How to achieve duplication in a network marketing business

We hear it all the time: ‘Duplication in your network marketing business.’ Why is duplication so important to your network marketing business?

For one thing, without it, you would be solely dependent on your own efforts for the entire life of your business. If he’s not duplicating, he might as well be in another line of work because his business would never grow to the level that it can, and he wouldn’t have a team and wouldn’t generate a lot of residual income.

You always hear about people in this industry making six figures a month. Now the ONLY way they could achieve that in network marketing is through duplication in their business: Others at work who also contribute to their income.

However, most people will never see that type of income in MLM because they haven’t fully harnessed the power and scope of effective duplication. The average network marketer will get excited at the prospect of recruiting a ‘big fish’ or two, and expect that person to go wild and start building at an incredible rate; therefore, building the sponsor a successful business.

Stop there!

That’s not how this works. Even though duplication is the component that can skyrocket your income and business, YOU must be the one to ‘go crazy’ and do whatever you can to make things happen. Then the people you recruit will see what you’re doing (not necessarily what you’re saying) and be more inclined to follow your pattern of success.

You cannot depend on anyone to build your business for you. If you really want to build a team of successful network marketers, you have to lead from the front and truly BE the person you want your people to be. You need to provide the right kind of business-building education for your team and equip them with effective tools, so they too can go out there and get the job done consistently.

Now that you understand the importance of duplication in a network marketing business; Let’s talk about what you can do to achieve this:

– Lead from the front (be the leader and performer you want to see first in your people). You should start the duplicating machine in your business with your own personal effort and never stop until the job is done.

– Educate yourself (invest in outside education in marketing, sales, and other business practices), so you can stand out from the crowd and get better results than the masses.

– Attract potential leaders and builders to you through effective marketing by generating your own leads instead of prospecting and applying to everyone like the masses do. You don’t want anyone, you just want the select few who make it. (Doing this will save you tons of time getting a real duplication.)

– Provide consistent RESULTS-BASED systems and training for your team (not the systems used by 95% of your network marketing company’s rep base). You must be different if you want different results.

– Always keep track of your personal and team results, and constantly improve and update your marketing methods to get the most out of it. (If something doesn’t work, change it or drop it.)

– Use leverage to the best of your ability in your personal efforts as well as in team performance and training. (Learn how to do things faster, easier, and more effectively than other network users, and the results will demonstrate the effects of your implementation.)

True duplication and team building in your network marketing business can happen if you do your part to make sure it starts with you and that you and your team have been educated on EFFECTIVE business building methods and training.

When this happens in a business, it’s hard to stop the kind of growth that this kind of duplication can bring you. It all starts with you.
