Impact of SEO services on business

Today, people start their day by reviewing and searching for content online. People connect through search engines more than using their browser. 93% of online experiences these days start with a search engine. The search engine matches the person’s search word with the most relevant web page. 75% of that 93% of people don’t even get past the first page. Research has shown that there are 6,586,013,574 searches per day.

Search engine optimization is done to rank your website high in the search engine results pages (SERPs).

Some of the best SEO practices are:
1. Make sure your website is user friendly and SEO friendly.
2. Create unique and engaging content.
3. Use your main keyword in various tags on your website.
4. Share your content on different social media platforms.
5. Implement tools like Google Search Engine, Google Analytics, etc. to help you crawl your website.

Why should we do SEO for our website?
Once you create your website, you need to drive traffic to your website. You can do this through social media, email marketing, SEO services, etc. Through social media and email, you can target a smaller number of audience than with SEO services.

Your website may be attractive, but until and unless it is SEO friendly, it will not show up in search engines. Having an online business and not receiving visitors is an inconvenience in itself. Letting traffic, leads, and sales slip through your fingers is not good for your business.

Research has shown that local searches lead 50% of mobile visitors to visit stores in one day, and 18% of local searches lead to a sale in one day. By doing SEO on your website you will increase your website visitors which in fact will increase your sales. SEO services are one of the best services that digital marketing has provided to local businesses and entrepreneurs.

So, I have come to the conclusion that these days just having your business online is not going to get you any sales. You need to make your website aware of your audience through social media, emails and SEO services to increase your site visitors which will indirectly lead to sales. You should also do advanced SEO to get your site to rank higher and maintain that ranking while competing with other websites. A good SEO score will make your site rank first, while a penalty will lower your SEO score, which will affect your site’s ranking.

The easiest way to paint your kitchen cabinets like a pro

How To Paint Kitchen Cabinets – Easy Guide For Weekend Warriors And DIY Hobbyists

We always suggest hiring a professional to do the work for you for multiple reasons including experience and the assurance of quality work! But for those who want to know how to paint kitchen cabinets without a professional sprayer, here’s how you can get professional-looking results for under $200.

How to Achieve Professional Results When Painting Your Kitchen Cabinets

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about one of our Facebook posts where I painted the walls and cabinets in our kitchen. Most people are curious and want to know how to paint kitchen cabinets and how much it costs to make them look like new.

Our house is very old and so are our closets. It didn’t bother us at first, but eventually we got tired of seeing that ugly veneer look, so we decided it was time for a makeover.

It’s not very difficult to paint over veneer, it just needs the right prep work. If you hire a professional, I’d suggest trying to do as much as you can yourself, like removing the doors and hardware and maybe sanding them down lightly with a 220-grit sanding block. A light scratch will suffice (imagine you’re cleaning a window). That will save you a few bucks. But if you decide to do it on your own, here are some tips on how to paint kitchen cabinets and get amazing and long-lasting results.

Preparation when painting kitchen cabinets

After removing the doors (or just masking off the hinges), lightly sand or roughen the surfaces to be painted with a 220-grit sanding block. Use a type of degreaser such as Windex or Zep Citrus Degreaser.

You then have 2 options: you can either use 220 grit sandpaper and lightly roughen the surfaces or use Krud Kutter-Gloss Off, which you can wipe clean and let sit for 10 minutes. Your surfaces will be tarnished without sanding.

Your next step is to prime the surfaces with the appropriate primer. I used one coat of “INSL-X Stix” which is an acrylic urethane. You can find it online or at your local Benjamin Moore dealer. Check with your local hardware store.

Using a good quality paint will help you get the best possible finish. I suggest using Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd. It is very easy to work with and dries to a hard, durable finish.

Using a 2-inch nylon brush, start cutting around the hardware (if you didn’t remove the doors) and anywhere your Whizz™ Roller won’t reach. Next, use your Whizz™ roller to apply your ALKYD glaze. Try to paint in the same direction as your grain (if your cabinet has a faux wood pattern). Let it dry overnight and repeat. You can hang the doors now, but keep in mind that although the polish will dry overnight, it still takes 30 days to fully cure, so be careful and try to avoid rubbing before that 30 days.

Forum Marketing Tips: 3 Tips for Small Businesses to Profit from Subtle Forum Promotion

Forum marketing is definitely a free method of marketing your business. In fact, this is one of the reasons why forum marketing is so popular with small businesses. If you have recently started a home business or have a small business and need a target audience, forum marketing is one of the best options you have. How do you start? Here are some helpful tips:

Tip #1: Find the right forum. Forum marketing is effective only if you target the right customers. You will find your target audience in forums that are relevant to your line of business or product or service. Therefore, it is essential to find the right forum to market your small business.

Tip #2: A signature line is a must. A signature line consists of 2-3 lines of text that appear with each of your posts in a forum. For your forum marketing strategy to be effective, your signature line should contain your name, a short tag line, and your website URL. This will help your target audience link to your website with ease.

Tip #3: Stay involved. Once you are registered or registered in a forum, you must participate in the exchange of information. This is extremely important, otherwise it will become an “out of sight – out of mind” situation. The more consistent you are with your forum posts, the higher your visibility will be. The more visible you and your signature line are, the more traffic to your website.

Forum promotion is an effective internet marketing method and if you follow the tips you can get huge volumes of traffic to your website without spending a dime.

Do screaming kids drive you crazy? Four rules to help you stay sane!

I often hear parents say, “I just ignore Jr. when he has a fit or yells.”

Although there may be times when this is appropriate, it is not when Jr. is under 5 years old! Why? Because your child needs to be trained in proper and acceptable behavior. Yelling to get your way is not appropriate or acceptable! If your child is screaming to get something, there are reasons why he is doing it and I’m warning you that he may not like it.

First, your child has been taught to yell. That’s right, he taught. I know it’s not nice and I know you didn’t do it on purpose, but bear with me…it’s true, you taught him to yell! As babies begin to gain their independence, they develop personal tastes for food, people, their environment, and even situations. In other words, they begin to know what they want in life. The problem? They have a limited number of ways to communicate what they want because they have not yet mastered the language. So what do they do? They wave their arms, stamp their feet, point, make noise, and when that doesn’t work, they come together and let out a blood-curdling scream. Oh!

What is your job?

Guess what??? Mom comes running and often dad and sister too! Then the child screams more. If they want something else? They scream again. The problem is that if he reacts to this shout by moving faster, he will temporarily stop. It will stop until the child decides that he wants something else. In reality, reacting by moving faster will make the screams worse! Oof again, right? The child will condition you to move a little faster and then? Then he begins to anticipate the child’s needs so that he doesn’t scream at all. Does the word servant come to mind here? Wrong! Soon enough, the child starts yelling at everything and sees that it works much better than the new language he is learning, so he yells instead of talking! Oh! Next thing you know, mom and dad are yelling at each other to stop yelling. Sounds familiar?

Do you want to know the rules so that the madness stops? (see definition of madness here)

Rule #1 Don’t ignore it.

This is the number one thing I hear parents say they do. It is your job as a parent to teach and coach the child’s own behavior. If you ignore the cries of disgust, the child doesn’t know the difference between acceptable and unacceptable behavior. Children need to know the limits if you want happy, independent and responsible children. Do you see happy people screaming to get their way? Only unhappy adults do that! If you really want your children to grow up to respect other people (including you), you need to teach them “why” yelling is disrespectful to others. They need the “why” behind the discipline. Train them not to yell, and then give them the reason why they shouldn’t yell. Remember to speak at their level. You could say, “Other people don’t want to hear you scream, their ears hurt. You need to learn to control your emotions and make yourself happy. We all need to respect each other’s rights in order to get along.” What you are really doing is teaching them to master themselves. It’s a young lesson in self-control. Mom and dad can ignore the yelling and bashing, but do we all have to put up with your kid’s yelling? Ignore is not the answer.

How do you do it?

Now that you know why you should teach your child not to yell, how do you do it? Tell the child in a calm, level voice to stop raising their voice. Put your index finger firmly over his mouth and place it somewhere out of the way. In our home we use the bottom step of our ladder. The child should sit on the step until he is ready to ask in a friendly voice what he wants. The child is always in control of the time frame. It is his decision to stop yelling and ask nicely. As a parent, you are there for guidance. You are simply making it inconvenient for them to yell. This is an incentive for them to change their own bad behavior and prevents power struggles. If he gets up from the step and is still screaming… take him back and sit him there over and over again until he gets it. If he calls your name and asks if he can get up, explain in a pleasant voice that it’s his choice when he gets up and that he can get up when he changes his mind and decides not to yell anymore.

Rule #2 Be consistent.

If you are in a store or public area. Again, put your finger firmly over his mouth and say, “No, you can’t yell, you have to use a nice voice and ask for whatever you want.” (If the child is too young to talk, consider teaching him the basic signs to politely ask for what he wants. See future issues for more information on baby signs.) If he continues to yell, stand firm and discipline him according to the parenting plan he is currently working on. If he hasn’t created his parenting plan, he may not have a course of action for this behavior. I would encourage you to get one. (See our parenting plan, Family by Design) If you don’t have a plan, you’re bound to fall into emotional parenting and that’s not good for you or the child.

Rule #3 Don’t yell at your child.

Gandhi said it perfectly when he said, be the change you want to see in other people. This is especially true with his children. Be what you want them to be because they will be what you are. Learn to control yourself and your emotions and your children will reflect it back to you.

Rule #4 Never, never, never, NEVER give in to yelling.

It is your job as a parent to teach your child to be aware of others around them and to respect their rights. He is not the center of the universe. Please don’t treat your child like he is or he will be an unhappy adult. If you really love him, teach him how to get along with others by teaching him the importance of proper behavior.

The next time you’re tempted to ignore the yelling, ask yourself: Do you like hearing someone else’s child yell to get their way? I do not think so.

Let’s see the recipe of Dapka Kadhi!

The ingredients to make this are whipped curd, curry leaves, mustard seeds, finely chopped coriander leaves, asafetida, a little baking soda, ginger chili paste, sugar to taste, and dried red chilies.

Then we have, clarified butter and oil.

We got Bengal gram flour, and we also got broken yellow gram, which we had already prepared (cooked).

We will also need some cumin seeds and red chili powder.

TEMPERED:

First we will put a little oil in a pan and also add a little clarified butter.

We will proceed with the spices when the butter is heated. In the meantime, let’s create the Dapka Mix.

DAPKA MIX

Take cooked split yellow grams in a bowl.

Then add the ginger-garlic paste and salt to taste.

Put a little sugar and soda.

We have to beat this mixture well.

TEMPERED:

Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to the pan after it heats up.

Add curry leaves and dried red chili after the mustard seeds pop.

CURD MIX:

Next, we need to mix the Bengal gram flour with the curd.

TEMPERED:

Add some safetida in the pan.

For the curd mixture in the pan.

Add a little water.

We have to cook it until it thickens.

MAKING THE DAPKAS

We need to make small lumps of cooked yellow grams and dip them into the mixture in the pan.

We need to serve it when it is cooked through and the lumps rise to the top.

The yellow gram lumps are called dapkas. These have been cooked and risen to the surface, and this indicates that our recipe is ready.

Sprinkle coriander leaves and then serve.

Serve it together with rice and a piece of papad (lentil wafer).

Legal Law

Women and children can be careless, but men are not.

The Godfather is one of the best movies ever produced and is full of influential quotes and meanings from start to finish. The above is one of my favorites. And it is very true.

Men cannot risk being careless. We must be leaders, dominant, strong, courageous, decisive and adventurous in everything we do. If we didn’t then we wouldn’t be here now. We trust in the male gender to propel humanity forward by leading from the front.

Women are not responsible. Sure they play an important role in our civilization, but the leaders of the world are MEN. 99 percent of kingdoms in all ancient, medieval, and modern civilizations are ruled by male leaders.

We as men have to fit into a stereotypical role and if we don’t, we can’t be seen as a real man. As men we should be:

athletic
Strong
Bravo
provider of our family
Physical Threat Defender
sexually aggressive
sexually experienced
Logical
Intellectual
rational
Practical
success oriented
Competitive
Ambitious
Moral
Trustworthy

So what he means when he says that men cannot be careless is that he had to live the role of the Godfather to provide and protect his Corleone family. He wouldn’t be able to live a careless life, because he had to worry about everything he did, otherwise his family would be under threat.

Another example would be Barack Obama. His job is to care not just for the US but for the world. He has the most powerful job in the world, so we trust him to correct troubling international issues. What if Barack one day decided that he didn’t care about him anymore?

The best radar detectors

The best radar detector is really a matter of which unit is best suited to each individual’s needs. Everyone is looking for something different in a radar detector, so the best radar detector will vary by individual. Let’s start with the type of driver who needs total protection and will do anything to avoid making another mistake. If the person has money to spend, he’ll want to get the Cobra XRS R10G or the Escort 9500IX, both of these units range from just over $325 to over $400, but they’re the best on the market in terms of total protection. If you’re on a tighter budget, then the Cobra 9960G is an absolutely excellent unit for the price of under $250. Radar detection capabilities are fabulous on this unit and laser detection capabilities are good; In addition, this detector comes with AURA, a red light detection camera and a GPS radar database. An earlier model than this unit that still works quite well is the Cobra XRS 9955.

If you are the type of driver who is just looking for a little more protection, then the Whistler line of radar detectors can be found with great quality at fairly low prices. The Whistler XTR 690, XTR 330, and DE 1788 are all good units with the Whistler lineup at relatively low prices. The DE 1788 is a cordless unit in case you need your lighter for something else; the unit will need to be charged from time to time. Lastly, for those of you on tight budgets but still in need of quality protection, check out the few refurbished models Whistler has to offer. You can find a refurbished Whistler XTR 550 for around $60 with shipping, I think that’s about as low as you can get without sacrificing all the quality.

Lhasa Apso Dog Breed Profile

Description: The Lhasa Apso is a breed of toy dog, albeit a robust one. This dog will be 10-11 inches at the shoulder and weigh 13-18 pounds. The bitch is slightly smaller than the male. The coat of the Lhasa is a very dense and long double coat, with long hair on all parts of the dog, including the head. Almost any coat color is allowed, but preference is given to honey, sand, cream, or smoke. The Apso has a short snout and a slightly protruding jaw. The tail is carried happily over the back. The Lhasa Apso has a long life, reaching 15 to 18 years.

History: Originating near the Tibetan city of Lhasa, the Lhasa Apso is an ancient breed, being recognizable as such since 800 BC. This little dog served as a guardian of monasteries, temples and houses of the nobility. The Lhasa is a good watchdog. Since the Tibetans believed that when the owner died, his soul would go to his Lhasa Apso, it was difficult for this dog to be acquired. The 13th Dalai Lama introduced some of these dogs to a visitor from the west in the 1930’s and this introduced the Apso to America.

Temperament: Having been raised in close proximity to humans, the Lhasa Apso is a devoted little dog who shows great loyalty to his master. This breed likes to be in physical contact with its owner and will often rub against its favorite human. As the Lhasa was originally a guard dog, he is still somewhat wary of strangers. This breed is good with children, but older ones, who understand how to handle dogs, are probably the best. This is a breed with a mind of its own and can be difficult to train.

Health Issues: One of the biggest health issues facing the Lhasa Apso is Progressive Retinal Atrophy. This will cause the dog to eventually go blind. As this disease usually affects older dogs, it should not be a big problem for the dog or the owner. Hip dysplasia can occur on rare occasions, but this is basically a healthy breed.

Grooming – One look at the Lhasa Apso’s beautiful coat tells you that this dog will need a great deal of grooming. The coat should be brushed and combed daily to prevent matting or matting. If the Lhasa Apso is not going to be shown, it can be given a puppy or rough coat for easier care. Since the ears are floppy, they should be checked and kept free of infection. Eyes water, so be sure to clean them regularly.

Living Conditions: The Lhasa Apso will make a perfect apartment dog. As this pup will play happily inside, he will only need a little walk every day to keep him in good condition. The Lhasa is very attached to his owner and will suffer from separation anxiety if he is not kept in the house. He is not a dog fit for outdoor life, in any case. This could be a perfect dog for retired people and people with a less active lifestyle.

Military Surplus vs. Modern Trade Weapons

Military Surplus Guns or MilSurps can be a great additional offering. I was first converted to milsurps about a year ago. I have since become a Crufler or Curio and Relic Firearms Licensed. Basically, it allows me to buy curios and relics, C&R firearms, both long and handguns, online or from a local dealer without a waiting period and have them shipped directly to my home. Now, before all the anti-gun wackos go on a rampage, C&R firearms are over 50 years old and/or listed as an heirloom by the BATF, so that’s pretty cool. Now on the subject. I collect and enjoy shooting any type of weapon, new or old. However, I prefer Milsuprs and here’s why.

First of all, they are cheap. My first Milsurp, a Russian Mosin Nagan chambered in the mighty 7.62x54r, I bought at Big 5 Sporting Goods for $79.99. In a matter of 20 minutes I was able to buy the rifle and a box of ammunition. This is a bolt action rifle and it was at least 4 feet long but still great.

Second the story. I’m not necessarily a history buff, but I do enjoy learning about the wars rifles may have served in. Seeing pantyhose and grime on old warhorses really wakes me up imagining the soldier sitting in a trench somewhere clutching that rifle for the life of him. There is much debate about restoring a milsurp, through extensive cleaning and stock resurfacing. I see both sides of that fence. It could be just as beautiful if it was re-sanded and stained, but the character that age gives it makes it beautiful too.

Third, it is addictive. They’re like French fries, you can’t eat just one. I currently have 6 Milsurps and can’t wait for my next purchase.
Fourth ammunition. For the most part, it is cheap and abundant in many of the sizes, both surplus and commercial. My SKS shoots 7.62×39 and I can buy a 500-round can of this caliber for about $40-$50 delivered.

CONS to milsurps.

they are cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I’ve been lucky and haven’t gotten anything I couldn’t live with. I read stories of some real sewer pipes out there (horrible barrels). These are mostly limited to pawn shops and gun shows. Some people try to dump their garbage on others. Most of the big online dealers like Centuryarms, AIM, and SOG have pretty good grading criteria and will let you return things if you get one that didn’t go through the grading process. The Civilian Marksmanship Program is great and probably the only way to buy real American milsurps that have not been re-imported from borrowed governments, sorry guys there is never any select fire this includes M-14s and M-16s. I bought my M-1 Garand from them, it’s balls in a precise new barrel that clink and it only cost me $395.
Some are ugly. This one is questionable, beauty is really in the eye of the beholder, some like wood and metal, others like plastic and composites. It is a personal choice. I know for a fact that if I ever run out of ammo for my Garand in a firefight, I can always beat them to death with a few hits.

I have both milsurps and NIB, new in box, modern guns. Both have clear advantages and disadvantages. But when I’m on the range and someone asks me what I’m shooting it’s because it’s not another 10/22 or remington etc.

Fox Network television history

The history of Fox Network television has not been a bed of roses. It was launched in October 1986 after 20th Century Fox’s parent company, TCF Holdings, sold 50% of its stock to News Corporation for $250 million in 1985. New Corporation then purchased six television stations in various major cities of Metromedia. At the time, the stations they purchased broadcast to only 22% of households in the United States. Once they started broadcasting as Fox in 1986, they hit 80%. However, this was not enough to be considered along with the other three major networks of ABC, CBS and NBC who came in at over 97%. Fox was still in its infancy at this point, and although it had many plans in mind, it was only airing one show: The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers.

The network was seen as having a youthful and slightly irreverent outlook on its programming and soon carried shows like ‘Married… with Children’ and ‘The Tracey Ullman Show’. It wasn’t long before ‘The Simpsons’ was born and became the longest-running animated series and sitcom in American television history. History was being made on Fox Network television.

“America’s Most Wanted” was the next big success story in Fox Network television history and was the first show to break into the top 50 shows of the week in Nielson’s major ratings. The show continues to be among the top-rated hits. Although Fox was on its way to being recognized as a top network broadcaster, its ranking with the other big three was still elusive.

All this changed in 1993 when Fox won the coverage contract for the National Football League. Until then, these had been the rights to CBS, where it had found its home since the 1950s. After only one season of NFL coverage, Fox had to be considered along with CBS, ABC and NBC… Big Three had become the Big Four. Around the same time, Fox began airing some soap operas aimed at younger audiences and these were popular from the start. Shows like ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ and ‘Melrose Place’ were a big part of the Fox network, but even they were outscored by ‘The X-Files’ in ratings. This was the networks ticket into the Top 25 on the Nielson rating show.

Since then, Fox Network’s television history has given us shows like ‘Family Guy,’ ‘King of the Hill,’ and plenty of reality shows like ‘Joe Millionaire.’ Such shows are not popular with everyone and some have criticized the network for broadcasting off-putting viewing. However, the finale of the first series of ‘Joe Millionaire’ was watched by more than 40 million people. The figures speak for themselves. Fox has always been an entertainment channel. He has never done well with news reporting, but has found his own niche where he entertains and brightens the lives of millions of viewers across America.
