The three best Florida players to put on your fantasy football team

Yes folks, it’s about time – it’s time to start thinking about which players to select for your 2007 Fantasy Football teams. Some of us may still be enjoying our amazing picks from last year (hello Frank Gore) or furious about those who had less-than-stellar seasons (thank you very much, Randy Moss), but it’s time to put in the good and the good. the bad from last year is behind you and remember this year, it’s a whole new ball game… sixteen of them.

Now, there are about a million rosters telling everyone who to draft (LaDainian Tomlinson) and who not to draft (anyone from the Oakland Raiders) and each roster includes a plethora of players. In the interest of time and possible cramping in my typing fingers, I’m simply listing the top three players to pick from any of the Florida organizations (Florida, after all, has about fifty football teams…or maybe just three).

Chris Chambers, WR, Miami Dolphins: Chris Chambers was a player who allowed many of us, myself included, to reach the playoffs during the 2005 season, a season in which his statistics exploded. Unfortunately, 2006 did not produce the same results. But we can’t blame Chambers for this, at least not all of it. Last season saw Miami with instability at quarterback, an instability waiting to be resolved with Trent Green, and a coaching style that didn’t seem to include much of the old Chris. Chris Chambers, last season, just seemed to disappear.

It may be down, but it’s not out…

As Miami starts a new quarterback, and Cam Cameron starts head coaching, this receiver will recapture the explosiveness that had me tattooing “I Heart Chambers” on my ankle with my 2005 Fantasy Football winnings. It’s also worth noting that Chambers, like the entire Miami Dolphin team, has a tendency to flare up towards the end of the season. For many fantasy players, the end-of-season games are the most important: Depending on which team he’s on, Chris Chambers has the potential to bring grown men to tears…whether it’s tears of joy or just plain tears.

Joey Galloway, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Taking a page from Chris Chambers’ playbook, Joey Galloway did the same thing as his Miami counterpart: He had an amazing 2005 year only to be silenced in 2006. However, Galloway’s silencing was not as silent as Chambers’s: still he had 1057 yards and seven touchdowns. On the downside, Galloway often went several games without catching much to have a game in which he suddenly became best friends with the Fantasy owner. These inconsistent performances often left people unable to know when to sit it down and when to start it.

However, Galloway, like Chambers, was forced to deal with his fair share of quarterback instability and a terrible overall offense from Tampa Bay (even Cadillac Williams performed more like a Pinto). Assuming the Buccaneers are left with a quarterback, whether it’s Jeff Garcia, Chris Simms or an “Oh, I’m not In fact retired” Jake Plummer – Galloway will bounce back for a great season. If Jeff Garcia starts, which (as of now) looks like he will, Galloway could have a truly pro year; Tampa Bay’s running game will be just the meat between Garcia and Galloway’s Veteran Sandwich.

Ronnie Brown, RB, Miami Dolphins: Ronnie Brown didn’t have his best season last year, but he wasn’t bad: Although he sat out three games with a broken hand, he scored five touchdowns and rushed for 1,008 yards. This year, Brown and his stats have nowhere to go but up … way up.

Assuming he stays healthy, 2007 could be a career year for Ronnie. He will not only get a lot of playing time, since the Miami Dolphins don’t have the strongest selection of second running backs, but he will also play with Cam Cameron. As a former offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers, I think… think – Cam Cameron might know a thing or two about turning good running backs into great ones.

So there you have it, the top three Florida players to put on your Fantasy team. I know, I know… getting Fantasy Football advice from a woman might seem ridiculous to some of you guys (ahem, you called the 50’s and you want your ideologies back), but I always play Fantasy Football and I always do well. ; I win, and then I burn my bra.

Hypnotic orgasm technique to intensify your orgasm.

You are about to learn an almost hypnotic orgasm technique that you can use to make your girl orgasm much faster, much more intense, and even trigger the emotions she feels for an orgasm… anytime you want.

It’s an NLP (short for neuro-linguistic programming) technique called anchoring.

Is that how it works.

Whenever we feel very strong emotions about a particular event, our minds search for something specific and unique about that experience and link (or anchor) the two together.

Just like almost all of us have a certain song that when we hear it, we instantly think of a particular person or event from the past. This happens because our emotions were so strong during that event, that our mind found something specific and unique (in this case, the song) and the two became anchored together.

So what you are going to learn now is how to create an anchor and link it to the heightened emotions your girl feels during an orgasm.

It’s really simple.

Just like your woman is having an orgasm, just say or do something very specific and unique.

If you’re having slow romantic sex, you might say, “Baby, I love making you come.”

If you’re having a rougher type of sex, you could say something like “Come on me now.”

Now it is very important that you use different anchors for different types of sex because the emotions she feels while making love will be completely different from the ones she feels while you are just “taking it off”.

You only have to do this a few times during the height of her orgasm and your new anchor will be set in no time.

Now you can go out with some friends, walk up behind her and whisper in her ear, “Baby I love making you cum” and she will instantly start feeling those romantic and sensual emotions for you.

Just be careful because she might start trying to convince you to leave right there and go find a room!

She will also start to associate these heightened emotional states with your voice, so just regular conversation with her can’t be much more fun.

Now you can also use this same hypnotic orgasm technique to amplify the effect of your foreplay.

Once you’ve established your anchor, say it to him during foreplay and not only will you increase his rate of arousal and make him climax much sooner, but the orgasms he gives you will be much more intense and pleasurable.

NBA – Kobe vs Shaq – It’s On

The NBA Playoffs didn’t need any more fuel, but Shaquille O’Neal of the Phoenix Suns, combined with Pau Gasol of the Los Angeles Lakers, are preparing for a battle royale this spring. Let’s say, with the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers… it’s on.

Shaquille O’Neal won a title with Pat Riley and the Miami Heat. Now, as the Miami Heat rebuild, Shaquille O’Neal has returned not just to the West, but to the same division as the Los Angeles Lakers. Shaquille O’Neal is a student of the game, and there’s nothing he loves more than joining the ranks of the division with his old friends Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson.

Shaquille O’Neal has a lot of help with him at the Phoenix Suns, and this spring he’s gearing up for a simply epic NBA playoff-time matchup between these two teams and all of these personalities. Pray that the matchup gods put them in the same group before perhaps San Antonio gets its hands on any of them, but maybe this year the San Antonio Spurs should be the ones hoping to be left out of the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles. lakers. shape.

So Phil Jackson smirks, waiting, probably looking forward to a challenge from his former protégé, Shaquille O’Neal. You know Kobe Bryant is in a rage, wanting to stop what could be Shaq’s fifth NBA ring. Between Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal, the only score that matters is 4, which is the number of Championships Shaquille O’Neal has, and 3, which is Kobe Bryant’s number.

The difference is that Shaq’s fourth was won without Kobe, whereas Kobe has been languishing in mediocrity until now, after Shaq. They may very well get in the way of each other on the way to the finals. Old scores to settle, new allies to help settle them.

Basketball score 100-0? What that means for those of you coaching youth soccer

100-0 I’m not kidding with you

One of the biggest youth sports stories this month comes from all places, girls’ basketball. If you haven’t heard of this one you really need to get out more, the story has gone viral. While I’d much rather watch paint dry or get wood chips under my fingernails than attend a girls’ basketball game, there may be a lesson here for us youth soccer coaches. A small Dallas, Texas high school for ADD and ADHD children with only 20 female students, lost 100-0 last week. That’s right sports fans, Covenant Christian ONE HUNDRED, Dallas Academy ZERO, that’s not a typo.

The halftime score was 59-0 and the score at the end of the three was 88-0. What’s interesting about this story is that the winning team, Covenant Christian, lobbied for almost the entire game. The Dallas Academy rarely passed the ball beyond half court, turning the game into what observers called a “layup drill.” Dallas Academy hadn’t won a game in the past four seasons, not one, so it wasn’t like Covenant were up 98-0 and feared Dallas Academy was going to go on a 100-point streak of their own. In fact, as Covenant neared the century mark, Covenant’s head coach and several of his fans cheered wildly. I have a word for that, WOW. I am impressed by the score and more by the attitude and actions of the head coach and his “fans”.

no apology required

When Covenant administrative officials apologized for their coach’s actions, the Covenant head coach bullied him around the neck and said that he had done nothing wrong. He claimed that his children were playing the game the way it was meant to be played. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of those Stuart Smalley types, you know the “let’s not keep score, let’s play the same number of players with all the players, drink juice boxes and sing Kumbaya together after the game coaches”. Remember my teams have gone 97-13, we’re playing to win, we’re not playing intramurals.

The value of competitive sports

Competitive sports are a great learning environment for most kids, but this coach crossed the line in my opinion. When he’s ahead, there’s nothing wrong with securing the win, working on some skills and tactics your team needs to improve on, and getting backup reps to run the base offense and defense. But when it’s obvious you’ve got the upper hand and the other team isn’t having any luck in a comeback, why keep pushing? You’d think that after being able to run the pass with an 88-0 third-quarter lead, it would be obvious that his sons know how to run the pass against a hapless rookie team. But what about working on the half court game or ANYTHING other than the press?

What did the Covenant kids get for crushing the spirit of the Dallas Academy team? Maybe the girls learned that when you’ve got someone down, kick them in the face some more and then smear concrete on their face for good measure.

So what?

Why not let it go because you can? When you’re up 88-0, it’s obvious to every player, coach and parent who’s the better team, no question. Heck, even the disinterested janitor or the doggy in mommy’s bag will know that one team was far superior to the other team. What harm would have come from not pressing in the fourth quarter or maybe playing a couple of kids out of position? Instead, Dallas Academy has now canceled the rest of its games. Was the Dallas Academy inept? Sure. Poorly trained, probably. Were any of these girls going to play college basketball? No. But the kids at the Academy will now be deprived of the opportunity to grow as human beings and develop the deep relationships that most kids gain from playing competitive team sports. I hope Covenant’s trainer is proud of that. he maybe he can put that on his resume when he applies for the job at Duke or Kentucky.

The coach gets his due

In the end, the Pact Coach was fired a week later for basically disagreeing with the school’s decision to apologize to Dallas Academy. The Academy may have the last laugh, as Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban will host the Academy team in his Suite at a Maverick game. Let’s hope this story teaches those of us who coach youth soccer a valuable lesson about what not to do. While we didn’t have any video of this fiasco, Coach Phantom suggested this video clip as a pretty close representation of what the match probably went like. I’m sure the coaches and fans were just as excited as the ones in this video for his “HUGE” victory.

NASCAR Legend – Dale Jarrett

Dale Jarrett is one of NASCAR’s best-known and best-loved drivers. He is famous for driving the #44 UPS Toyota Camry and was part of Toyota’s inaugural season in NASCAR. He has driven for some of the most prestigious car owners including Cale Yarborough, Wood Brothers, Joe Gibbs, Robert Yates and Michael Waltrip.

A true champion, he has won the Daytona 500 three times. Dale comes from a family that has been heavily involved in racing and is the son of two-time Grand National Champion Ned Jarrett. Dale’s younger brother, Glenn, also drove and was a pit commentator for NASCAR and Jason Jarrett is Dale’s son who has driven in the Busch Series.

In addition to being a talented race car driver, Dale is very good at golf. After graduating from high school in 1975, USC offered him a full golf scholarship, but he had other plans. He turned the volume down and headed for the racetrack. His racing career began in 1977 at Hickory Motor Speedway, a track owned by his father. In his first race, he started last and was able to move up to finish ninth. His talent for driving was beginning to show. He spent a few years honing his driving skills at Hickory before moving to the Busch Series in 1982. His best finish that first year was third and he finished sixth in the points standings. It didn’t take long for Dale to be ready to face the big dogs in the Cup Series and he debuted at Martinsville in 1984. He qualified 24th and finished 14th.

In 1987 he was in contention for Rookie of the Year honors, but came in second to Davey Allison. Dale was hungry for that first cup win and finally got it at Michigan International Speedway in 1991. He finished 17th in his career that season in the points standings. The 1993 Daytona 500 was a memorable one for many NASCAR fans. That race is known as “The Dale and Dale Show” because Jarrett was able to pass Earnhardt for the win with only one lap remaining. Dale Jarrett’s father cheered from the booth where he had announced the race.

Dale is the one who started the “kiss the bricks” tradition in Indianapolis after winning the Brickyard 400 in 1996 when he and his entire crew got down to kiss the bricks. Since then, every winning NASCAR team has been kissing the bricks. In 2003 Indy teams took notice and now uphold the same tradition. In 1998, Dale began suffering from gallbladder problems and ended up having surgery in the offseason. Undaunted, he returned in 1999 and won his first Cup title by 201 points. Earlier this year he retired from driving the Busch series and joined Brett Farve to become part owner. They introduced the #11 Rayovac Ford, one of its drivers being Dale’s son Jason.

In 2000 Dale joined UPS and they began the “Big Brown Truck” campaign which continued until the end of his career. The 2008 Food City 500 at Bristol was Dale’s last race and he passed the torch to David Reutimann, who now drives the #44 Toyota. At a drivers’ meeting before that final race, he spoke to his fellow drivers: “Enjoy this. We all have our time in this, and mine has been fantastic. It’s been an honor and a privilege for me to be able to race.” in this series and say that I competed with and against and sometimes beat the best in the world. Thanks for allowing me to do that. Enjoy it. It’s a great sport, and you guys make it what it is.” After his retirement, Dale joined the ESPN broadcast team as their lead racing analyst.

Kansas City Chiefs 2009 Fantasy Football Preview

The 2009 Kansas City Chiefs will sport an all-new 2008 look and those changes start at the top. Gone were Carl Peterson and Herman Edwards and in their place came former Patriot Scott Pioli and former Cardinal offensive coordinator turned head coach Todd Haley, respectively. Also, the Chiefs have a new starting quarterback in former patriot Matt Cassel and the three rookies will try to bring some excitement back to a franchise that has been the doormat for years. What impact will Cassel have on the rest of the Chiefs in terms of fantasy? Will Kassel he have another successful season or will he be a fiasco? I examine these questions and more as I look at Kansas City’s fantasy potential going into 2009.

Cassel was one of the biggest surprises of the 2008 NFL season filling in for the injured Tom Brady and passing for 3,693 yards with 21 TDs and just 11 INT. The numbers are all the more impressive when you consider that Cassel hadn’t started a game since high school when he found himself in the spotlight. Cassel’s performance down the stretch helped countless fantasy owners win titles by going for consecutive 400-yard games during the fantasy playoffs. Also, Cassel almost killed me and barely got away from me in the championship round when he had 4 TD passes against the Raiders. Fortunately, he had a complete enough team to overcome him, but needless to say, he was a little worried watching his game against my Raiders. Cassel played his heart out for Josh McDipshit last year, but now he comes to a team looking for an offensive identity. In terms of weapons, Cassel has some, but not in excess. WR Dwayne Bowe is entering his third year and should be a star. Bowe will unequivocally be Cassel’s number one target, especially after TE Tony Gonzalez’s departure for Atlanta. Gonzalez’s departure is a huge loss for the Chiefs and especially for Cassel, as the young quarterback certainly would have often been seen as a veteran. Cassel has Haley setting him up, but overall, I wouldn’t bet his fantasy teams’ chances on him this year. He’s a decent option for a No. 2 QB, but too many questions surround him to be considered a solid week-to-week No. 1 fantasy QB.

Historically, the Chiefs’ running game has been the team’s strength, as Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson have had monster seasons for the club. Holmes is long gone, Johnson seems to be back in 2009 but he will be 30 years old and he seems to be past his prime. I know this because I actually used my second pick on LJ thinking it was still a good value at the time. Things never worked out for him in 2009 due to several variables, including playing a terrible offense and having numerous off-field problems that culminated in suspension. Johnson finished the year rushing for 874 yards and 5 TDs. Johnson sometimes showed flashes of his old self, namely the week 4 game against Denver when he galloped for 198 yards and 2 scores, but it was mostly a disappointment to the former Penn St. product and the owners who drafted him. . Johnson stated all year and most of the offseason that he wanted out of KC, but he seemed to change his mind once Piloi and Haley came on board. Honestly, I really don’t know what to make of LJ heading into 2009. I don’t think he’s done yet, as he sat behind the aforementioned Holmes for several years before finally getting a chance at him. Plus, the Chiefs don’t really have many backups behind LJ with Jamal Charles and Kolby Smith, and neither are going to strike fear into defenses. Right now, I see LJ as a good No. 3 RB or Flex option with the potential to move up to a No. 2 option. I think LJ has some edge this year, especially if you can get him in the 5-6 round range. , which is where it’s been going predominantly in the mock drafts I’ve been participating in. I think the problems off the field and the resulting poor season humbled Johnson and hopefully he will bounce back a bit. Some people compare him to LT, but there’s no comparison, as LT has had a lot more carries in his career than Johnson, and because of that, he might be closer to the bottom. Just stay safe with LJ. Don’t reach too high, and if you do, be sure to handcuff him to Charles with a late pick for insurance. Smith has no draft value at press time.

WR Bowe appears poised for stardom in his junior year and could benefit greatly from Cassel’s presence at QB. Bowe caught 86 passes for 1,022 yards and 7 TDs, a slight improvement over his rookie season. There are some receivers who seem to have it, and Bowe seems to be one of those receivers. The LSU third-year pro is a great route runner, has great hands and appears to be a good-natured guy and very capable of coaching. Plus, he’s 6’2″ 221, which gives him the ability to win jumpers with defensemen. I expect Bowe to have another solid season, as most NFL receivers seem to break out in their junior year. Claim him number one 2. option, but don’t be surprised if he performs better than that with Cassel and Haley now in Kansas City. There’s not much else in the way of KC receivers in regards to fantasy potential. As mentioned, legendary Chief Gonzalez now it’s an Atlanta Falcon leaving KC with virtually no one at the TE position and Mark Bradley and Bobby Engram represent nothing more than emergency gap-stopping options for their fantasy squad. In short, look to Bowe to break statistically under Haley but avoid all other Chief receivers.

The Chiefs have been terrible in recent years on defense, but I think that should start to change this year, especially if Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson play the way they are capable of. Picking Jackson over Aaron Curry is a stretch if you ask me and the Chiefs made that pick based solely on the defensive scheme they play. Look for the Chiefs to improve defensively this year, but there are much better options available in terms of consistent DST production. Rookie Ryan Succop and Connor Barth will battle for the kicking job during training camp. That concludes my examination of the Chiefs’ 2009 fantasy prospects. Next up: The San Diego Chargers.

How to Select 3 Draws or 5 Aways in Soccer Betting: The Final Steps

British Treble Chance is the game of choosing winning lines from 8 draws from a list of 49 matches on a coupon. Some bettors prefer to bet, for example, on 3 draws or 5 games away. This article briefly describes how you can identify the most likely candidate to tie or walk away from a ranked match list.

ranked list

In a previous article I wrote about how to prepare a list of match evaluations. This is a list of the matches on the coupon, with a numerical evaluation against each one. Numerical evaluation is just a number that reflects the probability of the match being a home win, draw, or away win.

We then sort this list in order of ascending probability (match score is the term I use). Those with the lowest match rating I mark as away, and those at the other end I mark as home. Matches with mid-range ratings are marked as probable draws.

Now, with 49 games on a coupon, knowing where to ‘draw the line’ between away/draw/home odds is a key decision.

Analysis of recent coupon results shows that approximately 45% of games were home wins during the season, with 26% away from home and 27% tied with or without a score.

Choosing our candidates

Now, at first glance, this would suggest that we simply divide our ranked match evaluations according to these numbers. But we know that not everything goes smoothly, we get some amazing results and even some matches that look like home wins can end with away results. Also, of course, no forecasting system is perfect, even if all the results were to match team form.

Therefore, the boundaries between home/draw/away are not clear and we need to cast our net more widely and cover more matches (on triple chance). However, for 3 draws or 5 away forecasts, the problem is more difficult: we have to pay much more attention to individual matches, team changes, injuries and other factors.

The 3 draws we need will be somewhere in the list of 20 potential draws we have selected. So how do we find them? We do not! We simply set our hedge so that we are ‘permanently’ any 3 out of 20. That’s a lot of lines, 1140 separate bets in fact. Even at 20p the line is over £200 in total, too much for most punters. And of course, the bookie’s odds may not cover this. If we are looking for, say, a 3 to 1 return (£600), then we would need fixed odds of 3000/1.

cut list

One way we can make this work is to cut the number of lines, i.e. reduce the coverage. So we would need to shorten the list to say 12 selections. Any 3 out of 12 would be 220 lines, around £40 to 20p per line, and we would need fixed odds of 600/1 for a target return of 3 to 1 (£120).

Shortening the list would mean removing the selections; this is done by analyzing the matches and teams in detail, or by simply removing the matches with the highest or lowest rating from the qualifying list, some from the home win finish and some from the away win. final, and in proportion to the percentages of usual results (45% households, 26% outside). This is approximately 6 home and 2 away eliminated to reduce coverage from 20 matches to 12 matches.

It can be difficult to find an online bookmaker that offers these types of bets, and you may need to place such a bet in person at the bookmaker’s premises.

College Football Week 12: Ohio State and Oregon score big wins with big implications

In a great example of too little too late, there were 4 AP Top 25 upsets in Week 12 of college football and none of them made any real impact. On the other hand, two favorites won big road games with big implications as Ohio State buried Michigan 21-10, and Oregon beat a very upset Arizona team, 44-41.

Last week, the ninth-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (10-2) beat Iowa to earn their first trip to the Rose Bowl in 13 years. By beating Michigan (5-7 and bowl ineligible), Ohio State won the Big Ten title with a 7-1 mark, losing only at Purdue. The Buckeyes led Michigan 21-10 after three quarters with both teams playing a scoreless fourth quarter.

The 11th-ranked Oregon Ducks (9-2) were in trouble midway through the fourth quarter when Arizona took a 31-24 lead on a 71-yard screen pass from Nick Foles to Juron Criner, and then the Wildcats had possession and could have won the game by running out on time.

But a long pass to the end zone was intercepted by Oregon’s Talmadge Jackson III (dude, that’s a name), and that opened the door for Duck quarterback Jeremiah Masoli to tie it at 31 apiece with a 8-yard pass to Ed Dickson. with only 6 seconds remaining.

In the first overtime, Masoli hit Jeff Maehl for a 4-yard score, and Foles hit Juron Criner with a 3-yard jumper to send the game into a second overtime. Duck’s defense held and Arizona had to settle for a 41-yard field goal by Alex Zendejas. Then Oregon showed why they’re the better team: Masoli found Dickson for a 22-yard completion and then three plays later, Masoli bullied him from one yard out and Oregon won, 44-41.

The Ducks’ Masoli accounted for 6 touchdowns in the game: 3 passes and 3 runs. He was 26 of 47 for 284 yards and had another 61 yards on 16 carries.

By winning, the Ducks set themselves up to earn a Pac-10 title and a Rose Bowl berth against Ohio State if, and it’s a big if, they beat the Oregon State Beavers (8-3) in a winner. all-out Civil War showdown next Saturday in Eugene.

One of the dirtiest teams in college football (they like to legally hurt opposing players with little things like helmet-to-helmet banging), the Beavers will invade Oregon’s Autzen Stadium, home to some of the most raucous, sloppy, and with the nose of the country. pick fans who like to throw unopened soda cans at opposing players. The Ducks are also known for throwing punches at opposing players.

They call the annual rivalry between the states of Oregon and Oregon the Civil War for a reason. Both teams like to punish each other, so expect it to be a very physical game, especially with a Pac-10 title and a trip to the Rose Bowl on the line.

The four upsets this week that added little to the season included Mississippi (8-3) at home 25-23 over 10th-ranked LSU (8-3), Northwestern (8-4) at home 33-31 over Wisconsin 17th-ranked (8-3), Syracuse (4-7) at home 31-13 over 25th-ranked Rutgers (7-3) and California (8-3) on the road 34-28 over 25th-ranked Stanford 14 (7-3). -4).

Stanford didn’t lose because their striker, Toby Gerhart, didn’t play. Gerhart did his part and more, racking up 136 yards on 20 carries (6.8 yards per carry), scoring 4 touchdowns and charging defenders on a 29-yard reception that put Stanford at the California 13-yard line with less than 2 minutes left. left. Unfortunately for the Cardinal, Andrew Luck threw an interception to kill the drive that could have put Stanford ahead and win the game.

In truth, Stanford’s defense simply couldn’t hold off the Bears’ Shane Vereen, who rushed for 193 yards on 42 carries (4.6 yards per carry) and scored 3 touchdowns. It’s hard to win a game when you give up 34 points.

Eleven top-25 teams won home games this week, and the top three undefeated teams (Florida, Alabama and Texas) won with authority to keep their image and reputation in order.

The No. 1-ranked Florida Gators (11-0) gave their in-state rivals, the Florida International Golden Panthers, a lesson they won’t soon forget, 62-3. No. 2-ranked Alabama (11-0) beats 1-AA Chattanooga 45-0. Texas (11-0), ranked No. 3, beat Kansas 51-20.

Other home wins included 12th-ranked Oklahoma State (9-2) over Colorado 31-28, 15th-ranked Iowa (10-2) shutout 12th-ranked Minnesota 12-0, 16th-ranked Virginia Tech (8-3) over North Carolina State 38-10, Clemson (8-3) over 18th-ranked Virginia 34-21, Brigham Young (9-2) over 19th-ranked Air Force 38-21, Miami of Florida (8-2 -3) over 21st-ranked Duke 34 -16, Utah (9-2) over 23rd-ranked San Diego State 38-7, and Houston (9-2) over 24th-ranked Memphis 55-14.

Four other teams in the top 25 have posted road wins this week. 14th-ranked Texas Christian (11-0) remained undefeated in defeating Wyoming 45-10, sixth-ranked Boise State (11-0) maintained its perfect slate with a 52-21 blowout of Utah State, Penn 13th-ranked State (10-2) made it look easy against Michigan State 42-14, and 20th-ranked Oregon State (8-3) defeated Washington State 42-10.

Three of the top 25 teams were fifth-ranked Cincinnati, seventh-ranked Georgia Tech and eighth-ranked Pittsburgh.

Six teams won and became bowl eligible. They included Bowling Green (6-5) over Akron 36-20, Florida State (6-5) over Maryland 29-26, Texas A&M (6-5) over Baylor 38-3, UCLA (6-5) over Arizona State 23 -13, Tennessee (6-5) over Vanderbilt 31-16 and Louisiana Lafayette (6-5) over in-state rival Louisiana Monroe 21-17.

Four other games were noteworthy. Temple (9-2) won its ninth straight game 47-13 over Kent State, Central Michigan (9-2) won its ninth game 35-3 over Ball State, the ill-fated Notre Dame (6-5) was defeated by Connecticut 33 -30 in a second overtime period, and New Mexico (1-10) finally won a game this year by beating Colorado State 29-27.

First Look at Nintendo Switch – Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

It’s been a while since I’ve played a multiplayer co-op game. That was in the year 2000, playing a Fighting Force game on PlayStation One.

Well, unfortunately this article is not about PlayStation One games. Instead, we are going to take a look at the upcoming game on Nintendo Switch; Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.

My first perspective on this game is that it is equipped with cartoonish animation of Marvel characters, be it a superhero or a super villain, in their battle environments.

Four points in my first perspective

multiplayer cooperative mode

The game is designed with up to four players cooperating on a single objective. As in other cooperative fighting games, your work rate and ability to work as a team will be tested, using skills that add value to the overall objective. For example, a frenetic character type like Wolverine is better suited to take on a strong supervillain like Juggernaut.

The best part of the cooperative multiplayer mode is that it adds fun during those intense battles with those formidable bosses. Engaging with friends or online players in your upcoming battle strategies, weapon picks, and superhero picks adds a more competitive atmosphere during pre-game battles.

marvel characters

The game offers 26 characters excluding unlockables. The 26 characters have different fighting styles and abilities to explore. My personal favourites, Spider-Man and Wolverine, are also available to select in-game.

The most notorious super villains are also available to meet with Thanos, Magneto, Wilson Fisk as Kingpin, Electro, Dr Octopus and many more.

Level up

The beauty of this game is that you will have the opportunity to develop your superhero. Quests and side quests allow you to earn coins to upgrade your hero’s skill and maybe weapons too.

Argument

The story of the game is based on the environment of the X-Men, especially in Xavier’s academy. Supervillains, especially Thanos and Magneto, will be part of the story, which adds a bit of cinematic atmosphere during the game.

Verdict

As a Marvel fan I would definitely buy this game as I get to explore Marvel characters. So that can add better replay value to the game.

However, the game can be repetitive when it comes to carrying out battles against enemies. It really depends on how the Marvel Alliance series develops the AI (artificial intelligence) in each battle that strikes a balance between the fun factor and the challenge factor.
