The best retirement income for 2021

There are two types of income you can have (according to the IRS). That is active (or earned) income or passive (unearned) income. The difference is in how it is obtained and how it is taxed

How to earn money in retirement

Active income is money you exchange your work for. I do it part time.

The easiest way to supplement your retirement income is to simply keep working, whether full or part time. Assuming you are physically and mentally capable of continuing to work. Being mentally capable is very important. If you’re dissatisfied with your retirement job or don’t like what you’re doing, it can have an adverse effect on your physical health.

Active or income from work can be done almost immediately, but passive income takes time to be generated and usually requires some upfront investment.

Everyone knows how to generate active income. You work for it and you get paid for your work. That’s what many retirees do, including me, whether full or part time. In fact, I worked part-time for about ten years in the same profession from which I retired.

What I want to mention is passive income. It takes some work to get it started, but once the money starts coming in, there may be very little you need to do except maintenance to keep it running.

If you are willing to put in some research, learning time, and money, NOTHING BETTER PASSIVE INCOME..

How to generate passive income?

Passive income is what you do not exchange your work for. This could include investments, residual income, affiliate income, or rental income.

passive income it always takes a while to get started. As I mentioned, getting into this type of income stream is very dependent on how quickly you need extra money. I have listed four sources of passive income and there are probably many more, but these may give you something to think about.

investment income: People who have invested in the stock market, either directly or through mutual funds, have made a lot of money since November 2016.

Investing in the stock market probably involves the greatest financial risk, and if done carefully, it can be the most lucrative. There is tons of information that could be useful in helping you make an informed investment decision.

Personally, I would start by learning how to invest and then start with a small amount of money that I could lose and not worry about. It may be beneficial to do some simulated stock trading to learn how the process works.

Affiliate Marketing: Building an online business takes a long time. Every overnight success story you hear comes after months or years of research, study, and hard work. But if you have an idea for a service or product that can be done online, it may be worth the effort to pursue it. Think Angie’s list, eBay or Facebook.

Affiliate marketing requires the skills and knowledge to develop a website and content that fits the There are many Amazon online merchants that offer affiliate programs. Do a search for a niche, products or services that you would consider.

Rental income: If you have enough money to buy a few rental units, this may be the best way to supplement your retirement income and leave a legacy for your family. Do some research on multi-family housing, apartments, or commercial properties and see what’s available in your area. I know a guy who took equity out of his house to buy a rental unit. It worked for him, but it’s an idea that might not be for everyone.

Don’t jump into being a homeowner without learning how to do it. There is much more than just buying a property and renting it out. There are government regulations to comply with and tax regulations to be taken into account.

If you decide to own, find out about buying and owning rental units. Get a spreadsheet to plug in some numbers to see how specific properties will generate income. Learn about the tenant/landlord laws in your area and get advice from a real estate professional you trust.

The finishing touch in any bathroom: towel rails and towel rails

Towel racks and towel racks being the finishing touch in any bathroom is definitely not an accident. While you could possibly simply place your towels on the edge of the sink or over the shower rod, these items can really turn an ordinary bathroom into something extraordinary.

When shopping for towel rails or towel racks, experts may recommend selecting styles that match your bathroom décor.

For example, towel racks and towel racks should match the color and finish of your fixtures. That means a copper grate for a copper sink faucet. Of course, you can vary this general rule, choosing a white porcelain or wood shelf or bar, which really goes with just about anything. But for those new to interior design, you can’t go wrong when these have matching colors and finishes.

Another important consideration is purchasing racks and bars that are large enough to hold the towels. Most towel bars and towel racks come in standard sizes: 7-inch, 12-inch, 18-inch, and 24-inch. Traditionally, a 7-inch bar or rack is made for hand towels and washcloths, while larger ones are made for bath towels. If you have a slightly smaller wall, you may need to cut a larger shelf or bar to the correct width. You can easily do this with a hacksaw or, if they are made of wood, a wood hacksaw.

In many cases, you will want to get a rack that can hold more than one towel. This is even more important if you share a bathroom with another person. Everyone will want a place to hang and dry their towel. Fortunately, manufacturers make many different styles of multi-level racks and bars.

Towel racks and towel racks by the sink are a bit more challenging. Space is often limited, so you may need to opt for a smaller shelf than you had planned. However, a multi-tiered rack, even a smaller one, will fill the bill nicely, allowing you to put hand towels and wash towels within easy reach.

To really hit a home run, you need to make sure they’re installed correctly. If you’ve ever tried to make the two sides of a shelf match up and look even, you know it can be difficult. In the old days you either looked at it and said it was good enough or you took a yardstick and measured from where the ceiling and wall meet and hoped the ceiling was level. Today, you don’t have to improvise. You can buy a laser level at any home improvement store that makes setting up towel racks and towel rails a breeze. All you have to do is use the built-in level to make sure the fixture is plumb, then mark the holes for wall mounting. It’s a perfect match every time. This works even if you have cathedral ceilings, where the measurement of a wall is almost impossible.

While shopping for the perfect towel rack or bar, many consumers have opted to shop online. There’s a huge selection there, much more than you’ll find at your local home improvement or hardware store, and the search feature on retailer sites makes locating the perfect ones quick and easy.

Cheap tires: should I buy them or not?

Let’s face it, we all know that the economy is not the best. Everything we buy today has gone up in price, but our wages remain the same. Due to this fact, we have become much more conservative in our spending and have tried to reduce our spending in every possible way. So should we worry if we are buying a cheaper set of tires for our cars?

Well, before we get into too much detail, let’s talk about what tires do. A car’s tires are filled with air and provide a barrier between the car and the road. The tire’s tread also provides traction for braking and cornering, as well as grip when we need it. Tread design and tire compound can drastically change tire performance.

Now that we know what tires do, let’s talk about tire guidelines and safety ratings. The first thing we look at is the load capacity. Each tire must be marked with a load rating such as P for passenger tires or LT for light truck tires, for example. What this means is that the tire meets the requirements to handle that load for the rating it is assigned. The next rating is the speed rating. The lowest rating is L, which is up to 75 mph and is typically found on off-road truck tires. The ratings go up from there. Here is a list of the ratings:

L 75 mph 120 km/h Off-Road and Light Truck Tires
M 81 mph 130 km/h
N 87 mph 140 km/h Temporary spare tires
P 93 mph 150 km/h
Q 99 mph 160 km/h Studded and non-studded winter tires
R 106 mph 170 km/h HD Light Truck Tires
S 112 mph 180 km/h Sedans and family vans
T 118 mph 190 km/h Sedans and family vans
U 124 mph 200 km/h
H 130 mph 210 km/h Sport sedans and coupes
V 149 mph 240 km/h Sports sedans, coupes, and sports cars

Ok, now you have information about what tires do and how they are classified. Remember that tires must be tested and meet the requirements before they can be classified. So, back to the question at hand: can I put cheap tires on my car? The answer is of course you can. You just need to remember to meet the minimum rating required for your vehicle. Most passenger cars, for example, only require basic ratings. While a Ford F-250 as another example requires 10-ply LT tires. You must put the minimum required tire that is on your door tag. So on the Ford truck, for example, you couldn’t put a P-rated or passenger tire.

Inexpensive tires will often suit your needs and perform just as well as more expensive tires. However, with cheap tires you sacrifice a few things, like ride quality for example in some cases. You may also sacrifice tire life. Tires also have mileage ratings. In most cases, all-season or summer tires are typically rated for 40,000 miles. However, this does not mean that you will earn that many miles. It really depends on driving habits and where you live. To be honest, it might be a no-brainer for a lot of people if you have a cheap brand of tire that sells for $75.00 and has a 40,000 mile rating versus an expensive brand that sells for $150.00 and has a 50,000 rating, most people would consider keeping the extra $300.00 for themselves. in your pocket and sacrificing a bit on ride quality and tire wear. It really is a personal decision.

Tomatoes – Jewels of the Garden

Tomatoes are the jewels of the garden. There’s nothing quite like a juicy, ripe tomato picked at the height of its growing season, mostly summer through fall. Did you have a bumper crop of tomatoes this year? Do you sneak out at night to leave grocery bags of ripe tomatoes at your neighbor’s door? Are you at least leaving them a recipe card?

Although tomatoes offer plenty of juicy health benefits, their biggest selling point is lycopene, a carotenoid associated with a lower risk of macular degeneration and various cancers, including prostate, cervical, skin, breast, and lung.

Tomatoes are best stored outside of the refrigerator. Partially ripe tomatoes will ripen in a few days at room temperature. Once ripe, tomatoes will keep for up to two days without refrigeration. If you have too many to eat or give away, store them in the warmest part of your refrigerator. Then allow them to come back to room temperature before eating for optimal flavor.

Gently wash tomatoes in cold water before eating. Slice them up to eat plain or with salt and pepper. Drizzle with a little olive oil. Stack them on a whole wheat sandwich or add a slice to a grilled cheese sandwich. Chop and mix tomatoes into fresh salads or add them to salsas, soups or chilis. You can even throw them on the grill or under the broiler. There is no wrong way to eat a tomato!

Instead of pawning your extra tomatoes on your friends and neighbors, why not cook up some amazing new dishes?

Cut the tomatoes into quarters lengthwise. Using your fingers, discard the seeds.

Transfer the tomatoes to a blender. Add the vinegar, sugar, garlic and paprika and puree until smooth. Remove the center cap and, with the blender motor running, add oil in a steady stream, mixing well. Spice with salt and pepper. Make 1 1/2 cups.

Spring Health Tips

Prepare for allergy season

If you don’t want to be stuck using antihistamines all spring, consider some natural therapies. For example, certain allergies are related to certain foods; by eliminating those foods, even hay fever can be eliminated. Cleanses, especially candida, liver or colon cleanses, can also be very effective in relieving allergies, as can homeopathics.

Consider becoming an early riser

Studies have shown that people who wake up earlier are healthier than night owls who miss out on morning light altogether. Especially after our long winter without light, it will be good for you to take advantage of the morning light and the vitamin D it provides. Vitamin D (when combined with a healthy diet) has been found to reduce the incidence of colorectal cancer by two-thirds.

Get dirty

This has a few different connotations – feel free to explore whatever meaning you give to “dirty” (spring fever anyone?). However, I mean dirty in the most literal sense. Who here does not remember playing in puddles as a child? Heck, who doesn’t remember EATING mud when he was a kid? Exposure to a little dirt is not only good for your inner child (and your outer children), but exposure to bacteria is important for building a healthy immune system. So get out there and play in the mud!

eat seasonally

It’s the season to eat spring vegetables! When choosing vegetables, opt for a mix of flavors: mild, sour, hot, and spicy. A good example is a mix of dandelion greens, arugula, endive, frisée, radicchio, and endive. Spring greens are great for healthy bones and the digestive system, as they increase digestive juices and enzymes in the liver, pancreas, and stomach. Eat them before dinner to improve your overall health.

stop and smell the tulips

Even if you don’t know how to meditate, one of the most valuable principles is to live in the present. I realize you have a lot to do, we all do, but stop once in a while and just enjoy all the beauty in your life. Just do what you’re doing, just know where you are. Stop doing so many tasks at once and just be. Additionally, research shows that being outdoors can have benefits for both physical and mental health. So breathe everything in and stop worrying about everything, at least for a while.

Spring is full of transition and promise. enjoy it. If you need help with allergies, cleanings, or setting some goals to take advantage of the newness of spring, consult a holistic health professional.

Buy Property in Myanmar – Property Information

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar, commonly known as Myanmar, is a sovereign country in Southeast Asia. After the army began to relinquish its control over the government and after the release of human rights activist Aung San Suu Kyi, there has been a rapid improvement in the country’s foreign relations. Trade has improved and economic sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union have also been lifted. This triggered an influx of foreign investors and real estate prices in Myanmar skyrocketed. The purpose of this article is to provide information to those wishing to purchase property in Myanmar regarding property tenure/ownership and restrictions placed on foreign ownership.

Buy property in Myanmar – Tenure/property

Myanmar’s 2008 constitution guarantees the right of private property and inheritance to citizens under the Land and Revenue Act, 1879, subject to payment of taxes, government authority to acquire land for public requirements, and government control over minerals and mines. .

Freehold land can be transferred and inherited and is exempt from land income. Such land can be expropriated only if it is in the public interest, but the owner must receive adequate compensation. Freehold land is mainly available in larger towns and cities.

Concession land is granted or leased by the government for a period of 10 to 90 years. Rights can be transferred and land revenues are applicable to the concession holder. Mainly, concession land is available in towns and cities.

A license is required to own agricultural land. The application submitted by a foreigner must be approved by the Foreign Investment Commission. In addition, the president has the power to stipulate how land should be used and administered, according to the Land Nationalization Law of 1953. Land is generally classified according to its use, and different regulations apply for different uses.

Buy property in Myanmar – Restrictions placed on property by foreigners

Foreigners, as well as foreign-owned businesses, cannot purchase land and condominiums. According to the Real Property Transfer Restriction Act of 1987 (TIPRL), citizens cannot transfer real property to foreigners. Therefore, foreigners cannot accept mortgages as collateral. However, the TIPRL is not applicable to companies/organizations that have entered into contracts with the State.

Foreigners can obtain the right to use the land through a lease with the government or by contributing to form a joint venture with one of the government agencies. Foreigners who invest in real estate development typically enter into an agreement with the government to build, operate, and transfer the property. An investor can implement any ‘build, operate and transfer project’ in sole ownership or by partnering with a government agency as a joint venture.

The new Foreign Investment Law of 2012 which replaced the old Myanmar Foreign Investment Law 10/1988, investors can lease land for up to 50 years. The lease can be renewed consecutively for ten years twice. The Myanmar Investment Commission can grant even better lease terms if the investor is willing to invest in economically underdeveloped areas.

The government does not grant leases on religious land, land restricted for state security reasons, and land that is in dispute. The state may also reject leases for land in urban residential areas if the investor’s business is likely to affect the environment through pollution, noise, or culture.

Tea "Secret" Signals between referees in Australian rules football

In the Australian National Football (AFL) competition, each game has nine referees who act as a team to adjudicate the rules of the game. There are three field referees, four boundary referees and two goal referees. In order to create a successful game from their perspective, they must work as a team during the game. At different points in the game, the field and boundary umpires; the field and goal officials and, lastly, the goal and boundary officials function as small teams within the game.

These working relationships are favored by the use of signals between each group to guarantee the proper development of the game.

Initially, it is the responsibility of the goal referees to get the team to the oval on time and to ensure that each of the other referees is properly dressed and has their equipment. (Whistles, pen and report forms). Once on the field, with the game ready to start, the field officials take control.

Following is a discussion of how each group of referees communicates during a game.

Field to Field Umpires:

An umpire will start each section of the play and control the play until it gets too far away, whereupon they will verbally deliver the play by saying “Yours” to the umpire closest to the play and then move to their next position on the field. If he wants to maintain control due to a disruption in play, he pats himself on the back, usually three times, while the other umpires adjust their adjudication position for the next continuation of play.

The field umpire in control of the play will give signals designed for the players. These could involve a play and signal or a signal to indicate a free kick and why it was awarded.

Range and Boundary Umpires:

The boundary referee decides when the ball crosses the boundary line. He indicates this by blowing his whistle and raising his arm/s to indicate how the ball crossed the boundary line.

If the ball goes out of bounds after bouncing, the boundary umpire raises his arm vertically while blowing the whistle to indicate that the ball is out of bounds. The field officials blow their whistle and signal a throwing action over their head to signal the boundary official to put the ball back into play.

If the ball completely flies over the boundary line, the boundary officials raise both arms parallel to the ground and indicate where the ball crosses the boundary line for the field referee to place the opposing player on the mark to allow a free kick to be taken . taken by the attacking player.

If the ball goes over the boundary line but was touched in flight, the boundary official raises one arm vertically and hits his raised arm three times to indicate that it was touched. Then, if it looks like you were kicked all the way but came off your leg above the knee, the boundary umpire will tap your knee three times to indicate this is happening.

When the ball is in the back post area, there are three scenarios. Is it so:

  • Out of bounds completely when hitting the back post; (The boundary umpire’s arms are stretched parallel to the ground and the back post is touched..)

  • Out of bounds hitting the back post square but touched; (J)The boundary umpire hits the post and then indicates that it was tagged by hitting its raised arms three times)Y

  • Out of bounds hitting the back post after dribbling in the game. (The bounds umpire raises his arm to indicate that the ball is out of bounds.)

The goal referee can help in these situations by giving signals to the boundary referee:

  • Outside arm raised parallel to the ground to indicate that the ball is completely out or hits the back post completely. It will also touch the post.

  • If the ball is simply out of bounds, raise your outside arm vertically. Again, if you hit the post after rebounding, you’ll also hit the back post.

Field and goal referees;

When a goal umpire detects a score, they will move towards the goal line, stop, and wait for the field umpire to call “all clear.” There are five scenarios here. Is it so

  • A goal is scored; (The field referee will place both hands on either side of your face and call “all clear”).

  • A rear is marked; (The field referee will put a hand to his face and say “all clear”).

  • The ball is touched in flight; (The field umpire will put one hand to his face, then raise one arm vertically and hit it with the other hand while yelling “tag, all clear”).

  • The field referee is not sure. (He puts both arms behind his back and says “all clear” indicating that it is the goal referee’s decision).

Once the go-ahead is given, the goal referee will indicate the result. Sometimes he will indicate that the ball has been hit or has hit the goal post by mirroring similar signals made by other referees.

Line and goal referees:

The goal and boundary officials exchange signals. They include:

  • The goal referee chest-beating to charge a rear has been noted to indicate that the boundary referee may move along the boundary line ready for play to resume. If the goal umpire advances for an “all clear” from the field umpire, he is signaling to the boundary umpire that a goal has been scored and that he and his fellow boundary umpire must retrieve the ball to return it to the center square.

  • The goal referee taps the butt to indicate that he knows that the boundary is placed next to the back post.

  • The goal umpire receives a call from the boundary umpire to tell him that he is in his place next to the back post.

  • The boundary umpire points to the back or goal area to indicate that a goal has been scored to the goal umpire.

  • Lastly, when a confusing situation occurs in the goal area, the goal referee steps over the goal line to the field referee to indicate that they need to conference with all the referees in the immediate vicinity.

In referee training, all of these scenarios are practiced. After each game, “problematic” situations are discussed and the action taken by the various referees is reviewed. Often these “troublesome” situations are rarely experienced by most referees and can affect the outcome of the game. Therefore, the correct procedure for future use is discussed.
