Wrinkles on the upper lip: how to deal with these unwanted ugly lines?

Most people aren’t as concerned about wrinkles on the upper lip as they are on the forehead, neck, or near the eyes. Although wrinkles above the lip are less obvious, they suggest aging of the skin.

How do wrinkles appear above the lip? Just like on the face, these wrinkles appear as we age. As we age, our skin thins and loses moisture and elasticity. But there are also external factors that speed up the process, such as unprotected skin care, especially when we’re outdoors, unhealthy food choices, lack of sleep, and smoking. For wrinkles above the lip, smoking plays an important role. But why?

It is very easy to understand. Think about what happens when a person smokes. His lips pursed and the muscles around his lips contracted. Gradually, the muscles of the lips weaken and, along with advancing age, the lines appear.

But smoking causes more harm than upper lip wrinkling. It also accelerates the formation of wrinkles in other parts of the face. This is because the nicotine and chemicals in cigarettes deprive the skin of moisture and nutrients, leaving it vulnerable to wear and tear with minimal skin repair by the body.

Here are some tips to treat upper lip wrinkles:

Give up smoking: The most practical way is to stop the activity that causes more harm than good. If you like the feeling of something dangling from your lip, choose something healthy like a carrot stick.

Drink straight from the cup: Avoid drinking through a straw as the lips pucker up just like when smoking. In addition, it is also more respectful with the environment since you eliminate the use of straw.

Apply lip balm with SPF: 30 minutes before leaving the house, protect your lips with lip balm. Choose a lip balm with SPF 30 or higher. Moisturizes and protects the lips to delay the formation of wrinkles on the upper and lower lip as well.

Make upper lip curl: A common exercise to prevent upper lip wrinkles is an exercise called the “Fish Pout.” Curl your upper lip and hold it in position with your index finger. Move your finger to the left and then to the right corner of the mouth. Do it 10 times a day to strengthen the upper lip muscles.

Eat foods rich in antioxidants: They prevent cell damage and wrinkle formation. Some of the foods to consider are green tea, lemon, spinach, broccoli, and cauliflower.

Lighten lines with lip fixer: By filling in lines with lip balms, it makes wrinkles less noticeable by minimizing makeup and lipstick seepage. This will make the wrinkles above the lip less noticeable.

Proper lip care regimen: Lip care for wrinkle prevention is easier than you think, although it is often neglected. First, keep your lips clean. Remove food residue after meals and apply moisturizer to keep it hydrated. Drink plenty of water and spend a few minutes massaging it daily.

Also apply tretinoin cream or serum containing glycolic acid to the upper lip. Tretinoin with glycolic acid speeds up skin cell turnover to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. However, it is only available through a dermatologist.

That is all. 7 prevention tips for wrinkles on the upper lip and also on the lower lip.

How to buy, use and store perfumes

How to use perfume? -Frequent questions.

Working with perfume as the webmaster of Fragrance Place, I received many emails and phone calls asking questions about buying, wearing, and storing perfume. So, I decided to write this article in the form of a FAQ.

Q. How to buy and try new perfumes?

A. This is a very good question. There are so many new perfumes that hit the market every year. I have seen many women going to one of these department stores and trying all kinds of scents one by one. This of course is wrong! First, stick with your brand that you have trusted for many years and know works well with your skin chemistry. Try a new perfume, apply a small amount to your skin, and wear it for about half an hour. This will give time for the top notes (mainly included in perfumes to make a first impression) to evaporate and the middle notes and eventually the base notes to react with the chemistry of the skin and reveal the real scent of the perfume. Don’t repeat this with multiple perfumes at once, unless you’re refreshing your scent palette with a puff from a coffee jar.

Q. Are all perfumes safe to wear?

A. No, it depends on your individuality. Most perfumes are safe to use. However, there may be some ingredients in the specific perfume that you are allergic to. To find out, use the same method described above using the perfume sample for about an hour and observe your skin’s reaction. If there is no rash or itching, then you can safely use this fragrance. Beware of excessive use of perfumes in public places. Some people may be allergic to specific odors or simply cannot bear to smell some odors for a long time. Some churches, for example, have special fragrance-free sections for people with MCS of multiple chemical sensitivities.

Q. Where to apply perfumes on my body?

A. Chances are everyone has an opinion on how to use perfume and where to apply it. A small amount of perfume should first be applied to the pulse points on your body, including the inside of your wrists, the inside of your elbows, behind your knees, and your ears. The pulse helps send the scents. Spraying some perfume into the air and walking directly towards it helps to spread the perfume throughout the body. Always apply perfume starting at the bottom of the body and working your way up to the top. Never rub your wrists after applying perfume. It will weaken and crush the smell. Consider using the same fragrance in multiple products, including body wash, body lotion, after bath spray, and finally apply perfume, perhaps using a stronger EDP Spray last. Absolutely do not apply perfume to clothing or jewelry. It will definitely stain your clothes and may damage jewelry.

Q. Why does my friend’s perfume smell so good and I can’t wear it?

A. Not all perfumes are right for you and your skin chemistry. There are four main factors that describe skin: perspiration (the more a person perspires, the less fragrance lingers), skin PH (affects odor molecules), skin profile (rough skin retains fragrance longer) and oil content of the skin (higher oil content of your skin retains perfume longer). Perfume can smell one way on the bottle, or on a friend, and totally different on you. There is all the science out there about skin chemistry and it is hard to explain this in this short article. You just have to find the perfume that suits you best. Try perfumes as described in the first question-answer of this article.

Q. Should I stick to one perfume or change it frequently?

A. This is also a very good question. There are perfumes for every occasion: day, night, office or even for a romantic date. The best place to get information on the recommended use of perfume is the Internet and some of the perfume retail websites, such as Fragrance Place. You can navigate between the perfumes and find more information about the notes of the perfumes and when to use them.
We have to remember that perfumes are very sensitive to temperature. The cold temperature will reduce the intensity of the perfume. Wear a stronger perfume like Eau De Parfum in winter and lighter like Eau De Toilette in summer. In the summer, you can apply perfume more often during the day.

Speaking of the romantic aspect of perfumes, there are many perfumes on the market today that contain pheromones, ingredients that attract the opposite sex. Some of the perfume’s notes, such as jasmine, patchouli, sandalwood, rose, ylang-ylang, and musk, are well known for their aphrodisiac properties. But this is a topic for a separate article.

Q. Where is the best place to store my perfumes?

A. Perfumes are sensitive to light and temperature. A dark, dry, and low-temperature place is best for storing your perfumes. Some women keep their Eau De Parfum bottles in the fridge during hot summer days, but I think the cabinet under the sink will be good enough to store perfumes for a long time. Most perfumes have a shelf life of 3-5 years from the date of manufacture. However, if stored correctly, it can last much longer. Spray type perfumes last longer than splash type. Once the bottle is open and air gets into the bottle, the perfume can only last for about a year.

How to avoid negative thoughts after learning about your spouse’s affair?

It’s very easy to get discouraged after your marriage has been crippled by an affair. This can be true regardless of whether you are the faithful spouse or the cheating spouse. No matter which side you are on, you can feel like your life has changed drastically. It may feel like it will never get better. And always looking on the negative side of life can get depressing. But it can also be a challenge to see any other side.

For example, from a cheating spouse, you may hear something like, “I’m very depressed, but I know I deserve what happens. I cheated on my wife, just once, and I couldn’t be more sorry. I have repeatedly begged for your mercy, but you are furious with me. We’ve been trying to get counselling, but she’s still very angry. I can’t blame her either. I’d be mad at her if she cheated on me. myself. But I can’t do better and our home life is suffering. Our kids know something’s wrong .Last night, I was going through my phone randomly and I was looking at pictures from six months ago.My family was happy.That was before anyone knew how much I was going to screw things up.I don’t think we’ll ever be this happy again. The counselor tells me to find little ways to lighten the load in my home but it feels pointless.Now there is a black cloud over everything.I want to be more positive because I hate feeling this way but I’m not sure how I could when. all of this is my fault.”

You might hear a similar theme from the faithful spouse, who says something like, “My spouse says he’s sorry he was unfaithful and goes to therapy every week. But it’s like he feels like someone should be able to wave a magic wand and get back together.” to unite our marriage and our home. I wish it worked that way, but it doesn’t. My husband always complains that he hates that the children have to live this way, because now there is anger in our home. they are not the same. I I hate him too. I wish I could smile and laugh again. But I’m so angry. I can’t help it. I trusted my husband and he betrayed me in the worst possible way.” She lied through her teeth. And now that he’s been caught, he wants to pretend everything’s okay. Our counselor and our pastor suggest that we work hard to have a more positive outlook in the future. No one thinks I would. I’d actually love to do this, but I wouldn’t. Does everyone think I like being angry and hurt all the time? But I don’t know how to make the feelings stop. that you will be more positive after an adventure?

I agree that this is very challenging. I’m going to share a few things that helped me a bit. And to be clear, initially I was trying to be positive for myself and my children. I didn’t feel like my husband deserved my positivity at the time, even though he got it back for him. He helped me write in a gratitude journal with five things to be thankful for each night. I started with five things, but found that if he really tried and focused, I usually came up with a lot more. I still remember common themes that he had almost every night. They were things like:

I am alive;

my children are alive;

my children and I are healthy;

I am healthy and intelligent and can start over if necessary;

my spouse and I love our children and will do whatever is necessary for their well-being;

my dogs love me;

my extended family supports me;

both my spouse and I are still around, so we might eventually have a chance, even if we’re struggling right now;

we have a roof over our heads;

we have enough food to eat;

I have loving friends who will hold me up.

I could go on and on. But at the end of the day, tracking things to be grateful for helped me see that adventure was a small part of my life. Yeah, it made everything else feel polluted, so I had to train myself to protect other areas of my life, which I didn’t want polluted. I told my friends that talking about adventures was off-limits. And I finally agreed with my husband that we would try to talk about it in counseling and a couple of times a week, but other than that, he was going to try really hard not to think about it. Because I felt that if I didn’t make this conscious decision, I would spend every moment of my life thinking about the adventure and I didn’t need or want that. It just made me miserable spending so much time on it.

The truth is, whether you reflect on the adventure or not, things are going to change over time. Your perspective will change over time. Your marriage will survive or not, but reflecting on it and allowing it to taint what is good in your life is not going to change the outcome, but it can make you feel much worse about everything else, even the good. Being positive in the middle of an adventure is very hard work. It requires you to be aware of your thoughts and decisions several times a day and then redirect yourself. But it may be worth the effort because swimming in negativity 24/7 is painful and debilitating. You deserve more. And with effort, it can become a habit to redirect yourself to positive thinking.

What is your abusive husband’s excuse for verbal abuse?

Sadly, I have known women who have accepted their husbands’ verbal abuse as normal, or expected and somewhat tolerated. This is often because these women were used to being verbally abused. They had probably experienced the sting of verbal abuse during childhood; they had their hearts and self-esteem pierced regularly by harsh words from parents or other caregivers.

The wife, often someone you might label as codependent and a people pleaser, accepted her husband’s verbal abuse in large part because he was familiar. But then, as a codependent woman, she also looked to her husband for a sense of identity or meaning in her life. In doing so, she had given up her own personal power. Rather, she gave him the power to use her own behavior as an excuse for his verbal abuse of her.

The verbally abusive husband would tell his wife that if she would change such and such, then things would be fine. In fact, he wouldn’t feel compelled to yell obscenities at her. He wouldn’t feel compelled to call her by her names. He, too, would not feel compelled to denigrate everything she did.

Too many women accept men’s excuses for their verbal abuse. They do not realize that some men will always commit verbal abuse no matter how closely their wives adhere to the wishes and demands of these men.

Yes, some men will always make up things their wives did or didn’t do that are suitable as excuses for their abuse.

Perhaps the woman did not do the same thing this week that he condemned her for doing last week. In other words, with this type of man, the rules seem to be always changing. The thing is, this type of man doesn’t live by the rules that his codependent wife lives by. Since she doesn’t understand this, she will remain confused. Why does he keep verbally abusing her when she tries so hard to please him? Can’t he see that she’s practically killing herself to do it?

These nice codependent wives remain committed to their pleasurable behaviors because they are certainly motivated to try to fulfill their husbands’ wishes. The point is that many of these men use verbal abuse and other forms of abuse to control their wives. They do all of this very intentionally.

The man displaying pathological levels of narcissism will not care if his verbal abuse causes his wife immense emotional pain. The narcissist lacks empathy, after all. He just wants to have things his way. He sees his poor codependent wife as an object to serve him. He is the king, while she must play the role of his most grateful and adoring subject.

Narcissists feel entitled to use verbal abuse, as well as emotional abuse, financial abuse, social abuse, and sexual abuse to control their spouses. Now, most of them skip using physical abuse, as that can get them in trouble with the law. Also, the other forms of abuse give them the results they want, and without raising the eyebrows of others.

When a man suffers from harmful levels of narcissism, he is likely to continually move on and engage in his abusive ways. He won’t apologize. Also, if her wife tries to explain how her behavior hurts him, again, he is likely to blame her. He will soon be facing her and yelling that because of her behavior, he didn’t really give her a choice.

What if he tries to move beyond his codependency and tells him that he won’t take any more of his verbal abuse? Well, again, he could puff out her chest, look at her, and increase the range and force of her abusive words. He could also erupt into a narcissistic rage: How dare she try to make the rules? She doesn’t she understand her place?

Now, there are some men who could come from backgrounds similar to their codependent wives. In other words, they were also verbally abused by the adults in their lives. These spouses have essentially modeled their parents’ poor communication skills. When they realize the emotional pain that their verbal abuse is causing their beloved wives, they may try to change their ways. And indeed, these are the men who can often be helped immensely with anger management classes, couples communication classes, or therapy.

These men will drop their excuses for their verbal abuse. But don’t expect the same from men whose verbal abuse is fueled by narcissism. Verbal abuse is too good a tool for these men to get what they want. And of course they want to control their wives and make them please them, not themselves.

By the way, the narcissist is the one who professes that it is better to be feared than loved. Did she hear her husband say that, but did she think he was joking? Well, think again. Also, you better believe that he will always have an excuse for verbal abuse of him. However, he is not going to be the real one.

He may continue to blame you or your behavior for his verbal abuse, but you will still be in a verbally abusive relationship no matter how good or accommodating you are as a codependent wife.

Might it be time to take off your codependency blinders and then remind yourself that there is never an excuse for abuse anyway? certainly, though, blaming yourself is pointless, except that it will always be on the narcissist’s mind.

Advantages and disadvantages of the cleansing diet of lemonade

People try many different diets and exercise routines to lose weight. Some of these are more effective than others and this effectiveness can be easily determined by observing the dieter’s weight change. The lemonade diet is a weight reduction technique that has stood the test of time, while fad products came and went. In addition, the lemonade diet combines weight loss with detoxification of your body, something that is very rare to find in health and diet products.

Advantage

This regimen does not involve total fasting, which can be very unhealthy for the body. It is a liquid detoxification and cleansing method aimed at eliminating the mental desire for any food. The body will not feel hungry, and any toxins will be quickly removed from the body. This is a very safe, natural and healthy way for a person to lose weight and cleanse the body.

The lemonade weight loss method is also called the Master Cleanse Diet and it has been around for over 70 years, making it a fully tested method that has stood the test of time. Developed by Stanley Burroughs, a Naturopath, Master Cleanse gives the digestive system a much-needed rest and helps flush toxins out of the body. Lack of exercise, negative state of mind, and improper diet cause unhealthy toxins to build up in our systems.

Some of the reported benefits of this detox diet are:

• More energy and less lethargy

• Total cleansing of the blood, kidneys and colon from years and years of waste accumulation

• A strengthened immune system

• Fat burning

• Quick weight loss

• Make you look and feel much younger

• An almost euphoric or spiritual trip

People who use the Master Cleanse technique often lose up to two pounds per day. The amount of weight loss will vary with the amount of maple syrup used in the diet, but detoxification will occur within the body of anyone who takes any amount of the substance. Mr. Burroughs felt that toxicity was the cause of all diseases in the body. Therefore, people with chronic illnesses may find this detoxification technique especially beneficial.

Disadvantages

Approximately 60 ounces of a concoction made with lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water should be ingested every day, for a period of at least 10 days. Solid foods are not allowed. The individual may also drink water during the period that he or she is on Master Cleanse. In addition, a salt water wash should be taken every morning and a laxative tea every afternoon.

As you can imagine, the lemon diet requirements are quite difficult and some people often give up the diet after a couple of days. Learning to get by without solid food for 10 to 14 days can be quite a challenge. In addition, since it is a cleansing diet as we said, there are “detox” symptoms that can occur, such as headaches, nausea and vomiting, cravings, tiredness and irritability.

My recommendation for the lemonade diet

In my opinion, the best option is to get the lemonade diet as a supplement product (in pill form), so you don’t have to go through the strong liquid fast as described above. For example, the Lemonade Diet Weight Loss pill will help you lose up to 17 pounds in just 14 days and comes with a professional diet and exercise program. With this supplement, you will be eating the recommended meal plan along with the lemon dietary supplement to help you detox and lose weight at the same time.

conclusion

It is recommended that anyone interested in exploring the lemonade diet (master cleanse) consult with a physician before beginning. The physician will advise whether this course of action is recommended based on the individual’s health history and medical conditions.

When looking for a safe and natural way to lose weight, look no further than the lemonade diet. This weight-loss technique consists of ingesting a drink made from a few ingredients (lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water), as well as taking an infusion of salt water and a laxative tea. Therefore, it can be easily prepared at home. The individual should soon begin to lose weight and feel healthier as the body detoxifies.

Death and Taxes: Will Your Estate Be Taxed Upon Death?

As the saying goes, “nothing is certain but death and taxes.” In the context of estate planning, this reality drives the estate planner’s desire to minimize death taxes as much as possible. In fact, the world of estate planning is consumed with tax minimization in all its forms. Lawyers and advisors get clients to jump through legal and financial hoops to avoid or delay paying taxes, be it estates, capital gains, gifts, income, etc. It is imperative that clients know if their assets will be encumbered on their death so that they can seek appropriate advice from their estate planning professional. This article provides an overview of estate taxes.

What is taxable?

In general, any property a person owns at the time of death is taxable, including bank accounts, cash, securities, real estate, cars, etc. are included in his gross assets. Contrary to popular belief, the death benefit from life insurance policies owned by a person is taxable unless properly structured. Joint property, including joint bank accounts, may be included 100% in the estate of the first co-owner to die, except to the extent that the other co-owner can show that they contributed to the property. Business, corporate, and LLC interests can also be included in gross assets, as can general powers of appointment.

Deductions from Gross Equity:

To determine the taxable estate, we need to reduce the gross estate by the applicable deductions. The IRS allows the following deductions from gross assets that reduce gross assets:

1. Spousal Deduction – One of the main deductions for married decedents is the spousal deduction. Both jurisdictions allow an unlimited spousal deduction, which means that assets that pass directly to a citizen spouse will not be taxed on the death of the first spouse. Often, there are very good financial, legal, and tax reasons not to leave it all up to the surviving spouse, as will be discussed in the next article on safe haven/credit diversion trusts.

2. Charitable Deduction: If the decedent leaves assets to a qualified charity, it is deductible from the gross estate.

3. Mortgages and Debts associated with real estate.

4. Estate administration expenses, including executor/administrator, accountant and attorney fees.

5. Losses during the administration of the patrimony.

Not one, but two:

Both New York State and the federal government impose separate estate taxes on decedents who die with a certain amount of assets. The government calculates that death should be a taxable event because almost everything else you did in life was. New York State and the federal government tax assets at different levels and at different rates. Uncle Sam, however, gives the taxpayer a deduction for the amount he paid in state taxes.

Federal Estate Taxes:

The federal government currently taxes properties valued at more than $5.12 million at a rate of 35% in 2012. If Congress does not act, the federal property tax is scheduled to be 55% on gross properties over $1 million in 2013 and beyond.

New York State Estate Tax:

New York State taxes property owned by New York residents if it exceeds $1,000,000. Non-residents pay the tax only if their estate includes real property or tangible personal property located in New York and valued at more than $1 million. New York estate tax rates range from 5.6% to 16% for estates over $10 million and are expected to remain the same for the foreseeable future. New York requires estates with a gross estate of more than $1,000,000 to file Form ET-706 along with a federal estate tax return, although the IRS may not require it (because the estate is below the threshold). federal filing).

The tax thresholds mentioned above assume that the decedent made no taxable gifts during his lifetime. A taxable gift is a gift made to an individual in excess of the annual gift tax exclusion amount, currently $13,000. If taxable gifts were made, they reduce the amount of the estate tax exemption to the extent that gift tax was not paid.

It is possible to avoid the sting of the estate tax by (1) fully utilizing each spouse’s estate tax exemption (2) deferring taxes until the death of the second spouse (3) and avoiding taxes entirely by donating appropriately during life and/or after death. Florida Estate Planning: What Is Florida’s Stance On Home Asset Protection Trusts?

Asset protection is an important aspect of Florida estate planning and is a delicate process for Floridians. In some states like Nevada and Alaska, they allow what is known as a Household Asset Protection Trust which protects the trust against creditors. There are approximately 13 other states that allow a household asset protection trust. Florida is not one of them. In fact, public policy in Florida shudders at the idea of creating Home Asset Protection Trust instruments to avoid paying creditors or estate taxes. A Florida estate planning attorney can prepare a wasteful trust for asset protection, but you must ensure that the instrument is not prepared as a self-established trust, otherwise the trust is not protected from creditors.

What makes a household asset protection trust different from a spendthrift trust in Florida? To answer that question, you’ll need to understand what makes the two instruments different. First, think of the trust as something similar to an offshore account. This particular trust can be useful for people in high-risk industries or people trying to avoid taxes on their estate. A household asset protection trust is a self-established trust that is allowed in Nevada, Alaska, and 13 other states. In other words, the Settlor creates the trust for the benefit of the Settlor during her life.

If you are considering creating a household asset protection trust as a Florida resident, think again. For any possibility of this type of trust to be relevant, most, if not all, of the activities must be in the state that allows the instrument, such as Nevada or Alaska. Even though the activity may be in the allowed state, it could still lead to a disaster in the future. See Waldron v. Huber (In re Huber), 2013 WL 2154218 (Bk.WDWa., Slip Copy, May 17, 2013). In this case, a Washington resident with no Alaska connections had an estate planning attorney set up an Alaska Home Asset Protection Trust that failed miserably. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that a Florida resident would benefit from this type of trust created in Nevada or Alaska and should be avoided at all costs unless Florida trust law changes. Does this mean that the Home Asset Protection Trust will not be allowed in the future? Only time will tell.

Will the Florida Spendthrift Trust work similarly to the Nevada and Alaska Home Asset Protection Trust? It depends on how the wasteful trust is prepared by the Florida estate planning attorney. If the Spendthrift Trust is created as a stand-alone trust, then the answer is “no.” This includes attacks by creditors against self-established revocable living trusts and self-established irrevocable living trusts as well. As a result, a so-called self-established trust, which is a trust established for one’s own benefit, does not provide asset protection against creditors under current Florida trust statutes.

In 2006, the Florida legislature enacted the new Florida Trust Code which became effective on July 1, 2007. Whenever a trust agreement includes a “wasteful provision”, Florida courts have consistently held that the interest of a beneficiary in a trust established for his or her benefit is protected by another person. The waste provision generally provides that a beneficiary may not assign or transfer his beneficial interest. The most common intent of a wasteful disposition is to prevent a beneficiary from squandering her estate. As a result, the beneficiary’s creditors cannot force the assignment to pay the beneficiary’s debts because the trustee prohibits the beneficiary from assigning his beneficial interest.

For asset protection against creditors to be effective in a wasteful trust, the instrument must be prepared with an asset protection provision in which the trust is established by a trustee other than the beneficiary. A qualified and experienced Florida estate planning attorney would create a wasteful non-self-establishing trust if the intent of the instrument is to protect assets against creditors.

Finally, for effective Florida estate planning using section 736.0502, Florida Statutes (2013), an attorney must ensure that the waste provision expressly restricts voluntary and involuntary transfers of trust interests from a beneficiary. If the wasteful provision does not specifically express this language, the provision will not meet the legal requirements. Once the beneficiary receives the distribution from the trustee, the money in the beneficiary’s hands is no longer protected from the beneficiary’s creditors.

Volume played an important role for Ashish when she opened the show with a white veil embroidered with metallic pins for a multi-ruched baby doll dress. The extra-wide silhouette not only worked well for garments, but was also visible for sleeves, boleros, and skirts. The collection thrived with garment details with rolled sleeves, random pleats, stencil-sprayed details, and shirring for skirts and boleros that gave the garments a new dimension.

Men’s clothing is Ashish’s forte, and his jackets were mere bargains in cold wool. A black satin collar tuxedo jacket, a double collar single button jacket and a black chino collar Nehru jacket are quite special. The fabrics ranged from voile, viscose, silk taffeta, jacquard, canvas to cold wool.

5 essential beauty tips for natural skin care in the summer to keep your skin and the environment healthy

For most of us, summer fun means spending a lot of time outdoors with activities that expose our skin to sun, salt, bugs, and dirt. With a little help from organic and natural skin care products, you can enjoy the great outdoors without wreaking havoc on your skin and hair.

Here are five suggested beauty tips to keep you glowing in the summer.

  1. A sunscreen should be part of your daily outdoor summer routine. Make a wise choice and select a natural sunscreen that protects against UVA and UVB sun rays. Both types of rays damage the skin by affecting collagen, and both can cause cancer. Avoid sunscreens with a long list of chemicals, especially para-aminobenzoic acid, also known as PABA. These chemicals are easily absorbed through the skin and cause health problems and also find their way into the environment and damage soil and groundwater.
  2. After a day in the sun at the beach or pool, or hiking forest trails, thoroughly cleanse skin and hair with a mild organic foaming cleanser. Look for a cleanser that combines organic and natural ingredients that gently clean while replacing natural oils. Natural ingredients like Clary Sage, Aloe Vera; jojoba, olive or coconut oils; and essential oils will gently cleanse while rejuvenating skin and hair. Coconut oil is especially good for replacing the natural oils in your skin and hair.
  3. Nourish and replenish skin with an organic all-over body moisturizer. Organic and natural ingredients like bergamot and litsea essential oils energize and help tone and rejuvenate the skin. A great option for summer is a moisturizer containing lemon or lime essential oils, as a citrus blend is energizing and also works as an insect repellant. Remember to use it on the cuticles of the nails and on the dry skin of the feet!
  4. Summer is the time for bare feet and sandals. Show off those toes with an eco-friendly, non-toxic nail polish. Look for water-based polishes that don’t use FD&C colors and have removed the toxic chemical trio of ingredients that include dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde, and toluene. Water-based polishes are better for your health and the health of the environment.
  5. Complete the summer glow with soft, luscious lips. Use a natural lip gloss, without chemicals or parabens. Be sure to read lipstick labels, as many still contain lead, which is a proven neurotoxin. Look for an organic or natural lip gloss enriched with vitamin E, cocoa butter, olive oil, and shea butter. This will provide plenty of moisture preventing chapped lips and also provide a long lasting shine.

This summer, enjoy all that nature has to offer, whether it’s surfing the waves, lounging by the pool, or observing nature from a forest trail. Remember the above tips on organic and natural ways to keep your skin, hair, and the environment healthy.

WARNING: The 3 BEST Past Life Myths (and the ONE Truth You Shouldn’t Ignore)

Are past lives real? Does everyone who remembers living before have memories of being rich, famous, or someone super important? Are most people who remember past lives dysfunctional adults? And is hypnosis the BEST way to remember past lives, or are there other techniques that work just as well?

Past lives are quite an interesting topic to write about and research. Why? There are so many myths, misconceptions, and general skeptical nonsense that it is often difficult to convey the overwhelming amount of authentic evidence that they really ARE very powerful and persuasive when looked at by intelligent, spiritually-minded people.

Let’s start with the top 3 myths that many people believe about past lives, and the kinds of stories that skeptics and cynics WANT you to believe too.

Myth #1: – Everyone remembers a lifetime of being famous, a celebrity or someone who was very important.

This is 100% NOT true. Most past life memories are very mundane and are from average lifetimes, lived by average people. In fact, the ONLY thing that seems to be consistent across most reports is the memory of a premature death at a young age. (whether due to accident, violence or even illness)

Myth #2: Most people who have past life memories are dysfunctional adults.

Completely false. The vast majority of cases where genuine past life memories are documented and detailed and then studied are actually reported by young children. In fact, many of these children forget memories by the age of 8, even when the younger years were dominated by repeated memories and stories of living as previous people. (many of which have been meticulously documented by scientists who study and publish these stories)

Myth #3: Hypnosis or regression is the most common way to remember a past life

Again, not true. While EFFECTIVE, and written about in great detail, regression therapy or hypnosis accounts for less than 10% of people who experience past life memories. Why? It is EXPENSIVE for one. And 2…it takes someone pretty committed to want to go see a therapist to explore their past lives.

The most common ways that people remember past lives are typically through spiritual tools and techniques such as a horoscope or birth chart or reading, working with a past life karma clairvoyant, or more spontaneous experiences, such as recurring feelings of déjà. vu, precognitive or recurring dreams, or a combination of the above.

Finally, the ONE fact that is impossible to explain?

Remembering past lives and solving the problems that arise during these memories is a very healing process, very hopeful and very USEFUL for 90% of people. There are no less than 10 books written in the last decade by serious scientists detailing the therapeutic value of remembering past lives and solving present problems through the prism and perspective of the past! (And I can personally attest to how fun and enlightening these experiences can be!)
