Should you pick your own lottery numbers or buy a quick pick ticket?

Do people win the lottery more often when they pick their own numbers? Or is a quick pick random ticket the same thing?

Quick pick tickets are certainly a popular and convenient way to play the lottery. But surely your chances should be better if you carefully select the numbers yourself. It is not like this?

Some definitely believe that it is an art to pick lottery numbers. While others would use that by using numbers that came to them in a dream or some other esoteric way, they will clearly be winners.

It is certainly true that the use of your ‘chosen numbers’, regardless of how they have been selected, gives a certain sense of control over the lottery. And it will definitely create a reassuring feeling that you were right if your ‘system’ wins even a smaller prize. But the true picture requires a step back to see events more clearly.

States and countries around the world spend a lot of money on their lottery machines and staff. They go a long way in ensuring that the draw is fair to all players. And that means they do everything they can to ensure that the draw is random.

But aside from this effort, also consider that the numbers we pick are really just marks on a ball (for most lotteries).

So the ball with the number 7 will be drawn more often because many people think that 7 is a lucky number? No. Because it is actually the balls that come out of the drawing machine, not the numbers. The numbers themselves have no way of affecting the outcome of the draw at all.

The fact is that a quick pick ticket actually has exactly the same chance of winning as a ticket made up of carefully selected lucky numbers. Just like a ticket created by a ‘smart’ computer program. Or a ticket created by any other means.

It may not be as much fun, but if you’re in a hurry, a quick pick won’t hurt your chances of winning the lottery.

The Chronicles of Madness – Episode 50

In our 50th episode of Madness Chronicles, we’ll take a look at the madness in today’s military. Remember, insanity is a state of serious mental illness, extremely foolish behavior, and a form of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at some really maddening things in today’s military.

We’ll start with news close to home. I am a Vietnam Navy Veteran, and a local friend of mine is as well. He was a gunner in Nam. He had a successful life, raised three productive children and is a retired builder. He knows when he’s in trouble, which is why he registered with the VA State PTSD clinic. One day he is in group therapy with other vets when a boy our age walks in wearing a dress and a bag.

He quickly walks up to my friend, who said, “Touch me and I’ll knock you out!” They then selected my friend and within a day told him to leave the show or they were going to press ‘hate crime’ charges against him. He chose to never come back. Wokeness has won the VA.

In a recent headline, I read that my Marine Corps worked to develop a new, better-fitting, lightweight uniform for PT, fitness training. Is that news today? They have announced that the man who sold N-95 masks to the VA for $25 per mask has been arrested in more VA news. The charge, price gouging. I have an idea. How about firing the jerk buyer at the VA who approved the purchase?

The Navy has removed the Commander of the destroyer Forrest Sherman. He was relieved of command five days before the scheduled change of command ceremony. Her heinous act of him? A year ago, the Forrest Sherman intercepted and loaded weapons to the brim with AK-47s meant for bad guys. As his command was coming to an end, he thought it appropriate to make a plaque for his crew and the ship. The plate would feature an AK-47. Therefore, his career in the Navy is ruined and his life will not go well either.

The thousands of National Guard troops sent to DC so Biden can have someone at his inauguration are not having a great time. First, as most know, there were no housing plans and they slept in parking lots. Now food contractors have fallen short, so Guard troops are now ordering takeout from local restaurants. Which I guess is good for business during the fake pandemic lockdown.

In more ‘shoot me now’ news, the Army is under attack for not allowing soldiers to grow beards. An online petition was started and garnered 55,000 signatures to try to force the Army to comply. With Jihad Joe’s anointing, they might be forced to relent. Talk about madness; the military purpose has nothing to do with being a social experiment.

When the military first started with their ‘time out’ cards, where a recruit can give a card to DI and ask for space, the late and highly decorated Army Veteran David Hackworth said it best in an interview on Fox News. When asked about the new ‘timeouts’, he said: “I hope the Chinese recognize these jokes when they attack, or we’re in big trouble.” How right you are.

Let’s end with some good news. Beards may not yet be allowed under the Army’s new dress guidelines, but Army men can now wear clear nail polish and dye their hair. In honor of Mr. Hackworth, I bet the Chinese troops will be impressed.

May we wake up from this madness before it’s too late. I wish you good health and until next time, have fun, enjoy life and beware of the madness among us. it’s 2020; Look around; It is scandalous

Venice Restaurant – Bacaro Jazz

How many restaurants are there in Venice? Hard to count, but considering that more than 3.5 million tourists visit Venice every year, you can easily imagine that the restaurant business in Venice can be very profitable, hence the huge market. Venice restaurants originally specialized only in seafood cuisine, but have now differentiated to include an eclectic variety of offerings; from Chinese to Indian restaurants, passing through the fashionable nouvelle cooking, Arab and Japanese cuisine, Venice tries to resemble the big metropolises where you can find all kinds of food;

Of all the Restaurants in Venice, Bacaro Jazz is probably the most original and innovative; together with one of the latest and best open kitchens in Venice, guarantees excellent satisfaction for every customer. Open since December 1997, Alfredo, Nicole and staff have made Bacaro Jazz one of Venice’s must-see restaurants and attractions; Over the years, the restaurant has continuously renovated the kitchen and the decoration of the restaurant; once it opened, it looked like a typical Venetian “trattoria”, where locals drank “ombre” (glasses of house wine) and ate “cicchetti” (Venetian tapas appetizers); the owner Alfredo had another idea for the place and through continuous improvements and revolutions of the Menu and decoration, today it has one of the best Venetian and international cuisines in Venice recommended by the most prestigious travel and restaurant guides;

The restaurant and cocktail bar is open from 4 pm to 3 am and features the last open kitchen in Venice; the Bacaro Jazz menu offers a delicious smorgasbord of local dishes; some of the highlights are Saor and salt cod, Venetian-style pasta and beans with boiled salami and cuttlefish in black ink sauce with polenta; It also offers International Cuisine in which the raw beef carpaccio with balsamic vinegar and Parmesan cheese, the red chicory tagliatelle with duck sauce and aromatic herbs and the white sea bass fillet wrapped in raw ham in tomato sauce with stewed onion stand out. Don’t forget to accompany your meal with a good bottle of wine; you can choose from a Brunello di Montalcino to a tasty Valpolicella for red or a fresh Malvasia if you choose white wine;

Happy hour begins at 4:00 pm and guests can sample two from a great selection of long drinks and cocktails for the price of one. At Bacaro Jazz you can enjoy the fabulous Frabellini drink, the traditional Bellini with a sweet addition of Fragolino; when the shadows begin to cover the city this bar in Venice begins to fill its high chairs and the chattering customers will order a Mojito cocktail, a Coffee Martini, the homemade “Sex & Sax” and a wide variety of spirits and long drinks; for couples who want some privacy, they will sit down since the restaurant opens its doors to the bar from 11 pm;

The jazz music filling the air couldn’t be more appropriate for this late-night restaurant in Venice; dim lights, table candles and wall posters of the greatest jazz masters, give Bacaro Jazz a unique and memorable atmosphere; the decor is truly unique, drawings and customer testimonials adorn the walls; but if you look up at the ceiling you’ll see something like 500 bras dangling! There are several myths about how the “let yourself hold” started, if you’re lucky, Alfredo will share the secret with you; now, every time a customer drops off a bra, they get a very nice t-shirt that says “I left my bra at Bacaro Jazz and I only have this t-shirt left.”
