3 Critical Financial Ratios Small Business Owners Should Follow

There are four ways to increase income and two ways to increase profit. You can increase revenue by increasing the number of transactions per customer, increasing the average sale, increasing the number of customers, and raising prices. You can increase profits by lowering costs and/or raising prices. Remember that your income is the total of all the money you put in, and your earnings are what’s left after all expenses and taxes.

Most small business owners have an accountant or at a minimum use accounting software that can provide financial statements, balance sheets, etc. All this is fine! You don’t need to be an accountant to run your business, you do need to calculate and track certain critical criteria. Waiting until the end of your fiscal year to see where you are could be your downfall or you could have changed something you shouldn’t have done because you were more successful than you thought.

The numbers to keep a close eye on are found in the following reports: Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and your Income Statement. Your accountant creates them for you. Hire a good accountant and make sure you understand what you’re looking at and what your numbers mean. Learn how to read these reports and keep track of the critical numbers so you don’t suddenly find yourself on the brink of bankruptcy. Take bold and immediate action when necessary to continue moving toward your revenue and profit goals.

3 Critical Financial Ratios to Track:

  1. Gross Margin (also called Gross Profit) = Revenue minus direct costs.
  2. Net Income (also called Net Profit) = Income minus all expenses and taxes.
  3. Overhead to Sales and Salary to Sales ratios = Total Overhead as a percentage of your revenue and Total Salaries as a percentage of sales.

Now let’s take a look at each of these numbers to understand their importance and how they can affect your business in the short and long term. Your net profit is directly affected by your sales, the selling price, and the fixed and variable costs. Measure your financial performance regularly to get a clear picture of your financial situation before making drastic decisions.

big win o Gross margin represents profit remaining after deducting revenue less direct costs. Gross profit is what you have left to pay for indirect overhead costs. Direct costs are the costs associated with your products and services sold. Direct costs include: cost of purchase or manufacture plus freight, customs, duties, losses, interest paid on the financed product, local delivery (if not billed separately), commissions and allowances, and direct advertising costs (if you assign a direct cost). advertising). budget directly to this article).

Their net income o Net profit is your bottom line. This is the amount you have left after all expenses and taxes are deducted from your total income. Many forget to account for taxes paid. We have to pay the tax collector, so this should be counted as an expense.

If he general selling expenses or the Salaries to Sales proportions increase, find out why. Many reasons can affect these ratios. Some are temporary and acceptable. Others may indicate a bad trend. For example, if your salary-to-sales ratio goes up because you just hired a new salesperson, this is acceptable and temporary. However, if after a few months this ratio remains high, there is reason for further analysis. Did this vendor sell anything during this time? If so, do your sales from him cover his salary? If the answer is yes, it is an indication that sales from other sources are down. Tracking these two ratios on a monthly basis will help you keep costs reasonable and take corrective action before they spiral out of control.

“You can’t improve what you don’t measure.

Small business owners are bombarded by interruptions. Staying on top of key financial data on a regular basis is imperative. Don’t just rely on instinct or what your staff tells you. Track these numbers and more to get a clear, unbiased picture of where your business stands. Take immediate corrective action when necessary to get back on track toward your goals.

You can’t improve what you don’t measure. Manage your finances or they will manage you!

5 reasons why you should drive an electric vehicle (EV)

Electric cars are no longer a dream. They are here today, and in the years to come there will be many more models and options available to the consumer. With fuel prices rising higher and higher and the environmental impact of traditional fossil fuel burning, you may be considering making the switch to an alternative. Here are 5 reasons why you should be driving an electric vehicle.

1. Cheaper:

They are much cheaper to run. Taking much less cash to ‘fill up’ than engines that burn oil. You can charge them overnight from your home power supply and depending on your utility company this can be reduced by taking advantage of off-peak rates. Your motoring costs will be drastically reduced.

2. Cleaner:

They are truly zero emission vehicles. No exhaust pipes or greenhouse gases are produced. Furthermore, they are silent, which leads to a very low environmental impact. While it is true that there are emissions associated with the production of electricity, it is getting cleaner and cleaner. Additionally, many providers offer green energy rates, which are more expensive but still much cheaper than diesel or gasoline.

3. Less maintenance:

Electric motors require almost no maintenance. There is no cooling system and no oil system, apart from gearbox or clutch. Oil and coolant changes are a thing of the past. The only thing to take care of are the brakes and the lyres. If you’re a DIY motorist working on one of these vehicles, it’s also cleaner. It won’t be covered in oil or grease like with a traditional fuel burner.

4. Lasts longer:

As well as being ultra-reliable, the motor will last a long time. With fewer moving parts to worry about, there’s little that can go wrong. All there is to an electric motor is a coil and drive shaft, unlike the hundreds of moving parts in a traditional combustion engine.

5. Local incentives:

Your taxes may be lower, as many countries will give you tax breaks and other incentives for green motoring. In the UK, where other cars have to pay road tax annually, the tax for electric drive vehicles is zero.

Surely these 5 reasons why you should drive an electric vehicle have given you something to eat or think about. These cars are getting better and cheaper all the time. Not only will you help the environment, but you’ll also help your bank balance.

How to improve supplement sales with user-generated content

How did one particular supplement business skyrocket sales by 181% over a recent 5-year period?

Such success means that they have done many things well. However, one particular strategy stands out: user generated content (CGU) marketing.

A company’s strategy is a blueprint for marketing supplements.

Why does it work?

According to the Nielsen Consumer Confidence Index, 92% of customers trust organic UGC more than traditional advertising.

This means old-time “word of mouth” marketing.

It is not something you can manufacture. The point is that it is authentic and reliable.

The question is: how can other supplement companies also take advantage of this powerful marketing strategy?

Responding requires looking under the hood of the company to see how they are doing.

HARNESS THE POWER OF UGC

The company, Jigsaw Health, started in 2005. As with most startups, they initially struggled to have a positive ROI.

However, over time they became one of the fastest growing companies in the supplement market.

Along the way they discovered UGC, bumping into it more or less by chance.

Their experience began in 2006 when they were advertising on a nationally syndicated radio talk show.

Without being asked, a handful of listeners grabbing their products began sending emails to the host, thanking him for telling them about the company’s leading product.

When the presenter started reading them on the air and talking about how the product made him feel more energized, the ROI of advertising doubled.

This is UGC at its finest.

Fast forward to the present. Jigsaw Health has now accelerated its commercialization of UGC. They use multiple strategies to harness the power of consumer input.

For starters, their UGC has been spread all over the company’s website and social media. They creatively call these entrances “customer hotspots.”

Customer highlights are short and to the point.

For example,

Bobbie says that she has found the Holy Grail for a good night’s sleep.

Lance reports getting more sleep and waking up feeling rested and no longer experiencing leg cramps at night.

Consumers talking to consumers.

Plus, and perhaps best of all, their YouTube channel is packed with short customer videos raving about their products.

Pulling the curtain back a bit further also reveals that its initial flagship product currently has 1,000 five-star reviews on Amazon, all from verified buyers.

That is more than five times more than the second closest mark.

UGC can’t get any better than that.

And it continues to drive the company’s growth.

According to CEO and co-founder Patrick Sullivan Jr., in 2020 their average monthly income increased from $750,000 to more than $1 million.

UGC FOR ALL SIZES

The authenticity and reliability of UGC works well for any business, regardless of size.

Jigsaw Health shows how it works for a multi-million dollar company.

My own weight loss business is small in comparison. However, some of the same strategies that worked for Jigsaw Health have also worked for my company.

UGC quadrupled my income in one year.

It started with word-of-mouth endorsements among friends.

In fact, in a small town in Tennessee, personal references spread like wildfire. Ultimately, it resulted in thousands of dollars in revenue.

No advertising. No email marketing. No website SEO.

CGU only.

THE KEY TO AN EFFECTIVE UGC

The concept is simple: get people talking by saying good things about your products.

This is the beating heart of UGC.

Making it happen boils down to a few steps that any business can take.

ACTION STEPS

Increasing revenue by 181% like Jigsaw Health did depends on how you generate UGC for your supplements.

Since UGC is so powerful, online services have sprung up whose sole purpose is to help businesses capitalize on it. Hiring one is an option, although that can be expensive.

Applying the following three action steps will work fine instead.

1) Allow and encourage feedback from all customers.

The most active places for customer feedback are social media and blog posts on a company’s website. This is where you can most easily encourage customers to post photos and comments. People love to talk and show off!

Then interact with them. In doing so, acknowledge their value to you. And show some personality. Make it clear that there is another human being on your side.

Simply taking this action step will set your business apart from the crowd. As noted by Forbes, 62% of millennials want to connect with their favorite brands through social media. People want that human connection.

Although the value of such interaction is clear, surveys still reveal that 5 out of 6 customer Internet communications that need a response are never answered.

2) Ask for reviews. Getting reviews is as simple as that. Boost responses with a little customer appreciation: incentives, coupons, e-books (which should act like long sales letters), reports, any kind of truly valuable reward.

The more incentives you give, the more responses you get.

3) The first two steps are the most obvious. Step 3 not so much.

We’ll go back to what Jigsaw Health is doing to see how this step works.

As the CEO describes it, it involves what he calls finding a “tribe.”

In this case, the tribe is the pickleball players.

Yes, it is a real sport! Actually, there are pickleball pros. And there are even professional Pickleball tours.

Jigsaw Health discovered a product need for Pickleballers and created one to fill it.

Now the company sponsors several individual professionals and two professional tours. The company even became the main sponsor of a championship.

It is now THE brand in the Pickleball community. The tribe loves it.

Finding a tribe requires some creativity. It requires finding a target audience and cultivating it.

Bottom line: Finding and tending to your tribe is magical for generating UGC.

THE FOUNDATION

If UGC is like an unstoppable ball rolling downhill, getting it going means climbing the hill in the first place.

The foundation for that uphill push is marketing persuasive materials that drive customer engagement and positive responses.

In terms of influence, this means writing that invokes one or more of Dr. Robert Cialdini’s seven principles of persuasion.

UGC already harnesses the power of two of its tenets: social proof and unity.

Capitalizing on social proof and drive is based on applying the other five principles (mutuality, scarcity, authority, commitment/consistency, likability/consensus) in persuasive marketing copy.

That’s where I come in. That’s the writing I do.

I am a freelance writer with experience in the alternative health niche, a published research scientist, and a 30-year college professor. I leverage my experience and skills to write persuasive copy for nutraceutical marketing.

Would you like to explore what I can do for you? Then let’s talk.

Health Fitness

So what’s the buzz about core strengthening?

Recently, everyone in the exercise and fitness industry seems to be talking about core strengthening. The core of your body, the area around your trunk and pelvis, is where your center of gravity is. It is the nexus of all the movements of your body. A strong core gives you:

oGreater protection and reinforcement for the back.

o Controlled movements, especially when reacting to changes in direction.

oA solid foundation for all body movements.

o Better posture.

The main muscles involved in core stability are the deep muscles of the abdomen and lower back, the glutes, and the muscles around the hips and pelvis. Core stabilization helps you learn to use these inner muscles before you start any other movement, so your spine is tight and your subsequent movements are smoother and more coordinated.
Why is kernel stability so important?

As chiropractors, we tell our patients over and over again that all parts of your body are connected, either directly or indirectly. This connection is called the kinetic chain. Its trunk (core) is where the kinetic chains meet. A weak link in one part of the kinetic chain can cause pain or injury in another part. Strengthening your core gives your entire kinetic chain greater stability and power as you move. This leads to a decrease or prevention of low back pain; decreased chance of injury; increased strength and power for all activities; and greater confidence form greater strength and better balance.
How can I increase my core strength?

Core stabilization exercises are easy to do and can be done almost anywhere with little to no equipment. It’s more important that core-strengthening exercises be done well than that many of them are done. It’s a good idea to have a trained professional (chiropractor, physical therapist, strength and conditioning specialist, or personal trainer) check that he’s using the correct muscles during each exercise.

Here are some simple exercises:

Transverse contraction of the abdomen:
Contract your belly, imagining that you are pulling your navel in toward your spine. Hold for 5 to 10 seconds and then relax. Repeat until your muscles are fatigued, and then add an additional repetition each day. You can do this exercise at work, while driving, or while standing in line at the grocery store, and no one will know.

Bridge:

Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Draw your navel toward your spine, then lift your hips off the floor until they’re in line with your knees. Hold for 5 to 10 seconds, then lower your hips. Repeat until tired and then add one repetition each day.

prone plank:

Lie on your stomach and then balance on your toes and elbows. Keep your body in a flat line. Try to hold this position for 30-60 seconds.

Quadruped:

Start on your hands and knees. Keep one arm straight and extend the opposite leg behind you at the same time. Hold for 2 seconds and then repeat on the other side. Repeat until tired and then add one repetition per day.

Stability Balls:

Basic exercises can be improved by performing them on large exercise balls. The challenge of balancing on the ball makes your body use the deep muscles attached to the spine more effectively. It also makes exercises more fun and adds variety to your workout. Other basic tools to improve training include: BOSU (Both Sides Up) platforms; oscillating and tilting boards; foam rollers; dyne discs; and foam mats. Try taking your usual weight lifting routine and doing it on one of these machines. You will surely notice the difference!

Core strengthening should be the most important part of your workout. It should be done at least three times a week. You should focus on replicating the activities you do on a daily basis. Remember, just as a house is only as strong as the foundation it is built on, your body is only as strong as its core.

Tips for building a predator-proof chicken coop

We all want to protect our babies, building a predator-proof chicken coop is probably the most important aspect of protecting them. Chicken predators come in all shapes and sizes. Cats, dogs, snakes, owls and hawks, for example. The list can be daunting. Here are some quick tips to get started with predator testing your chicken coop.

Motion sensor lighting is an obvious first choice. Nocturnal predators such as coyotes, foxes, and owls hunt at night and are easily startled by turning the light on and off. Although this has worked in various situations for many people, it is not always the final solution you are looking for. Eventually, the predator will be hungry enough to ignore the light or at least make a mad dash for the food in hopes of getting away with it.

Secure your chickens during the night hours to keep them away from predators. A predator-proof chicken coop should be strong enough to keep hungry local animals out. Dogs and foxes can easily tear through the thin material. A determined raccoon will untie your latches, they are clever creatures too! Using 2 step latches really helps. Keep in mind that a raccoon can pick the same locks as a 2-year-old can. Close up any small holes that snakes, mice, rats, or weasels can enter. These guys will eat your eggs and won’t stop coming back even though they’ve been relocated.

Chicken coop is a terrible way to predator proof a chicken coop. Chicken wire is very thin and designed to keep chickens inside; most animals can easily tear it apart from the outside. Instead, it was necessary to use 1/2 hardware cloth to keep out small animals like mice and snakes and cattle fencing to keep out larger predators. Keep in mind that some animals like fox and coyote can easily dig a couple of feet in a few minutes. stretching the fabric or wire down into the ground usually prevents them from digging past the fence. My experience tells me that predators are lazy and will always go for the easiest food available and leave the hens alone if they have to work too hard for it.

A caged roof over the track keeps those pesky climbing and flying predators away. A predator-proof chicken coop can keep out aerial threats like owls, hawks, and other birds of prey. Yes, birds of prey can fly with your chickens. Even the Orpington chicken, which is quite a large breed! In most cases, cheap nets will work unless you have a problem with animals jumping over the fence and attacking your babies.

In conclusion, your location decides what it takes to make a predator-proof chicken coop. Different areas and settings have different predators and dangers. Sometimes an electric fence is required, especially if you are in an area that has bears and bobcats as predators. Not many animals will go beyond the first blow, surprise them!

your connected world

How connected is your individual world? Think of all the devices you own, how many of them have an Internet connection, either directly or via Wi-Fi? Most of you will think of your laptop, cell phone, tablet, and desktop computer and you’ll be right, all of these have internet connection. The “cloud” is what connects all of these together. In cloud storage, you sign up with a service that provides storage for all your files. So no matter what device you use, you have access to them.

Now let’s think about other things that might have access to the Internet, like your car, garage door, front door, thermostat, and other appliances. Some of these may already have Internet access, others will surely in the next few years.

So now the big question; Is your Connected World secure now and for years to come? Here are some security items to keep in mind:

  • Every online account you have should have a strong and unique password, use at least 14 characters.
  • If you use online storage, make sure it’s secure and encrypted.
  • Consider a password manager to manage all your passwords; They even work with tablets and cell phones.
  • If you use Wi-Fi, make sure your router has a unique password and uses modern security settings.
  • When buying new appliances, vehicles, etc. if they have Internet connections, protect them from the start using strong passwords and device security settings.
  • You should consider using “two-factor” authentication for banking and investments. Two-factor authentication is where you enter your unique and secure password, then the institution will send you a unique code to log in. This will be sent via text message or email. It will be valid only for a short period of time.

The above is not all inclusive. Its goal is to make you think about the security and importance of your passwords. If you use a password manager, and you must, make sure your master password is unique, containing uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. And above all, remember that if you don’t have a password, you won’t be able to recover it.

The easier things try to become for us, the more complicated things become. This is something we cannot stop. So build a good, solid security foundation and the rest will add to your already good security practices.

You should also change your passwords on some kind of schedule; you probably don’t have to change all your passwords, just the ones that would cost you the most loss.

Marinate or macerate? Definitions and a Recipe for Tea-Soaked Strawberries and Blueberries

As cooks become more experienced, they learn new techniques and terms. I have been cooking for decades and have a pretty good understanding of both. But if you’re still a stranger to the kitchen you may not be familiar with techniques or terms, especially similar ones like marinate and marinate.

So what is the difference? When you marinate foods, you submerge them in a liquid mixture to flavor and soften them. Teriyaki marinade is a good example. You can buy this marinade, a combination of soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, cooking oil, and ginger, but I don’t think it’s as good as homemade. In a word, homemade tastes fresher.

According to the Epicurious website, the word marinade means “soaking food such as meat, fish, or vegetables in a seasoned liquid mixture.” The marinade adds flavor to meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables. The website warns against marinating food in an aluminum container. To avoid a chemical reaction between acid and aluminum, you should always marinate food in a glass, ceramic, or stainless steel container.

In her book, “A Matter of Taste,” Sylvia Windle Humphrey refers to marinades as “beauty dips that touch up cheap cuts of meat and leftovers.” What a description! According to Hunphrey, marinades work just as well with expensive cuts of meat as they do with cheaper ones. She says the process originated with ocean-going ships that marinated fish in brine to preserve it.

Marinating refers to the same process, soaking food in a seasoned liquid to infuse flavor, but the term applies to fruit. The Epicurious website says that “a liquor such as brandy, rum, or liqueur is usually in the mash.” This recipe for Macerated Strawberries and Blueberries Soaked in Black Current Tea is easy and incredibly delicious. You can add raspberries if you like.

Ingredients

1/3 cup boiling water
1 black currant tea bag
1/2 cup reduced sugar strawberry jam (raspberry can be substituted)
1 tablespoon of honey
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup quartered strawberries
1 cup of blueberries

method

Boil water in microwave. Add the tea bag and steep for 4-5 minutes. Beat together strawberry jam, honey and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth. Gently add the strawberries and blueberries to the sauce and marinate for an hour. Serve in highball glasses and top with sweetened whipped cream or pour over vanilla ice cream. If you’re feeling adventurous, pour the fruit and syrup over warm waffles. Make four servings.

Tours Travel

Peking Sideboard

The variety of foods that can be enjoyed in San Francisco is remarkably wide: Italian, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. However, I can’t list them all. Even compared to New York City, San Francisco’s variety of food doesn’t lose its excellence.

Plus, the cost of enjoying these fabulous foods is incredibly reasonable. I find buffet-style restaurants to be the most profitable. About two years ago, we found a very good Asian buffet restaurant, the Beijing Buffet, near the San Francisco airport. I referred to various rating sites before writing this article, and the ratings varied from person to person. However, the overall rating was average. My own experience at this restaurant has been good, and my wife and mother-in-law love it too. Because my wife is a Chinese American who was born in China, her sense of taste for authentic Chinese food is trustworthy.

My wife and I like this place because of the size of the buffet and the variety of foods on offer. There are five large buffet tables that keep the food hot. Along the right wall of the square restaurant is the sushi, sashimi, shrimp, crab and fresh seafood counter. The other counter offers hot and cold Asian and European desserts. At the end of the dessert counter, there are automatic ice cream dispensers that offer the following flavors: vanilla, chocolate or a mixture of both.

Each buffet table has its own categories of food:
1) hot vegetables and cold salads,
2) fish and shellfish,
3) Chinese and American style poultry,
4) fried rice, noodles and rice soup, and
5) Steamed, fried or boiled dumplings and Chinese-style meat buns.

Some restaurants offer a regular menu in addition to a buffet. Beijing Buffet does not have a regular menu. However, a barbecue bar is part of the buffet service offered by this restaurant. They have a buffet menu for both lunch and dinner. My wife isn’t too keen on barbecue, but I love it. It’s like ordering an omelette to your liking during breakfast in a hotel. The buffet includes options of beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, fish, vegetables, tomatoes, bean sprouts and more. Although some buffet-style restaurants don’t have lobster or crab at lunch, this place offers all kinds of food for both lunch and dinner.

You can also ask the chef to make your dish spicier, sweeter, or saltier. Mr. Choi, who works in the grill section, became my friend because he thinks I order more choices in my food than other people. If you like grilled fish or jumbo shrimp, you can ask for it to be skewered. If you want to eat Chinese buns, which are called pao, Mr. Choi can grill them for you. He makes only pork pao, pork and vegetable pao, and only vegetable pao, or sweet pao.

Finally, you can order Chinese grilled egg noodles with your choice of meat, seafood, vegetables, or a combination of these options. You can also choose thick egg noodles, thin egg noodles, or rice noodles.

My personal “social dilemma” and how to use this creepy feature to create Facebook ads that convert

There is a docu-drama on Netflix that has gotten a lot of attention and caused many people to completely delete their Facebook accounts.

It apparently shows all the sneaky ways social platforms collect and use your data, force you to keep coming back, and even influence you to some degree.

I don’t know. I haven’t seen it

But I had my own ‘social dilemma’ a few years ago.

In mid-2018, I got a random call from a reporter in the UK who said he had Facebook data (millions of users) on his hands that the powers that be weren’t too keen on.

He called my cell phone, he knew where I lived in 2014, he knew who I lived with and he also knew our personality traits with respect to the other.

It was pretty…creepy to say the least.

Not only did it give me a good reason to delete Facebook, but it also showed me the incredible power of its algorithm.

Which, if you’re using it to advertise, you can take advantage of.

Because that same data makes Facebook extremely good at finding people who will take certain actions that you want them to take.

However, it can also work against you.

When you create a new campaign in Ads Manager, you’ll be presented with 11 different options. And many of them sound like what you want. But like I said, Facebook is really good at finding people who will do what you tell them to.

If you set up a ‘Reach’ campaign, you will reach a lot of people at a very low price.

If you set up an ‘Engagement’ campaign, you’ll get a lot of people liking, commenting, and sharing.

If you set up a ‘Traffic’ campaign, you’ll get a lot of people who like to click on the link, but not do much else.

You almost always want to use the “Conversions” campaign objective if you’re looking for leads and/or sales in your ads.

I can’t tell you how many clients I’ve attracted who are running other types of campaigns that just aren’t generating any results.

You see, every time someone becomes a lead or buys from another advertiser, Facebook tags that person as a “lead” or “buyer.” That way, when you tell Facebook what you’re looking for, it can show your ads to those people first, since they’re more likely to take that specific action.

Beginner Pickleball Paddle Reviews

Pickleball Paddle Reviews

If you are looking for a paddle that is specifically made for beginners, you’ve come to the right place. A beginner pickleball paddle will help you achieve control and precision with each stroke. The most important factor in a quality pickleball paddle is the grip. It should be comfortable and small enough to maintain control for longer periods of time.

If you are a new player, a midweight paddle might be your best option. These paddles are lightweight but have a great feel and are ideal for beginner players. They are typically between 7.6 and 7.8 ounces and have a composite face. They are also made to be very quiet, which is essential for beginners.

You should also consider how heavy you want your paddle to be. It is important to note that the heavier a paddle is, the more energy it takes to swing the ball. A heavier paddle will result in a slower swing, which will make it more difficult for beginners to master their shots. Lightweight paddles are also a great choice if you are still learning how to hit finesse shots.

Beginner Pickleball Paddle Reviews

Another consideration is the price. It is best to get a paddle that is affordable for beginner use. You don’t want to spend too much money for your first pickleball paddle. However, you can always upgrade to a higher-quality pickleball paddle. Thankfully, there are plenty of Best pickleball paddles for beginners available on the market that are relatively cheap. A beginner pickleball paddle can be bought for less than $100.

In addition to being relatively inexpensive, a beginner pickleball paddle set will also allow you to enjoy a game with your family. A set of two can save a lot of money over buying separate paddles. The Westop Top Basic Pickleball Paddle Set is one option if you’re looking for an affordable, yet functional set. The paddles are made of wood and don’t come with edge guards. They also tend to be quite loud and will not provide the best control and accuracy.

A beginner pickleball paddle set should be lightweight and feature an ergonomic grip. Unlike a traditional tennis racket, a paddle with a lightweight construction is easier to handle and has a lower profile. Despite the lightweight design, this paddle set is incredibly durable, and comes with a one-year warranty.

Beginner pickleball paddles should have an edge guard for added protection and control. Beginners hit the ground more often than elite players, so a paddle with an edge guard will last longer. It will also be quieter than a typical tennis racket. Beginners should also make sure that the paddle has an edge guard so they don’t hit the ground with their paddles.
