judgment Day 2009 PPV Review

From Rosemont, Ill. Original air date: 05/17/09

Umaga d. CM Punk, Samoan Spike–pin (***1/2).

So why does Umaga beat Pepsiman anyway? The hometown rule applies here anyway, as Punk gets the job done, though otherwise it was a pretty good start with plenty of nifty spots like G2S countered on a Samoan drop. I don’t understand WWE’s obsession that his talent ALWAYS lose in his hometown, unless you’re Jim Ross then you’re embarrassed on a grand scale.

ECW Champion Christian d. Jack Swagger, handful of stockings — pin (***1/2).

I really enjoyed this match and loved it when Christian jumped off the top rope over Swagger and ran the other way haha… classic Christian. The end came when Swagger went for the rending powerbomb, but Xian turned, went for the kill switch, as Swagger walked away, then Xian rolled up, with a handful of FTW tights and to continue the feud. I guess Christian is the dirtiest new player in the game. It’s kind of a lame ending though. Too bad Christian isn’t “popular” enough to have a clean win.

Meanwhile, Edge and Chavo argue. Edge told Chavo to do something about the transvestite who called his aunt a pig. Edge is amazing and one of the best actors in WWE. He can make a mediocre promotion amazing by the way he delivers it.

John Morrison D. Shelton Benjamin, Starship Pain — Pine (***).

Sadly, Charlie Haas has given up on the spoofing trick. While I’m excited to see the greatest tag team in the world assembled, The Great Charli > WGTT. Regardless, this was a good match, but it was missing something. Maybe it was the crowd; they didn’t seem to be buying Nitro as a face. Anything great things in the end as both guys hit some beautiful spots and in the end Nitro wins with his indy flippy spinny move. Both guys need more game time; they can put on a great show.

The comedy segment saw The Miz square off at Jack Alfonso Soriano at ringside and mentions Jannetty (which was a good reference), a bunch of Ducks, Chicago Cubs and SMH. Then, strangely, Santino saves Soriano and calls him The Fiz. The two funniest fighters on Raw against each other? They should keep that going. A Miz-Santino fight would be priceless.

Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio d. Chris Jericho in shorts, 619 — pin (***).

Jericho is getting stale, he should go back to his smarmy and arrogant ways from his WCW days. Anyway, Jericho throws Mysterio around the ring like a rag doll and Rey is so small compared to Jericho, I don’t think Y2J can make this feud work because of it. Regardless, the match would have been average if Jericho hadn’t made the promo with the ‘guarantee’ that there wouldn’t be a 619; he gave the party a story. And usually he hates Mysterio’s matches, because they’re so formulaic, but that was a good match, thanks to Jericho. Rey is a total shell of his old self, though. The announcers talk about him being a “high flyer” but he hardly does anymore. He should retire to be able to walk in 10 years.

Flying Batista d. WWE Champion Randy Orton without hair, attacking the referee — DQ (*1/2).

Finally, a potty break match. Orton may be fine, but he needs someone to help him, and that man is not Batista. The same goes for Batista. They just cancel each other out. Regardless, there was considerable RKO chanting and this was not a pro-DAVE crowd. This match just sucked the energy out of the show. Both types are like video game characters. Repetitive movements, awkward animations, excessive normal mapping, and sometimes a victim of lag. If Orton’s finishing move was a headlock, he would win every match. The end came when Orton deliberately got himself disqualified, attacking the referee in a cheap ending. Those kinds of finishings make you wonder why he didn’t slap the ref two seconds into the game and walk away. After the game, Legacy went down to attack Big Dave, but a 90-year-old man manages to save him. Wow. Damn Flair, stay back.

John Cena with odds to win d. The Big Show, attitude adjustment — pin

.

I love how it looks like Cena is about to cry when he’s looking down. Cena Sucks’ singing is much louder as it should be. And if I had a dollar for every time they said “No one evokes more emotion outside of the WWE Universe than John Cena.” and “The World’s Greatest Athlete.” Just for this match I could buy WWE 100 times over. And man, it’s amazing how quickly and severely this PPV went from a possible PPV of the year to a complete nap fest. Anyway, in the end, Cena overcomes adversity and by God I’m so inspired! Miracles happen! Yes, a boring game. So if Cena is Superman, does that make having a good match with Big Show the kryptonite of him?

Edge World Champion d. Jeff Hardy, DDT from top rope — passer (***).

This has been a show where the champions come out first. The end came when Matt Hardy interfered and attacked Jeff, Cowboy Bob Orton style with an arm in a cast. This was a good match until Matt Hardy came out. Judgment Day ends and there is no punk or cash, just credits. I guess the hometown rule is still in effect. Still Edge is still the champion, so all is right with the world.

Man of the Night: Miz – He’s certainly upped his game recently and I love it. We’ve needed a “get under your skin” heel in the worst way; it’s so annoying and yet you can’t stop watching it because it takes trash talk to a whole new level.

Death Threat of the Night: Flair – Seriously, he should stay retired. I hope this is something unique and that he doesn’t fight again.

Best match of the night: Xian v. Swagger – great game.

Worst match of the night: Dinner v. Show – boring party.

Jobber of the Night: Punk losing two consecutive PPVs. I guess CM Punk didn’t drink his Natural Pepsi before the match.

Squash of the Night: So Legacy has been completely dismantled by a 39-year-old non-wrestler and a 60-year-old retired wrestler. Good writing, WWE. The only time I liked Legacy was when Orton kissed Stephanie because he didn’t expect it. Otherwise, Legacy has suffered from bad writing, poor promotions, and horrible matches.

Point of the Night Burnt: Mysterio took what looked like a bad knockdown, although he looked good afterwards, but for a second I thought he was lost.

Surprise of the night: Edge-Hardy goes last and Punk does not charge.

Over: The meeting with Matt Hardy was unnecessary.

Homo-erotic moment: Cole and Lawler acting surprised when Cena won; “He went for the impossible…and somehow he did it!” / “Win Without Fear!” / “Cena has turned a lot of people into believers tonight!”

Fuck the Smarks: No Punk, and a pointless encounter with Matt. WWE is dragging some of these stories too long.

Quotable Quotes: “That chair is always dangerous!” — Michael Cole during the WWE title match.

Why podcasting may be better than other forms of marketing

Are you familiar with podcasting online marketing strategy? This is truly revolutionary stuff, and using it in your business will prove to be worth your while. You won’t want to give up on this strategy, especially if you’ve never tried it before. If you’re currently stuck on some social marketing strategies that aren’t producing for you, now is the time to consider using podcasting in your business.

I’m sure you’ve probably heard of podcasts, and you’ve probably thought that YouTube would be a better idea for marketing. But this is not necessarily true. There are some people who get better results from lower traffic sites than they do from YouTube.

I want you to know that if YouTube doesn’t produce for you, don’t automatically assume that other sites that don’t get much traffic like YouTube won’t produce for you, because this isn’t necessarily true. This is how many people feel when they don’t experience the immediate traffic they expected to see on YouTube.

But don’t let it take away your hopes. Podcasting can be something that can increase your sales and profit. But you need to even know how to podcast before you start. To get started, you’ll need a few simple things to help you get started with this traffic strategy.

You need a microphone, audio recording device or software on your computer, an MP3 editing device (such as Audacity), and YOUR own voice. Never turn to “text to speech” software that sounds like a robot. This is something you definitely want to avoid.

I have used a few in the past just to test the quality, and they all fell short of my expectations. However, there was some really cool software that I bought called “Natural Reader”. You will want to purchase “voices” of your site when you purchase the software. This is the closest I’ve found to an actual human voice speaking, but it still needs some work. But using your own voice should be your #1 choice anyway.

When it comes to the length of your podcasts, strive to make them longer than 10 minutes. You will find that 10 minutes go by very quickly when you speak without thinking. If you don’t like typing and then translating through your voice, speak naturally. All your listeners want is the information, so give it to them. Just make sure you’re clear and consistent.

These are the things you need to do if you want a profitable business and a lifestyle you can rely on for years to come. Incorporate many different marketing strategies and definitely include podcasts as one of your social marketing strategies as well. It fits into this category. And be proactive with it. You don’t have much time to waste every day. Either you want your business to be a success or not. So keep this in mind today.

Good luck using podcasts to market your website today.

What diet is good for a marathon?

Nutrition is often an overlooked element of marathon training. The right nutrition plan will make those long training runs look so much easier!

Food is your source of energy. All foods are made up of carbohydrates, protein, fat, and fiber. Carbohydrates are linked to energy production, complete proteins are linked to tissue repair and building, fat provides fuel for the body, and fiber is fiber.

Most foods will have trace amounts of all of these macronutrients, but each is usually rich in one. ALL are necessary in your diet.

carbs

Your body burns carbohydrates more efficiently than fat or protein. Consider increasing your carbohydrate intake to 60-70% of your daily food intake.

Runners benefit the most from the amount of carbohydrates stored in the body. Carbohydrates produce more energy per unit of oxygen consumed than fats. What this means is that you get more energy to run when your body burns carbohydrates than when your body burns fat or protein. Because oxygen is often the limiting factor in long duration events, your body will find it easier to use the energy source that requires the least amount of oxygen per kilocalorie of energy produced. (energy is measured in kilocalories)

Your body makes energy by converting carbohydrates into glucose. When you exercise at a moderate pace, carbohydrates provide 40 to 50 percent of your energy requirement. As you start to run harder, carbohydrates provide a higher percentage of your energy needs. It’s hard for your body to break down protein and fat into glucose to provide energy. Therefore, your body first burns carbohydrates. The harder you work, the harder it is for your body to spend energy breaking down protein and fat. That energy could be used to propel you forward in the race.

The best sources of carbohydrates for your marathon training

Carbohydrate needs are commonly based on the runner’s body size and activity level. Runners who engage in exercise of low intensity and moderate duration require 5 to 7 g of carbohydrates per kilogram of body weight. By contrast, those who engage in long-duration, high-intensity exercise require 7 to 12 g of carbohydrates per kilogram of body weight.

All carbohydrates are not created equal.

The best sources of carbohydrates in your diet

  • Fruit,
  • vegetable,
  • Integral rice,
  • enriched whole grain breads,
  • whole grain cereals,
  • oatmeal,
  • Beans,
  • vegetables
  • sweet potatoes

(Note: cheetos, cookies, and tortilla chips are not listed.)

fat

The next macronutrient the body will use during exercise is fat.

Fat is not the enemy. The fat created from an excess of cheetos is. (Remember that excess of any macronutrient (carbs, protein, fat) is converted to fat.) For moderate exercise, approximately half of the total energy expenditure is derived from the metabolism of free fatty acids. If the event lasts for more than an hour, the body can mainly use fat for energy. The use of fat as fuel depends on the duration of the event and the condition of the runner. Trained athletes use fat for energy faster than untrained athletes. (This is one of the long-term adaptation mechanisms in marathon training.)

The best sources of fat in your diet

  • walnuts
  • Seeds
  • nut butter
  • greasy fish
  • fish oil supplements
  • flax seed oil
  • Safflower oil
  • canola oil
  • sunflower oil
  • corn oil
  • Lawyers
  • egg yolks

protein

After carbohydrates and fats, proteins provide the body with energy. You also need protein to repair muscle tissue that is damaged during exercise. While exercise can increase an athlete’s need for protein, most Americans tend to eat more than the recommended amounts of protein.

A protein intake of 10 to 12 percent of total calories is sufficient. Most authorities recommend that endurance athletes consume between 1.2 and 1.4 grams of protein per kg of body weight per day. Remember, extra protein is stored as fat.

It’s doubtful that you need extra protein, which is likely because you need to be more conscious of where you get your protein.

Women trying to lose weight by cutting calories often forgo healthy protein sources for bagels. Don’t get me started on my “bagels are empty calories” rant; For now, all I’ll say is that protein-rich foods include lean pork and beef, poultry, fish, eggs, beans, tofu, and low-fat dairy. Include lean sources of protein in your marathon training diet.

The best sources of protein in your diet

  • lean pork and beef
  • Poultry
  • Fish
  • eggs
  • Low-fat dairy products
  • Broccoli
  • Beans
  • Corn

fiber

Fiber helps the body stay healthy and can prevent heart disease. Getting enough can be easier than you think.

Soluble fiber, found in oats, barley, beans, apples, oranges, and other fruits and vegetables, can help prevent heart disease by lowering LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol levels. Set a goal to eat 20 to 35 grams of fiber every day. The best way to do this is to eat a wide variety of whole grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, fruits, and vegetables.

Fiber also keeps the bowels regular. This is key to avoid discomfort in your long workouts.

The best sources of fiber in your diet

Work more fiber into your eating plan by adding vegetables to casseroles and casseroles. Add oatmeal to meatloaf, breads, and cookies. Fruit in cereals, as a snack and in salads are other options.

Pig farming in Kenya

Pig farming is one of the most lucrative business ventures. Those who have dedicated themselves to this activity have reaped good profits. Pigs can be raised as a small business to provide food and nutrition for the family, or expanded to become a commercial enterprise for profit. Pig farming is relatively simple compared to other forms of farming.

feeds

You can feed pigs almost anything. Most people just let their pigs roam urban areas looking for scraps. However, this is illegal and is not the most effective way to raise pigs. You can feed pigs kitchen scraps from home, restaurants, and hotels. You can also get commercial feeds to help speed growth and maturation.

market

There is no shortage of market for hogs in the country. The best time to sell the pigs is during the high tourist season because the demand is very high. There are also many local butcher shops, especially around Nairobi, who buy pigs for slaughter. Farmers Choice, the largest player in the market with a 70% market share, can make an agreement with you to supply them with pigs for slaughter, provided your pigs meet the required quality.

Profit

You can buy young piglets in Ksh. 3,000 and take up to six months to mature, after which you can sell them for prices starting at Ksh. 25,000 to Ksh. 40,000. As you can see it is quite profitable. The amount of inputs required is low and manageable. Pig farming is a good business venture if you want to recoup your investments in a short period.

products

Some of the products that come from hog farming include pork, ham, bacon, sausages, pies, rolls, cuts, suet, and lard. Pig manure is also used as a fertilizer. With such a diversified product range, it is not difficult to find a market for pigs.

potential challenges

One of the challenges a new pig farmer might face is sourcing the right commercial feeds. You can do some research on this field at the Farmers Choice show farm, the Internet, and other farmers. For others, the main challenge is religious and cultural obstacles. Some religions and cultures prohibit the consumption of pork and other pork products because pigs are unclean animals. However, pigs are not as dirty as people think they are. If raised properly, pigs can be as clean as any other livestock.

Divorce recovery and early dating: When is it okay to start dating again?

It is very hot, but very little light is generated by asking when we should resume appointments. Some say wait a year. Some say as soon as possible to get over the divorce. Some say don’t date if the divorce isn’t final. Some say to do it if the marriage is over, regardless of whether the judge has signed the papers. Many religions say not to date until after the divorce is final. Everyone has an opinion. No one has a one-size-fits-all answer.

Early dating: what is it and is it a good thing?

Early dating can be a very powerful part of your recovery from divorce.

Early dating occurs when you start dating again before or shortly after the divorce is legally final. Early dating is marked by large amounts of “baggage” and attachments to your ex and the life you shared that have yet to be dissolved or removed.

Whether it’s a “good” thing or a “bad” thing depends on what you want dating to accomplish for you. Generally speaking, if you want to date to enjoy your new found freedom from being attached to your ex, it may be more enjoyable. If, on the contrary, you want to start dating to provoke a response from your ex or to place your friends and family, it will end badly.

Some say that you should wait until your marriage is over. Sounds good, but what does it really mean for a marriage to be “over”?

when exactly It is an ended marriage?

Any marriage that is over is actually over long before it is formally over.

A marriage ends the moment one partner looks in the mirror feeling calm, sober, well-rested, and introspective, and privately declares to himself, “I can’t do this anymore. I have to go.” This happens long before any judge officially declares a marriage over by signing the divorce papers.

It also sets the clock ticking for one to make the decision to start dating again. At the back of everyone’s mind is the question, “How can I be sure it’s a good idea right now?”

One says “Leave” Another says “Do not leave” – Will they decide please?

Don’t count on your friends and relatives to be very helpful.

When seeking advice, you should talk to people you can trust. The obvious choices are your friends and family. You assume they will have your best interests at heart. But do they? can they? Probably not.

Friends and relatives are only human. By necessity they filter their advice through their own experience, hopes, fears, and belief systems. The result? A jumble of conflicting advice that reflects your fears and fantasies. they they would have if they were in your situation. In a word, it is useless.

Bottom line: don’t pay too much attention to what other people advise you to do. His advice, well-intentioned as it is, is a statement of their diary for you Invariably, his agenda is different from yours.

Your job is to be clear about what its it’s the agenda and expectations and not sabotaging them by trying to move the relationship-building process forward too quickly.

Three early dating rules to live by

Early dating doesn’t exist without some potential problems, especially impatience.

The 12 to 18 months before and after the divorce is final are sacred! Treat them like a gift from the relationship gods. The goal of this time of transition is to restore balance, personal power, perspective, self-love, and stability in your life.

The important thing is not what you dobut that you whose do. Three “rules” will help make your first dating experience a success.

Rule #1: Slow things down Sooooooooooooooooo Down: During the first 6 months of dating, limit what you plan and talk about with your partner to no more than 7 days in the future. For the next 6 months, she restricts what he plans and talks with her partner to no more than 30 days in the future.

Now is not the time to imagine living “happily ever after” with any. It’s it is the time to rediscover yourself and enjoy your new freedom.

Rule #2: DO NOT sign anything for 12-18 months: Do not sign any legal or financial documents with your partner for at least 18 months. No marriage licenses, no car titles, no loan applications, no home mortgages, no joint checking accounts, NOTHING AT ALL! You will have the rest of your life for that after the shock and readjustments to your life after the divorce have worn off. Just don’t do it in the first 18 months after your divorce is final.

Rule #3: Don’t get pregnant yet: Do not get pregnant or get your partner pregnant. Just don’t do it. Now is not the time to start a new family. having a child will No miraculously give meaning to her life after the divorce. It’s Will it seriously destroys your efforts to restore balance, personal power, perspective, self-love, and stability in your life.

So what is the point?

It’s never a good time to start dating for the wrong reasons.

Asking “When should I start dating again?” is the wrong question. The most helpful question is, “Why do I want to date again?”

Are you dating to enjoy your newfound freedom from partner attachments, OR are you feeding and strengthening your attachments to the past?

Early dating allows you to begin the transition from being in a relationship and married to being single and single, NOT back in a relationship and married. The early dating is No a vehicle to find your next committed relationship.

(Now, a word from your attorney: The last question to ask before you start dating again is whether your attorney believes that dating at this time will compromise your divorce case. Obviously, if you will then honor your attorney’s advice and will wait until it is safe to do so.)

This is the time in your life to enjoy having “cast off the shackles of an unhappy marriage.” Use it to enjoy your first step in life after divorce.

Community Energy Conservation – Find ways to help conserve energy in your community

Community energy conservation efforts can go a long way with short changes to make a big difference. Community leaders can really lead the way by hosting public events that encourage residents to follow energy conservation practices. Local ordinances can be formed or rewritten to encourage conservation of local public resources and provide avenues for residents to participate in resource conservation, recycling, and reuse of materials.

Local communities are working together to provide recycling centers for public use. They can review building codes to promote environmentally sustainable technology so that new and remodeled buildings become healthy buildings. Efforts can be made to avoid excessive duplication, by not allowing strip malls on every corner to cover the land and add to urban sprawl, through zoning laws that are more friendly to the environment than to builders.

As the population spreads, so does the impact of contamination and the potential for permanent damage. Local communities can work together to protect the environment and native species from this overload and damage. Public transportation systems can be improved and brought to your remote communities. Carpool parking lots can be zoned into land management and encourage carpooling. Zoning can be planned for maximum use in minimum areas to preserve the landscape, and parks are wonderful additions for local residents. Renewable and recyclable building materials can be encouraged. The way land is developed and built has a major impact on local resources and natural habitats. Careful planning can help offset the impact and promote conservation efforts.

By providing local resources, local farmer’s markets, and local recreation venues, overall energy consumption is reduced and local businesses benefit. Even utilities can be run locally, with some communities being built with a goal of zero energy cost, using area-wide solar and wind power systems. Lighting in buildings and on streets can be retrofitted to be efficient, solar powered, and otherwise conserving of energy resources. In areas of high population, parks help alleviate the urban heat island problem, as well as being available for local recreation and open space.

Community energy conservation needs to increase awareness of the ecosystem and encourage new advances in conservation techniques and materials to be used. Small changes made by everyone can lead to big results for conserving natural resources like water, electricity, and natural gas. Companies can encourage employees to follow conservative practices both at work and at home, such as turning off unnecessary lights and turning off machinery and computers when they are not working on them.

Towns and cities can actively solicit land donations for park space. They may hold public events and contests, conservation events, and work with local redevelopment companies to provide public access to new conservation ideas and projects for residential conservation. Community energy conservation programs can be implemented and advertised to assist with low-income and residential improvements with the goal of lowering energy bills. There is some government help available for the elderly or disabled. Again, advertising for these programs is essential for this to really work.

history of graffiti art

The first roots of graffiti began to appear in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the late 1960s, when a couple of young people began tagging corn bread and cool earl all over town until almost everywhere you saw corn bread and cool earl written on it. on the walls and windows of trains. etc. Soon this radical form of expression known as the art of graffiti captured the attention of the community and the local press.

A few years later, after the Cornbread and Cool Earl movement, it was noticed that many graffiti artists were slowly appearing on the streets of Manhattan, but it was not until the year 1971 that the New York Times published an article about a young graffiti artist. the name of TAKI 183, a boy who had traveled all over the city capturing everyone’s attention due to the fact that you would literally see his name tagged all over the city.

Taki 183 was employed as a foot courier and often moved around and dumped around town, something he took advantage of by tagging his name everywhere he would be on walls, trains, windows, cars, etc. But while he was the first graffiti artist to be recognized for his art, he wasn’t the first to start writing in New York, where many others before him. But his fame opened the doors to many other young artists who would emerge from the streets of New York.

Soon enough, graffiti art became a way for young children to express themselves by tagging their names on walls or trains using anything from paint markers, spray paints, etc. Little by little, the art of graffiti began to move from the streets to the underground and until it became very competitive. that graffiti artist would write their names as many times as possible.

After a graffiti artist discovered that they could paint on trains by sneaking into train yards. something that lessened the possibility of being caught, so they began to work more on detailed pieces called bombs or bombing, a popular form of graffiti that still exists today.

Once the trains started showing up with many kinds of colors and tagging the community started protesting and the trains were cleaned up every time someone painted them after the graffiti artists realized there was no point in painting them they stopped and they moved the art back to the streets where it has remained to date.

But graffiti did not stay only in New York or Philadelphia, it quickly caught the attention of many boys and girls from all over the world from one continent to another.
