Can’t decide which breed of cat is right for you? Here are 4 helpful tips

If you are looking to buy a cat, you need to consider the different breeds of cats out there. Since there are so many breeds of cats, this can be a daunting task. Selecting the wrong breed can cause you and your family a lot of distress, as the wrong breed can be a misfit. But selecting the right one can give the missing spark you’re looking for to light up your home.

So here are 4 helpful tips to get you started.

1. Vocal or pretty cat?

Some cats can actually “meow” a lot and also quite loud. If your home environment (and neighbors) can support a vocal cat, do so. If not, think twice. If you want loud and vocal cats, go for these breeds: Siamese, Korat, and Burmese cat. On the quieter side, choose: The Scottish Fold, Somali, and American Curl

2. Cuddly or aloof?

A cuddly cat needs more attention, so if you have time, go for this breed. Cuddly and affectionate cats tend to be better with children than the more reserved breeds. But if you don’t have time, then go for the reserved or aloof breed. Some breeds of cute cats are: Snowshoe, Abyssinian, Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Tonkinese, and the Himalayan Persian. The most distant and reserved breeds are the Norwegian Forest Cat, the Nebelung, and the Russian Shorthair.

3. Naughty or funny yourself?

There are some breeds like the Sphinx, Siamese, Rex, Balinese, and British Angora that can do some harm. They are very curious and energetic. You either love them or hate them. If you like less volatile breads, avoid them.

4. Long hair or short hair?

If you don’t have a lot of time to spend with your cat, you may want to opt for a short-haired cat breed because it requires less time for grooming. An adult long-haired cat. Although it looks nice, it requires a lot of attention to grooming and can be time-consuming.

Having considered all the different characteristics and traits of the cat breeds that interest you, you are now ready to start looking for your new pet. You will have to decide if you want a kitten or if you would rather give an abandoned older cat a second chance.

If you are looking for a certain breed of kitten, check your local cat show as most exhibitors have some kittens for sale. If an older cat is right for you, call your local humane society or animal rescue.

What To Look For When Buying A Pre-Foreclosed Property – Pre-Foreclosure Buying Strategies

Buying a home through foreclosure is arguably one of the most important ways to buy a home for less than its normal market value. A great benefit of buying pre-foreclosed homes is that you don’t have to compete in foreclosure auctions that can spiral out of control. Nor is it necessary to go through real estate agents who may not offer you the best deal. This often leads to being able to negotiate a more suitable price, which can lead to large Realty resale profits. Often, homeowners will sell their home at a steep discount to avoid having a long-term negative credit rating that comes with foreclosure territory. Often both parties can find a way to help each other. Finding valuable foreclosures can be tricky, so it’s important to look in the right place. Better to use pre-foreclosure experts who don’t charge hundreds of dollars for pre-foreclosure listings. Government agencies often provide insufficient data or it is too out of date.

The first day of Lis Pendens, or a notice that there is a pending legal action, begins the process. From now until the home with a delinquent mortgage goes up for auction, there is still time to act and repair the situation between the distressed homeowner and the lender. The length of the process can take three to four months before the home reaches a foreclosure auction, and even longer in certain states. Make sure you don’t forget to review all the documents and links. Also, narrow down and calculate your options to find the best property. You may need to do some necessary repairs before selling, so keep an eye on the condition of the house. Contacting a homeowner who is losing their property can be difficult. Send letters and be sure to establish a friendly tone telling them that you understand the situation and that you can help. Follow up with phone calls, but don’t interrogate the owner by default. If you feel comfortable enough, visit. Be friendly and helpful, but walk away if the owner asks you to leave.

You may also need to hire a cleaning service to clean the property. Everything has to go. Also, keep in mind that there is a great risk of loss. Make sure you know what you are doing and are ready to start a business.

CRG Kart and its journey to kart racing recognition

In the world of shift kart racing, CRG is world renowned. Still, it wasn’t always like this. When the founders started CRG, it was originally known as Kali Kart. Carlo Vanaria, Roberto Vanaria and Giancarlo Tinini created the company in the 1970s, under the name Kali Kart. However, Kali Kart was not really recognized in the Go Kart Racing world before the 1980s. It was around this period that Kali Karts began producing World Champions. One of those winners was a famous kart racer named Mike Wilson.

The name change:

The actual basis for the change of the company name from Kali Karts to CRG is not fully understood. However, it is assumed that the leaders wanted to create a new reputation for the business. What is clearly understood is precisely why they opted for the CRG name.

• C: Carlo

• R: Roberto

• G: Giancarlo

Although it may not have been the most imaginative name change, the company has proven to be very inventive, generally speaking. An example of those imaginative moves was joining forces with Dino Chiesa, one of the best chassis mechanics in the world of shift kart racing. That teamwork has proven to be invaluable to CRG.

15 World Championships:

Last year, CRG took home their 15th world championship, cementing them in the racing history books. The former Kali Kart Team became the racing organization with the most change kart racing championships on earth at that time. Having said that, they did not stop at that point.

New developments:

The geniuses at CRG are always on the move to build newer and better shift karts. In 2010 they succeeded, launching the Supra Kart chassis models. The Supra Kart line was created with convenience as its intended purpose. CRG knows that there are many different kart racers out there and has tried to design the Supra line to suit the whole group. For example:

• Supra Karts are affordable compared to other chassis models.

• Supra Kart chassis models were designed for junior and senior racers.

• Supra Kart chassis models support 2- and 4-cycle engines

So it’s obvious that CRG is here to stay. Although the name has changed, improvements and trophy ceremonies have continued to happen. Obviously CRG is discovering new and exciting enhancements to help keep kart racers and fans happy.

4 huge seasons for the giants of New York and the Big Apple

For more than 80 years, the New York Giants have represented the Big Apple in a big way. Since 1925, the team has played in five stadiums, won three Super Bowls, had 27 professional soccer Hall of Famers and retired 11 player jersey numbers. There have been several memorable moments in more than eight decades of Giants history. While it is quite difficult to define ONE as the most memorable, several of them are certainly noteworthy:

Season 1.1925

According to reliable sources, Tim Mara bought the Giants for $ 500. Mara was a businesswoman and promoter. At the time, the NFL (and later the Giants themselves) was struggling. However, the Giants found a major turning point during their first season. On December 11, the Giants faced the Chicago Bears. Approximately 70,000 fans watched the game live! The Giants would split a two-game series with the Bears, ending the season with an 8-4 record.

2. Season 1986

During the previous season, the Giants had lost to the Chicago Bears (21-0) in the NFC championship game. This season, they were ready to stomp the competition! The Giants completed the regular season with an outstanding 14-2 record. In the playoffs, they demolished the San Francisco 49ers (49-3) and then shut out the Washington Redskins (17-0). In Super Bowl XXI, the Giants nearly doubled the Denver Broncos’ score (39-20). Coach Bill Parcells’s “Gatorade Bath” rounded out the Giants’ season larger than life.

3. Season 1990

The Giants played another solid season, finishing with a 13-3 record. After losing their starting quarterback Phil Simms, everyone wondered how far the Giants would advance in the playoffs. Quarterback Jeff Hostetler responded. The Giants defeated the Chicago Bears (31-3) and then edged the San Francisco 49ers (15-13), after adding Joe Montana to their Quarterback casualty list. Super Bowl XXV was another tight game, with the Giants slipping away from the Buffalo Bills (20-19).

4. Season 2007

While the Giants started on rocky ground, they finished the season with a 10-6 record. In the playoffs, the Giants sank the Tampa Bay Bucs (24-14), defeated the Dallas Cowboys in an end zone interception on the last play of the game (21-17), and then outplayed the Green Bay. Packers in overtime (23-20). In Super Bowl XLII, the Giants faced the New England Patriots, who were trying to complete a perfect season, literally. Tom Brady and the Patriots had become famous for winning close games in the Super Bowl. However, it was Giants quarterback Eli Manning who hit the last drive of his team’s game. With 39 ticks left, the Giants won their third Super Bowl trophy. The 1972 Miami Dolphins remained the only undefeated team in NFL history.

The New York Giants have had huge seasons throughout their history. Certainly his Super Bowl victories have been in some of his most memorable seasons. Giants fans look forward to their favorite NFL team winning more NFL championships. Use New York Giants merchandise to cheer the team on for another gigantic season!

Bishop to Bodie and Beyond, Exploring the Sierras of Eastern California

Bishop is a gateway city that marks the beginning (or the end depending on your address) of the Eastern Sierras visual extravaganza offered along Highway 395 that runs north-south in California, east of the Sierras, but not quite to Nevada.

If he’s going anywhere on 395, he’s probably going through Bishop. This is a city that marks a change of landscape from a dry and arid desert to the south, to the rich and rugged views of the Sierra to the north. Don’t miss a stop at EriK Schat’s Bakery downtown, the only intersection with a traffic light. You could almost spend a full day here sampling the delicious delicacies at this special bakery. In addition to the usual sweets, there are apparently dozens of different styles of bread. This is a “don’t miss it” when traveling through Bishop

Continuing north, you will find Mammoth Lakes. This haven for Angelenos on the go has turned what used to be a quiet mountain getaway into a viable community. The small town that I met a few years ago is now hidden behind luxury stores, condos, a high school, and a hospital. Getting away from the city to Lake Mary is still very enjoyable and the hike up to the devils poles is popular for dissecting the city center, making it a bit confusing for the first time visitor. Head out into the countryside above the city with the lakes and postpile, it’s wonderful.

Off the beaten track, and away from the hordes that seem to have grown up around Mammoth, is Devil’s Post Pile. We love the scenery and this strange geological attraction is well worth a visit. The hike from Post Pile to Rainbow Falls is also worth it, about 3 miles, lots of downhill and some steep sections.

Leaving Mammoth, one heads north for the quiet hamlet of June Lake, which always seems to be up for a Field and Stream magazine photo with sporting log cabins and plaid shirt fishermen galore. The 14 mile June Lake Loop takes you back along the base of the mountains where you can find a little hill for skiing, a great learning hill for families. Lake Grant, the northernmost lake, is a reservoir lake and while it has fishing, it lacks the usual shoreline that makes the lakes so pretty. The other lakes, Silver and June are natural and Aspen is surrounded by fantastic pictures of fall colors.

The next stop along the way is Lee Vining, a gateway to Yosemite and where Highway 120 intersects Highway 395. A left turn here will soon take you to Yosemite National Park at Tioga Pass. But let’s visit some of the highlights of the Eastern Sierra before heading back here.

Lee Vining has a wonderful interactive visitor and information center that focuses on “lunar-esque” Mono Lake. The lake was, in recent years, the center of attention in terms of water use rights. Almost drained by Los Angeles in the 1980s to meet its massive water needs, locals along with the help of various national agencies rallied and sued to get their water back. Mono Lake is now quite crowded and full of shrimp, birds, and all kinds of little critters. The Lee Vining Visitor Center is a wealth of information, photos, history, and learning opportunities about this unique part of California. Note: the lower water levels in the lake allowed for extreme views of the common rock figures around the lake that are now mostly covered again.

As you drive north, away from the lake, look back and see that it continues much further than you would think from your first view of the lake. You are now heading towards Bodie, watch closely as there is only one sign that is often missed that indicates the Bodie turnoff and it is a right turn then 12 miles. Once on the road to Bodie, civilization quickly fades and the road eventually turns to gravel. Keep an eye out for the hillside Shepard and her dogs in the meadow to the right – very European! Once in Bodie head to the museum. This is where you will collect your passes for the Gold Stamping Mill Tour. Only a few bucks, but worth a mint in history, local color, and interesting information about a bygone era. Tours are at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm every day. If you can’t take a tour, take a moment to check with one of the docent or rangers, they have in-depth knowledge and seem to genuinely enjoy sharing it!

Here we have to decide which way to go after Bodie, back to Yosemite or Lake Tahoe. Once the weather changes and the snow begins to fall, perhaps in late October or early November, the Tioga Pass will close through traffic until late May or early June of the following year. The next closest intersection that clears for the winter is Highway 88, somewhat north of us, but another lovely ride! If you have planned your trip when the pass is closed, after Bodie, stay on 395 towards Tahoe, where you will have several options to continue your explorations, either to the east and Nevada or to the west and California.

If you travel in the summer months with the pass open, we backtrack a bit. After Bodie, return to Highway 395 and south again to Highway 120 at Lee Vining and turn right onto Yosemite. Stop for dinner at the Mobile gas station on your left. This is the Whoa Nelly Deli, marked “Restaurant” and is a wonderful, low-key, quick stop for a full gourmet snack, lunch or dinner … always delicious and very reasonably priced. The Whoa Nelly Deli is only open while the Tioga Pass is open. The preferred seating would be outside at a picnic table overlooking Mono Lake.

Climbing the “hill” you will soon reach the pinnacle, the Tioga Pass. It is highly recommended to stop along the way to see photo shoots, as well as to enjoy a few days in the park. http://www.nps.gov/yose is the official website for Yosemite National Park and can provide the traveler with plenty of trip planning tools.

As you exit the park if you are heading to San Francisco, you will be back on Highway 120, past Crane Flat and exit the Big Oak entrance, or exit in this case. Your next stop should be the town of Groveland, the gold rush. Interesting places here include the museum at the intersection of 120 and Ferretti Road, open daily from 1 to 4 pm. The Iron Door Saloon is a step back in time and Mountain Sage is a destination in its own right, a wonderful stop for coffee, gardens and nursery, hammock garden, arts, crafts, books, and seating nooks. Another place where you can spend the day. They also have wireless connection here if you need an internet connection.

If Groveland is a place to sleep, http://www.StayNearYosemite.com can offer a diverse selection of lodging options in the area and http://www.groveland.org can provide a preview of dining options.

Enjoy!

It is not false

It has been my life since I was born. It’s in my blood and I refuse to let it go. It’s something I can’t live without, and if I lost it, all hell would break loose. I didn’t hold onto my toys or cheer on my hometown sports team. I turned on my TV and watched all these super athletes risk their lives, wowing millions and millions of fans. It is my lifestyle and I knew it would be from a very young age. Every time I see my idols come out with their special entrance music and hear the crowd erupt in jubilation, it reminds me why I love her so much. The moments when childhood dreams come true, and hold the gold, the moments when that special hero in your heart has to leave the business for good. The times when your favorite comes out and you do, they come in with them and hum the lyrics. The moments when the bad guy tries to destroy your hopes and aspirations by terrorizing your little soul that is in the hands of your hero. These things make what I look at and aspire to be immortal to me. It’s professional wrestling and it’s my life.

I just can’t live without it, it is always on my mind, but there is a problem with accompanying this fantastic product. Almost everyone I talk to who doesn’t see it says it’s “fake.” Well, if that’s the case, let’s reference the 1998 King of the Ring Hell in a Cell match that put Mankind against The Undertaker. Mick Foley, known as “Mankind” at this time, fell from the top of the cage onto the announce table below, which was one of the biggest “blows” received in wrestling history! He nearly died that night and suffered multiple life-threatening injuries and several teeth fell out. Do you think the game ended there? Mick unbelievably continued with the match and a few minutes later he took a choking blow THROUGH the cage, taking another blow from the same height, landing in a stiff ring and going through that as well. He even got up from it and moved on! My point is that wrestling is not fake. Wrestling is scripted, and matches are usually choreographed and armed long before the match actually happens.

The injuries caused are completely REAL, and you have to be in top shape mentally and physically to even consider living life. Business is what I live for, and it’s what keeps me grounded and teaches me life lessons. The millions of professional wrestling fans and I want to send a message to closed minded people who think wrestling is fake. Why don’t you go and try what Mick Foley did in that hell at the cell game? Why not spend more than 300 days a year away from everything you love and value? Why don’t you speak in front of a live audience of over 10 million every week without being affected by it? The wrestling business is not for the faint of heart. It is for the chosen few who cannot live without it. In that case, I better train because the last thing I want is to be known as a “fan.” I want to live the life!

Money is not the main asset in life, time is

‘Greed is good’ – Gordon Gekko, ‘Wall Street 2- Money never sleeps …’ Discussion

I recently saw this Wall Street sequel and it reminded me once again that wealth is a state of mind. There will always be money coming in, going out and MULTIPLYING whether we are part of it or not. There are people who know who to do the latter and there are people who don’t. My mission has been to make people realize that there are many ways to add value and earn money.

DO NOT depend on your pension, the government or anyone else to secure your future.

Taking notes from the original Wall Street movie with Charlie Sheen as the hero, they make you believe that making a lot of money, being rich was bad or ruthless. On Wall Street 2 there is apparently a different message; that family and love are just goods that you cannot buy, whatever is happening in the money markets, the economy … your career is no longer so secure.

Despite the doom and sadness that is portrayed in the media (apart from 3rdi of course … we like to defy the norm) and a large part of this film; Think how many millionaires and billionaires have been made in this so-called ‘recession’.

Check out one of the social media gurus of the 2000s Mark Zuckerburg the founder (well, one of!) of Facebook who rose to fame and fortune in one of the supposedly worst economic periods since the great depression.

Going back to tough businessman Gordon Gekko in the sequel, Wall Street Two. mentions “Someone reminded me that I once said ‘greed is good’. Now it seems like it’s legal. Because everyone drinks the same Kool Aid.”

The point I’d like to make here is that it’s okay to make money, it’s okay to be rich, it’s okay to add as much value to as many people as possible with integrity … in the shortest amount of time possible. time as possible! For example, I’ve been using Facebook a lot more for business over the last few months and now I’m starting to see great returns. There are MILLIONS of people joining Facebook regularly and whether you are for or against it is a phenomenon that is still increasing rapidly and India and China are not yet fully connected.

My wish for you is that you read these articles every month and be inspired to take control of your finances and your life and make it what you absolutely DESERVE and not what you are conforming to. That you are using some of these tips and exploring them for yourself. Just thinking about it and writing goals or notes. Have you noticed any memorable changes yet?

I will blatantly use another quote from the original Wall Street, one of the key characters Bud Fox says “There is no nobility in poverty.” I have to agree in a broader sense (obviously there are always exceptions to the rule – Gandhi, Mother Teresa …) than for the common person – it is better to have a comfortable and abundant lifestyle rather than one full of deficiencies. . deprivation and jealousy. I live in a part of the world where there are total extremes from a complete lack of means and those to billionaire status and large and secure closed properties. YOU CAN make a difference and you have the option.

We are almost coming to the end of ANOTHER year … we are galloping through another decade of our lives and I really want you to make the necessary changes to be comfortable with acquiring more wealth. As I mentioned in the previous article, to move forward you have to enter the uncomfortable zone … it will be worth it!

So, your actions for this month, if you decide to accept, are:

  • Review the articles from this past year and review the areas you need
  • Your personal estate sheet?
  • Calculate your liabilities and your assets?
  • Did you apply the Cappuccino Factor?
  • What were the biggest challenges you faced in creating a new money mindset?

These are just a few questions for you to think and act on for the next four weeks. Next month we will review 2010 in more detail and commit some actions!

I leave you with my favorite quote from Mr. Gekko from Wall Street 2:Money never sleeps;

“Recovery. Except I’m not in that business anymore, because the only thing I learned in prison is that money is not the main asset in life. Time is …”

To your health, wealth and success

Latest trend in kitchen backsplashes

The installation of a tile wall in a kitchen is here!

It’s 2019 and that means it’s time to talk about this year’s design trends. There are so many great trends that I hope to use in my designs, but the one that interests me the most is the tile wall in a kitchen. That’s right, we are talking about the latest concept in splatter design. Going up, tiling everything and framing windows.

I’ve said for years that an easy path to high design is through the use of tile. I love tile and use it in almost every design to create unique custom looks for each of my clients.

The trend this year is to get rid of the concept that the backsplash in a kitchen is installed only under the cabinets. Instead we take tile over cabinets and go bold by covering entire walls.

You heard it correctly, the backsplash has now spread from wall to wall and almost any tile will work for this application. However, if you want to keep your design evergreen, my suggestion is to use a white subway tile.

I love subway tiles for their versatility, cost, and high design. It comes in multiple sizes, making it easy to create different styles, and can be found almost everywhere from tile stores to home improvement centers.

When looking for a traditional subway, look no further than the classic 3×6. This tile installed in a 1/2 set pattern is as evergreen as you can get. If you want to pierce it a bit, try using a darker grout to make the lines pop. You can also play with other sizes like 2×4 or 4×8.

Then there is my favorite, the 3×12 white meter. This size takes us away from the traditional and goes to a more modern look. It is also a great size to use if you are looking to place it in a herringbone pattern, but it is just as beautiful installed in a 1/2 or 1/3 pattern.

Bottom line, if you’re looking for that wow factor in your kitchen, it’s time to go big and bold, wall-to-wall and make tile your focal point. Weather, evergreen subway tiles, mosaics or stones, entire walls of any kitchen can transform a basic design into a tall design without remodeling the entire kitchen.

Import tuners

Import tuners are auto mechanics who specialize in providing regular maintenance, or “tuning” cars that come from other countries. Modifying and customizing cars, especially sports cars, has become a popular hobby. It has given rise to a completely new concept of tuning a car. The tuning of a car could be a cosmetic change or it could refer to changes made internally to optimize performance. Cosmetic changes like spoilers, ground effects, neon lights, differently designed exhausts, loud sound systems, large wheels with low-profile tires, and similar changes are common. These changes may satisfy the desire of the owners, but they are actually detrimental to the performance of the car.

Making internal changes to a car is also popular and many expert tuners can be contacted for this purpose. It has now become the norm for manufacturers, especially the Japanese, to export not-so-powerful models to the US Tuners and then to take control and restore the car to its original engine capacity. Modifications, such as engine and transmission swapping, are done by expert tuners. Examples include converting a Honda Civic to a Civic Type-R or Si or converting a Toyota Celica GT or GT-S to a Celica GT-Four.

Tuning has become such a popular trend that manufacturers are modifying their products appropriately. A segment known as pre-tuned sports compacts has emerged. Honda, Toyota, Mazda and Nissan are key players in this segment. The manufacturers themselves also provide accessories for this purpose. Not to be left behind, the US domestic market has also opened up to this style of production.

The most important step in improving business processes

If you have experience managing a project, you know the importance of the Project Inception Document (PID), but were you aware of the importance of a similar document when starting a business process improvement (BPI) effort? While you may not consider a BPI effort as large a project as a system implementation, you do need the same kind of information if you want to stay on track and avoid scope slippage.

In BPI’s work, I call this document the Scope Definition Document (SDD) and consider it the most important step towards successful process improvement.

Whether you lead a regular information technology type project and use the PID or a process improvement project and use the SDD, you should consider these reference documents as key tools that you never miss.

A PID includes information such as the business case, deliverables, time, risks, budgets, and resources.

In BPI’s work, the SDD provides the blueprint for the process you want to improve and provides you with a vehicle to reach agreement in the following areas:

  1. Process owner: person responsible for the process from start to finish
  2. Description: definition or purpose
  3. Limits: amplitude (start and end)
  4. Process responsibilities: main tasks delivered by the process
  5. Client / Client and needs: audience of the process and what is important to them
  6. Key stakeholders and needs: other areas or departments affected by the process and what they require
  7. Success measures– what should the company measure to ensure that the process meets the needs of the customer / customer / stakeholders

Several of the SDD components deserve additional information.

Description: When writing the descriptionPay particular attention to the terminology used and avoid using technical, unusual or cultural terms without explaining what the word means; after all, a definition must define, not confuse. How often have you found yourself thinking that one word meant one thing, while another person had a totally opposite understanding? This becomes more of a problem when you work for a global company whose employees reside in different countries.

It may sound easy, but I have found this task alone to be very time consuming. Use an example if you need to further define a process, and if you want specifically Exclude Something from the scope of a process, this is a good place to identify exclusion.

Limits: Clearly identify the limits It will save you time later in the project and help prevent scope slippage. The limits may seem obvious to you, but once a project team starts talking about where the process begins and ends, you will appreciate the clarity that SDD brings to the work.

There is no right or wrong answer as to where a process begins and ends. It all depends on the project team’s discussion and the sponsor’s approval of the boundaries of the process, so you can stay on the right track. The decision of “limits” becomes evident when you move on to mapping the process.

Success measures: When identifying measures of success, focus on customer / client needs and identify measures that address those needs. At this point, focus on what to measure, not how you are going to measure it. Save the “how” for later (step 7 of the 10 steps). If you spend time at the beginning of a process improvement project on how to measure something, the project team will deviate from concern about the difficulty of the metric itself.

The scoping document should fit on a single sheet of paper so that everyone can use it as a quick reference guide. The temptation to add a second page will surface, but the effectiveness of the document is its apparent patent, while actually providing considerable depth!

Laying the foundation by developing an SDD is the second of ten steps to improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and adaptability of your business processes, so take some time to focus on it. Create the blueprint to guide your work.
