Create a website using blog software

Have you thought about how easy it would be to create and maintain a website if you created it all using blogging software? Talk about a cheap and easy way to make your own website, this is that!

A small business could create websites for each of their product lines and build each site with blogging software and then link to a main sales site. New product announcements, FAQs, customer support, feature descriptions, etc. are all handled in a snap…

Someone who wants a quick and easy mini-site to sell products could easily do so. It would also be a great way to create a content or informational site that links to an actual product sales site or promotes products via affiliate links.

The thing doesn’t even have to look like a conventional blog, if you don’t want it to be. You can structure it to look like a standard website, but get all the benefits of having a blog, like frequent hits from search engine spiders, fast indexing, and the ability to advertise in all sorts of ways.
of blog ad sites…

That’s creative internet marketing at the forefront!

People are already doing this. I have visited several sites built this way using WordPress or MoveableType. They can be made to look like normal websites. In fact, the first time I visited one, I had no idea it was done that way, until I contacted the webmaster and he told me how his site was built.

The blog is seamlessly embedded into the website and retains the ease and functionality of a blog, without seeming like it. The site retains all the benefits of a blog: easy and frequent updates, a conversational tone, the ability to interact with site visitors and customers directly on the site, and the ability to ping and blog directory ads, etc.

Another such site combines a home page, sales pages for an e-book, and two blogs. Everything is built using blogging software, making it easy to update. As with the first site I mentioned, it looks the world over like a conventional website, but gains many of the advantages of a blog.

This is the wave of the future, folks, and it’s happening. now.
