Child Custody Lawyer – Adoption Lawyer – California Divorce Lawyer

Each state has its own regulations regarding family law, and each jurisdiction has its own set of regulations. State laws determine custody rights, spousal support, divorce, and even non-marriage issues such as guardianship, emancipation, and adoption. Attorneys who specialize in family law must have a thorough understanding of the particular statutes of the parties involved. When it comes time to face a life-changing situation, such as a divorce, adoption, or child custody battle, it is extremely important to seek the guidance and experience of a qualified family law attorney in your area.

Adoption:

The adoption of a child is one of the most common forms of adoption today. Children of single parents can be adopted when two people marry and ensure joint power and participation of both spouses in the lives of their children. It is unfortunate, but sometimes insurance policies and inheritance issues are not honored unless a legal connection between stepchildren and stepparents is recognized. Adoption is essentially a way to ensure financial and legal protection for all the children in a family.

Divorce:

A divorce is an important and final step in a relationship that needs to be addressed. Important factors such as financial, medical and emotional implications make this process very difficult. Studies have shown that long-term physical, mental, and social health can deteriorate after a couple divorces. Children are usually the most affected by divorce as their young minds are not as well adjusted as those of adults.

Child Custody:

Since both parents often want to maximize the time they spend with the child, child custody battles can sometimes become very heated. These battles can take a heavy physical, emotional, and financial toll on both parents and children. It is very important that all parents facing a child custody decision prepare for the case so that the personal cost is kept to a minimum and the safety of their child is assured and protected.

If you need help resolving a family problem, you should contact an experienced and dedicated family attorney who will work to protect your legal rights. It is going to be a difficult period of time, but the guidance of an expert attorney will see you through it. Contact a family attorney today.

Holidays in Cayman Islands – Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman, at 78 square miles, is the largest of the three islands that make up the Cayman Islands. It is also the most populated and developed.

George Town is the capital of Grand Cayman and is fairly quiet, except on cruise ship days when every square inch of pavement seems to be occupied. Cruise ships arrive two to three times a week and can arrive as many as four ships at a time. If you’re booking a trip to Stingray City or Rum Point, it’s best to avoid these rush hours.

Like its sister islands, Grand Cayman has a museum, the Cayman National Museum. This building has had a varied past, before it became the home of the museum, it was a courthouse and jail, as well as a place of worship. In fact, the old jail is now the gift shop.

Seven Mile Beach is the main place to be when it comes to most tourists. It is a wide stretch of powder-soft white sand that follows the contours of the west side of the island between George Town and West Bay. This beach is combined with generally calm and clear waters. There is a barrier reef that protects the beach from strong waves and currents, making Seven Mile Beach the ideal place to learn to swim, as it also has a gentle slope that goes into the sea.

Most of the resort hotels can be found on Seven Mile Beach, and while it’s popular, it never seems crowded. But if you want a little more peace and quiet, walk along the beach until you get away from the hotels and condos. This beach is public, so any property built on it must allow people access. This is usually done by building alleyways between hotels and other buildings. Although if you want a sun lounger, you had better be a hotel guest or a client of one of the beach bars!

The other big attraction is Stingray City, which is located on the North Sound. In about 12 feet of warm, clear water, you can get up close to the South Atlantic rays. These fish were attracted to the area as fishermen used the area to clean their catch. This was helped by local divers who offered them snacks. Now they know that a boat means food. If 12 feet seems daunting, they can also be seen at the nearby sandbar, where you can stand waist-deep in water.

Grand Cayman can be reached by direct flights from Heathrow Airport, flying with British Airways. Although the flight is ‘direct’, there is a landing in the Bahamas.

If you need help planning your vacation to the Cayman Islands, contact John Guinn at Holiday Hut. As a trained Cayman specialist, he will ensure that you get the most out of your time there.

Choosing a villa in Barbados

Some villas are located on prestigious golf courses such as Royal Westmoreland, Sandy Lane and Apes Hill Club (soon to open). More luxury villas can be found around the Barbados Golf Club and Rockley Golf Club. These villas are ideal if you want to combine a golf vacation with a few rounds of golf. In these places you will also have easy access to places to swim, dine and shop. If you’re not a golfer and want to experience pure luxury with the full range of personal services included in a private villa overlooking beautiful West Barbados, then you have an incredible range of options. Most of these properties offer magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea and breathtaking sunsets almost every day of the year. All have private pools, and many have easy access to swimming spots, beautiful beaches, and snorkeling opportunities. The easiest way to find one of these properties is to visit one of the websites that offer luxury villas in Barbados for rent. The sites give good descriptions of each villa and have photo galleries highlighting the main features, making it easy to choose your private villa. Barbados villas also come in gated developments with a wide range of services offered to villa owners. These have a service very similar to that of a condominium project with a common restaurant, swimming pool, parking, gym and tennis courts located within the community. These upscale villa communities have concierge services to ensure residents have access to the services they need. A good example of this type of villa development is found in Sugar Hill, which is located near the Royal Westmoreland Golf Club.

Combining the privacy of a luxury villa in Barbados with the comfort of a luxury hotel

My friend Vanessa was recently appointed General Manager of a Luxury Villa Hotel in Barbados and she wanted me to take a look at what she was offering. I love to travel and was curious when she told me that she had something very unusual to offer in the villa market. They were luxury villas with a difference. I decided to take a look and was amazed at the beauty of the place. This was a unique hotel with 22 luxury villas set around beautiful tropical gardens that meandered down to the white sand beach on the west coast of Barbados. He combined the privacy of these luxury villas with the amenities of a luxury hotel, including the renowned Spago restaurant (on site) and a full-service front desk operation. Vanessa was proud to show me this property and I kept thinking that for the first time she was really excited about planning a villa vacation in Barbados. I thought this Barbados beachfront villa hotel looked very appealing, especially since it was located near Holetown, where excellent shopping, several gourmet restaurants, and entertainment were available.

Five Great US Train Journeys

Amtrak’s big, shiny trains travel to major US cities and through some of the country’s most spectacular scenery. Their rugged charm sets them apart from more mundane modes of transportation and while this may not be the fastest way to get around, the pace is perfect for sightseeing. You can pick your mates, read a book, let your thoughts unfold, sleep flat, and generally enjoy most of the comforts of home. It’s much more fun than being isolated above the clouds or driving in front of endless billboards on the highways.

Amtrak operates nearly every passenger train in the United States, and the following are among the most enjoyable scenic routes:

The California Zephyr is one of the best trains in the world, going from Chicago to San Francisco through the heartland of the United States and the high plains of Colorado, then up into the Rocky Mountains via the Oregon Trail. Pioneers came through here, as did prospectors, the pony express, and the first continental telegraph. After Salt Lake City, it crosses the Bonneville Salt Flats and the beautiful but dangerous Sierra Nevada.

The epic journey of the Sunset Limited takes you coast to coast from New Orleans to Los Angeles. The train makes a dizzying crossing of the Mississippi River on the Huey P Long Bridge in Crescent City before traveling past swamps, snowy egrets, alligators, mansions and sugar cane fields. After San Antonio it joins the Rio Grande, taking a day to cross the sagebrush and mesquite prairies of Texas.

The Southwest Chief travels between Chicago and the Pacific, following part of the Santa Fe Trail first used by Native Americans, Spanish conquistadors, caravans and stagecoaches. Cross the Mojave Desert and pass Dodge City’s famous Boot Hill Cemetery. From Williams in Arizona you can travel to the Grand Canyon by train.

The Crescent runs from New York to New Orleans through the Blue Ridge Mountains and idyllic Shenandoah National Park with its dogwoods and cedars. Beyond Atlanta are sleepy southern cities with quaint general stores and sun-bleached homes. The train also makes a dramatic crossing of Lake Pontchartrain, skimming a few feet above the water on a six-mile causeway.

The Coast Starlight operates between Seattle and Los Angeles via Washington, Oregon and California. Pass some of the highest mountains in the United States, such as the Mt Hood volcano, as well as the emerald forests and waterfalls of Twin Peaks country. Beyond San Luis Obispo, it runs along slopes perched high on the cliffs, with splendid views of the Pacific waves and beaches.

Also, the city could be the most suitable place for people who want to organize fantastic activities, for example, any kind of party, anniversaries, gatherings of friends and family, etc. From my hands-on experience and even observation, I would recommend Sam’s Fun City for your personal list of places to go on your own vacation. This specific place is really nice and exciting to be here. Actually, I needed a nice experience here and appreciated celebrating my young cousin’s birthday with my children; today I hope to see the park one more time if I have another chance. What exactly is it that makes this so interesting? I want to tell you what fun and interesting activities Sam’s Fun City has.

Arcade Games on the Gulf Coast

Crossroads Arcade is definitely the name that belongs to an area in Sam’s Fun City where you can enjoy all the arcade games. Truth be told, with a wide range of arcade games, this specific location is probably the best designed for activities within Pensacola. Visitors could certainly receive cash redemption tickets for prizes, play pool, and also play a tricky game of pin-ball. More particularly, you and your other tourists can start playing competitive games, for example, Blue Angels water racing game or challenge the other person with an adrenaline-pumping game of Laser Tag arena.

Sam’s Surf City Water Park

As I said before, Sam’s Fun City is recognized as an amusement park and also a water park. Therefore, it is possible to select the region you want or both. Sam’s Surf City will be the section of the water park that has been voted the best water park in Pensacola in 2008. This park is certainly suitable for the family with more than fifteen thrilling slides, a 750-foot limitless river and a couple of swimming pools for kids. These pools were created primarily for children under the age of 12. Therefore, you can be sure to have fun in a safe and pleasant place for the whole family. The water park in particular gives you the feeling that you have never had before. Also, your little ones have the ability to explore the slides, pair up and also ride bigger slides without too much supervision. Visiting Sam’s Fun City is one of the most exciting things to do in Pensacola.

The dry park for games and attractions

If you are sick and tired of a lot of active games within the water park region, it is possible to visit the dry park to relax your head. The dry park is actually divided into four distinct sections: Kart City, Terry Town, Yester Town, and Western Town. This excellent park offers a variety of 20 rides such as Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Tilt-A-Whirl, Park Train, Scrambler, etc. You could find those interesting rides in Terry Town. Kart City includes the Fun City Expressway, Pensacola’s best family go-kart track, as well as the elegant Big Fun City Grand Prix-style track. Western Ville offers the 18-hole miniature golf class labeled “Play in the Movies.” Inside Yester Ville, adults will be able to discover their favorite moments from the past, such as Antique Cars, Jitter Bug Swinger. Some of those very special activities will thrill friends and family of all ages.

Never be afraid if you are hungry and thirsty.

When you’re in the water park area and feeling peckish from the great deal, don’t forget to stop by the Snack Shack for a gourmet grilled burger or just Nathan’s hot dogs. Sam’s Fun City is also home to Bullwinkle’s Restaurant, located in the Crossroads Arcade, where travelers can get finger-licking treats like burgers, hot dogs, fries, corn dogs, salads and pizza. Specifically in the summer, you can purchase a pizza buffet that has many varieties of pizza for you to enjoy. Plus, Bullwinkle’s Restaurant also offers refreshing Pepsi products and Dipping Dots ice cream, helping you quench your thirst after your challenging and even exciting fun. From my own discovery, I can tell you that the taste of the pizza is very refreshing as if it was freshly made there. So put your mind at ease if you intend to come here just to be entertained or perhaps plan a celebration.

Tips on Living in Houston Galleria Area Apartments

I moved to the Galleria Houston Apartments area in the fall of 1997, into a hotel called the DoubleTree Galleria. This hotel would shape what I thought about Houston, especially the Galleria area. The amenities were nice, the location was luxurious, but the cookies were to die for (I got off to a good start…Doubletree cookies yum!). Let’s talk location; It was right next to the Galleria mall. Coming from Michigan, I didn’t know what the “gallery” was or even heard of the actual mall. When I found out that there was an ice skating rink inside the mall, I was blown away. I thought who builds a giant ice skating rink inside a mall that is already 4 stories high! I realized this was a mall the size of Texas. From the free Doubletree Cookies, Shwarmas, Gyros, and BBQ Ribs, I loved my stay at the Houston Galleria.

After a month at the Hotel, our Corporate apartment was ready at a property called The Essex House Apartments. It was a furnished two-bedroom corporate apartment with daily maid service. I remember having my first Texas burger at Becks Prime. I had my first Texas style Indian food at Kirans (formerly Bombay Palace) and Chinese food at PF Changs. It was nice to eat out almost every night. Numerous trips to Pappasitas, a Mexican restaurant famous for its sizzling fajita plates for two, would soon follow! It was so popular and successful with our family that we became weekly patrons of this great Tex Mex restaurant.

With so many unique retail boutiques and small restaurants you’ve never heard of, it’s no wonder the Houston Galleria area has become such a hit! I miss living in the Galleria area and driving down popular streets like Westheimer Rd. I highly recommend anyone coming to Houston from a city or state far away in the United States to definitely consider Galleria Houston Apartments as their new place to call home!

health insurance review

The cost of health insurance for the average family is huge but necessary in many cases. Every individual’s needs are different, and even when reading health insurance reviews, it can all be very confusing and scary. The opinions of different health insurance companies vary greatly by state, and the options in some states differ from those in others. If you’ve never had to buy health insurance before, the terminology can also be quite difficult to understand.

The Affordable Care Act has been put in place, not only to control skyrocketing health care costs, but also to try to improve the quality of health care. Reforms under the Affordable Care Act have stopped some of the worst abuses by the health insurance industry and given Americans new rights and benefits. As more children get health coverage, annual and lifetime limits on care have ended, and those under 26 can continue to be covered by their parents’ health insurance.

There is still a long way to go for these much-needed changes, but right now, people still have to go through the hassle of finding adequate health coverage for their own needs, and the most important question for an average family is cost. . If there are pre-existing conditions for any of the family members, insurance can be denied, although there is a move to stop that practice by 2014.

Finding health insurance today can often start by looking at insurance reviews online, and the best way to do that is to narrow it down by looking at reviews for your state; otherwise, it’s even more confusing. Some form of health insurance is essential: over 60% of bankruptcies in this country are due to people being unable to pay medical bills.

Women face even greater challenges when it comes to finding an individual insurance plan. Premiums are higher than for men with identical coverage and exclude pregnancy coverage, which must be purchased separately.

Before looking at any health insurance reviews, decide how much debt you can comfortably handle if you have a serious illness or injury. The higher the deductible you can afford, the better, it will lower your premium, but you may end up paying all of your medical bills, real insurance will cover you in the event of a serious illness. If you’ve lost a job but hope to start another where there’s an employer-sponsored plan, simply buy short-term insurance.

Another option may be catastrophic health insurance, which comes in two forms, comprehensive and supplemental. A comprehensive plan offers coverage comparable to more traditional health care plans, with a high deductible and a relatively low monthly cost. A supplemental plan acts as a supplement to other insurance plans you may have.

A good insurance agent will stay on top of all health insurance reviews and know exactly what is available in your state and know which companies to avoid. He will discuss you and your family’s particular needs, discussing your financial situation and then suggesting the best health care policies to meet your needs. Reading health insurance reviews online can give you a little insight, but there’s no substitute for in-depth knowledge and personalized service.

Useful tips for making a pasta recipe

Have you ever discovered the most delicious food you’ve ever tasted? Your answer will probably depend on where you grew up and what kinds of foods you ate as a child, but for most Americans, your answer would be a simple fact. Pasta! Any meal implies a way to comfort and relieve an upset person who has an unpleasant daily schedule. Pasta is offered in many varieties with a variety of sauce types, so it is considered a pasta recipe that is effective for you and practically brings back memories of comfort food, relieving stress and calm if you have endured all the challenging week .

Why is pasta a comfort food?

Pasta is totally rich in starchy carbohydrates; in a way that makes us feel full quickly and gives us a feeling of well-being associated with carbohydrates such as bread and pasta. We get a little high glucose from eating pasta, which is heavy and warm, increasing its comforting and sleep-inducing abilities. It also provides connections with sufficient and caring Italian mothers, and has an emotional influence as well. Because it is low cost, you can eat a lot of pasta and serve a thriving dinner that makes people feel secure as it comes with a large amount of food for everyone.

Different Types of Pasta Recipes

The main types of pasta are divided into the bite-sized pastas in addition to the ribbon pastas. The first category encompasses such foods as bow noodles, spiral noodles, macaroni, and gnocchi. The other shape is made from angel hair and spaghetti. The favorite is the linguine, considering there is no doubt that these longer pastas are definitely more interesting and because the fuller types hold the sauce well. Lasagna is a ribbon pasta, and a perfect lasagna recipe is perhaps one of the best and most successful comfort foods to choose from. Most pastas are made together with semolina flour or finely ground wheat flour, but not all. Gnocchi pasta, for example, is made with potato flour and is also more filling than regular pasta. Pasta is, in fact, eggs and flour, so it’s also very easy to produce from scratch.

types of sauces

The ideal sauces tend to be delicate and complement the pasta without overwhelming the diner. Tomato sauce is very common, and during our camp we usually serve spaghetti and tomato sauce, which is a convenient food for the kids on the first day to help them stay calm. You can make the typical tomato sauce, or add herbs and vegetables to produce a slightly thicker bolx`ognaise. With a decent ground beef recipe, you can pack a little protein and a lot of substance into your pasta recipes. There are also these creamy sauces, like alfredo. A great alfredo sauce recipe is to die for, but sometimes it risks becoming too rich, so it pays to be cautious and select a great recipe or make your own.

The 5 best and worst things about Santorini

There are not many places in the world that take your breath away by the time you arrive at your destination, but Santorini is certainly one of them. You will be amazed at the multicolored cliffs that are cleverly placed for tourists to enjoy the amazing views of the Caldera. It’s a great incentive for millions of travelers to arrive each year, whether it’s for a romantic honeymoon or just to spend a week with friends or family in the sun. However, no place in the world is perfect, and before visiting Santorini, it may also be better to be warned about its main drawbacks, which may scare some people. Here are the 5 best and 5 worst things about Santorini.

5 best things about Santorini

1. Beautiful views

It goes without saying that the views you will see are impressive from most points on the island. If you stay in places like Oia, Imerovigli, Fira or Firostefani, all you have to do is turn your head to the side and take in the views of the Caldera. There are not just a few places to witness a spectacular sight, they are at every point of your journey. Just walking through these villages will be the highlight of your trip, and that’s before you even consider watching the sunset in Oia, or taking the hike to Oia or Skaros Rock. Those three things are obviously worth doing, as you’ll find yourself taking photo after photo after photo. Not just walking, but if you have enough funds, you can stay in a hotel that has these views from your hotel room, balcony or pool, and this is what people think when they come to Santorini. When it comes to beautiful views, it really does have an infamous reputation around the world, and rightfully so.

2. Exquisite Hotels and Restaurants

This comes into play with the beautiful views mentioned above, but many of the hotels and restaurants are cliffside and make your vacation a dream. For restaurants, the service, the quality of the food, the views are all impeccable. Lots of variation in the type of food to eat, be it Greek or international food. Plus, whether you’re an avid seafood lover, meat lover, or even a vegetarian, Santorini has you covered. When it comes to hotels, the thing that strikes me as a hotel guest is that you feel like whatever hotel room you stay in, you’re isolated with an unreal view. Unlike the time you spend outside of your hotel room, it’s just you and the view. No obstructions. You won’t tend to see many other people, and the island’s overcrowding doesn’t feel that way when you’re in your hotel, as fewer people are usually accommodated. Let’s not forget that you also have the luxury of the pool during your stay, it is never busy.

3. Excursions

While many people love to stay in their hotel and soak in the pool all day, for most people, myself included, it can get boring after a few days. If you want to explore and go on excursions, there are plenty of things to do on the small island. As mentioned above, if you like hiking, the hikes to Skaros Rock (in Imerovigli) or the long hike from Imerovigli to Oia are well worth it. Keep in mind that the hike is about 2.5 hours long, and it’s best to avoid doing this during peak sunlight hours or you’ll simply get exhausted, speaking from experience. Other day trips include a boat trip to the nearby volcano and a chance to swim in hot springs. There are also many wineries on the island, so the wine tasting is a nice break from all the wine… I’m talking about the cocktails you’ll be drinking while eating on the island. There are many places to see throughout the island, such as the Ammoudi bay and castle in Oia, the monastery of the prophet Elijah, and the Greek ruins of Akrotiri in the south of the island. There is a lot to do, and everything is very close.

4. Weather

Blue skies and sunshine are almost part of the furniture in Santorini. It is at night an island that has a warm climate throughout the year, and can be quite cold during the winter months of December and January. However, the rest of the year, the weather is perfect for tourists. Clouds are almost non-existent during the summer months and rain is also unheard of. It’s usually never too hot (33+ as an example) when you’re there, as it’s the perfect temperature for swimming in your pool during the day and going for a walk at night.

5. Transportation

While there are plenty of car rental places out there, not everyone has the perfect vacation when they have to worry about driving on the wrong side of the road on short winding roads with other impatient Greek drivers, so luckily the buses are fantastic on the road. island. The main bus station is in Fira and it can literally take you everywhere on the island. Buses between the four hot sports, the airport and the seaport arrive regularly and are easy to drive. Also, a nice touch, which is not just Santorini, is that there are two employees on the bus, one to take you and the other to take your money. There are no problems getting on or off the bus, and it is relatively easy. Also, because the island is so small, you won’t expect to be on a bus longer than 45 minutes to wherever you want to travel. Nice and easy to travel smoothly on the island without having to worry about renting a car. That said, transport is not essential to all places, as it is ideal to walk between towns and villages depending on where you are staying.

Okay, you’re convinced. Do you want to book that trip to Santorini? Then take a look at Santorini hotels here.

But, before you do that, please consider reading on and seeing what I really didn’t like about Santorini and may or may not agree with some of the points, but I’m sure some of you will relate and be completely taken aback. .

The 5 worst things about Santorini

1. Overcrowding

There is an ugly side to being too pretty, and the island is a victim of that. As I mentioned in the pros, the beauty of Santorini has a reputation that can only be rivaled by a few other places on this planet, but this attracts tourists from all over the world and given the size of the island, it fills up quickly! Year after year, it seems to be getting worse, and there are too many people there for the size of the island. The airport (I’ll come back to that later), the sights, the sunset in Oia, the tours, the buses, the bars, the castle. Just everything. Too many people, and its overcrowding can be claustrophobic. Everyone would love a secluded romantic getaway, and aside from time in your hotel room, you won’t get that experience here. Possibly the best views with Ammoudi bay, castle and sunset, Oia is always crowded and the cute little streets with shops are just a nightmare to walk, and take a photo anywhere in Oia is you will see interrupted. by various people.

2. Expensive

Well, you can’t expect to go to one of the world’s hot spots and not expect to pay a few bucks, but Santorini is way too expensive. You will get a better investment in other islands of Greece, such as Paros, Naxos or even Mykonos. That’s why I think it’s an ideal place for celebrities like soccer players and models to go on a trip, but for us normal people, it’s a lot of money! Staying in hotels with any kind of decent view will cost you an arm and a leg, and even hotels that don’t have a view will put a big dent in your bank balance. The point of staying on the island is to stay in one of the four city/town hot spots, but good luck finding any type of hotel for under £100 a night for a room, even for the most basic hotel or villa without the sight Same for restaurants, and don’t get me started on the alcoholic beverages. Cocktails for £12-£20 a pop!? No, not for me. I get it, it’s a beautiful view of the island, but there’s a line and you just crossed it. If you want to find cheap food and cheap bars, they basically don’t exist, except for some fast food places in Fira square.

3. Lake of good beaches

I’m not saying that I visited Santorini expecting there to be beaches that are represented on many of the other islands in Greece, like the beaches in Mexico or Thailand. However, the island does not have good beaches and that is a fact. For many people, the beaches are a great attraction for people who visit the destination and, in particular, an island. Santorini has the ‘Red Beach’, which is not pleasant but also dangerous for visitors. Visually it looks good once you’re there, which is a challenge in itself, but if you don’t want to slip on rocks, you can swim in water that is far from clear and uncomfortable at all times. Having said that, it won’t stop people from coming, and it’s still packed! Other than this beach, there is literally nothing else that Santorini has to offer in terms of beaches, so if that’s your thing, you might want to reconsider.

4. Airport

The worst airport in the world. Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration, but in the research for this article, I’m not surprised by the number of articles mentioning ‘worst airports in the world’ and individual reviews talking about their time at Santorini airport. Granted, you may only be there for a few hours on your way out, or if you’re lucky you won’t see it at all. However, your time there will be the most awkward couple of hours of your life. You’re packed like sardines once you get through security, after waiting an hour to check your bags. There is no space to sit, move, walk and even breathe. It was a horrible experience and it was not unique. Luckily, if you get past all the people, there’s an upstairs that has some seats and you might be lucky enough to find one while you’re waiting for your flight.

5. Donkeys in the Old Port

Just a personal annoyance of mine, but I hate when animals are exploited for their entire lives by lazy rich tourists. There are 300 steps to go up and down to visit places like the old port and Ammoudi Bay, and although the normal person will have to walk and sweat, some people feel that it is necessary to sit on the back of a donkey and pay 5 euros for that privilege. Horses are visually unhappy, and you can imagine, going up and down 300 steps all day, with no time to relax, no shade to save you. Day after day after day. People may question this inclusion in the worst things about Santorini, but for me it has to be mentioned. This type of attraction is outdated and I hope people don’t pay for this!

Do you still want to book Santorini? Well, I don’t blame you. Everyone has their preferences, and I can’t deny that someone wants to visit these beautiful islands, but in every pretty face there is an ugly side.
