Cat Fusion: How To Introduce A New Kitten Or Cat To An Older Cat

The following technique can be used to introduce a new kitten or cat to your other cats. I have been involved in pet rescue for most of my life and this technique worked successfully every time. Over the years, I have had to make some modifications when introducing older males or feral cats, but in most cases this will work exactly as described. Your pet is assumed to be neutered and the new pet is neutered or less than six months old.

If you have a choice, you may want to follow the recommendation of a “wife’s tale” and choose a new young cat who is the opposite sex to your pet. For example, if you have a neutered male, select a kitten or a young female. If you have an older female, select a young male kitten. Many people believe that these combinations are the best options to ensure a compatible combination. There is some biological support for this argument, but I have fused many cats of the same sex and of the same age and it has always been successful.

1. Before bringing a new kitten or cat home, make sure it is free of communicable diseases: feline leukemia, distemper, rabies, worms, and fleas. Most people avoid adopting a cat that has been exposed to Feline Aides, but there is a mixed jury on how Feline Aides spreads. You may want to read up on this topic and form your own opinion before considering merging a cat exposed to IVF with a healthy cat.

2. While the cats are still in separate places, give both of them a large meal. For example, give both cats a meal that is comparable to our Thanksgiving dinner; options include your favorite canned food, sardines, tuna, or chicken. Give them at least half an extra serving. You may also want to give him some relaxing natural herb as a “Rescue Remedy.”

3. Place the new cat or kitten in a cat carrier about half an hour after the cats finish eating their large food. Ask a friend to bring the new cat or kitten home and place the carrier in the middle of the living room floor; Make sure there is a place where the new cat can hide once it comes out of the cage (i.e. a couch, meat, etc.). If you cannot find a friend to bring the carrier, you can do it yourself, but you must ignore the new cat at all times.

4. Let your cats smell and hiss with each other with your cat loose in your house and the new cat safely inside the carrier. Since both cats are full and relaxed, it may take 20 to 30 minutes before the cats are noticed.

5. One hour after bringing the new cat inside, open the door of the carrier, but ignore both cats. Let the new cat out when it feels ready; this can take up to 30 minutes. Cats can keep hissing and yelling at each other, but it’s usually pretty minimal. Most of the time, the new cat will look for a safe place to hide, such as under a sofa or chair. If the new cat runs towards you, ignore it.

6. For the next 3-4 days, you must ignore the new cat. Allow your cats to yell and hiss at each other whatever they need. This allows your current pet and the new pet to establish their own hierarchical order. The only time you would want to interfere would be if cats fight badly. If this happens, pour a large amount of cold water on both cats and start the process again. (I had to fuse two sickly old male cats once. They had both been “Tom” cats for years. After this hour-long fusion technique, they got into a horrible fight. I broke the fight with water, got a big cage for dogs and for two days I rotated which cat was in the cage and which cat got loose. After two days, these cats got along very well).

One final thought, you may want to start the introduction at a time when you can be home for a few days. For example, if you work Monday through Friday, you may want to combine the cats on Friday night so that you can observe them over the weekend.

The definition of green

The word “green” is not the omnidirectional term for anything environmental, although there is a tendency to substitute the word “green” for “environmental.” Environmentalism is a large topic that has several subdivisions. Under this great theme of environmentalism, we will find Green, Sustainable, Pollution and Conservation. Each of these subdivisions is a huge subject on its own.

In the mix of words and concepts, we have lost the fundamental meaning of Green. Environmental, Green, or Sustainable now fade into that ugly green we made in kindergarten when we dragged all the colors into one big blob. We cannot progress when confusion reigns and all science begins with a definition of terms.

The best definition of green refers to the health impact of what we do on living things. So green is mainly a health related problem. This is seen in the fact that cleaning products were the first ecological problems. In fact, indoor air quality is an important factor in green buildings. The sick building syndrome was the result of poor indoor air quality, which is the antithesis of Green.

Sustainability is also badly transformed in many applications, but it basically deals with the management of our resources. This is a complementary theme for Green, so a green and sustainable business means that the company considers the health of the workplace, as well as the material demands of the business.

Workplace health can be affected by cleaning products, building materials, furniture, paint, and carpets. “Outgassing” is a well-documented concern. Installing new carpets, new furniture, new paint, and new wood leave residual fumes as these items continue to dry. Your senses will betray you because we think that everything new is clean and healthy, but that is a big mistake. Varnishes and additives for paint, carpet glue, and wood fall into the category of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are not good for you. If your health is compromised, these fumes can worsen your condition and accelerate disease. If you’re healthy, long-term exposure will wear you out over time.

Think recycled dust that contains bacteria, viruses, dust mite faeces and scales, carbon from carbon copies, and much more. It is a wonder that we are not sick all the time, except that we are generally healthy and can live in harsh environments for a long time.

The people who are supposed to help clean our facilities and protect our health through disinfection processes are janitors, but clean does not mean healthy. Ammonia in window spray is harmful, zinc in floor finish is bad for humans, the many chemicals in cleaners add to a worsened situation.

Mold is a persistent problem for many buildings. Mold spores are never good for workers and can become a crisis problem if left untreated. Latent problems also remain in the HVAC system. It is fair to say that the air in any building is a kind of “Ground Zero” for any office or business. If employees are negatively affected, productivity will drop. An afternoon headache, occasional nausea, and lethargy can be signs of unhealthy indoor air quality. So while your building may be energy efficient, and you may be conserving water and recycling your trash (sustainability issues), the building may be very un-green because it is unhealthy.

The Green Business League believes that a green office begins with an understanding of the healthy office and a serious look at the components that compromise indoor air quality. Consider using a Green certified cleaning service that also uses Green cleaning products, microfiber cloths, and HEPA vacuums. Don’t let mold go untreated. Be aware of all paint, rugs and furniture used in the installation because they introduce a large amount of gases into the air.

Green is a primarily health-related issue that mixes with other sustainability, pollution control, and conservation issues. By dividing the topics correctly, the plan of attack seems much clearer. To attack the problem in a methodical way, companies should consider “Going Green” first and then move on to sustainable issues. The early disdain for the green word stems from the anti-business attitudes of ultra-conservationists who needed a target for their vitriol. Green is not an anti-business concept when properly understood. A green business is a good place for living things in the workplace, in the community, and in the world.

Getting good mobile phone reception at home

For many people, cell phone reception is poor at home. Don’t worry though, most of us still have a landline phone that gives us great reception there. Of course, that’s an additional cost, a separate number, additional phones, the inconvenience of two bills, etc.

Certainly, many people have employed amplifiers to try and improve their cell phone signal, but these have very mixed results at home and certainly rarely result in the ability or desire to eliminate the added expense of a landline phone.

However, there are at least a couple of possible solutions that are still evolving that can eliminate these problems. Both options work by switching cellular calls to the user’s broadband connection once they are home. These are essentially VoIP calls, but they are made through an individual’s cell phone provider, so there is a single bill and a seamless transition when switching from a cellular connection to their IP service. This allows mobile phone calls to be made uninterrupted and the user does not have to do anything to switch calls.

The first option, one used by the T-Mobile HotSpot @Home service, requires the use of a hybrid phone that can work from both a cellular network and Wi-Fi. Calls are switched to Wi-Fi in the home and also at any HotSpot locations found in various public and retail facilities. Users must have a cell phone / Wi-Fi and a wireless router at home. The cost of the T-Mobile HotSpot @ Home is $ 19.99 / month when added to eligible individual plans and $ 29.99 / month when added to family plans. It gives users excellent reception and the ability to save on calls with unlimited domestic calls over their Wi-Fi network day or night.

Another emerging option is the use of a “Femtocell”; a type of base station that connects to users’ broadband connection allowing calls to be made from there. Sprint currently offers these devices to customers in only a handful of test markets, but it may be poised to expand the program in the near future. This option gives users a larger selection of cell phones to choose from, but requires the purchase of Femtocell. The Sprint program currently offers the devices for $ 50 and users then pay $ 15 / month for unlimited calls.

Obviously, the additional monthly fee for any of these programs is significant over time, but it is certainly less than what most users are paying for their current landline. Of course, for all of this to hit the general market, other cell phone providers will need to start offering similar services. Verizon has in fact announced that it plans to introduce femtocells for customer use before the end of 2008 and AT&T is known to have been investigating the possibility for the past year. With all this activity, it seems that getting good call quality at home will no longer need a landline phone in the near future.

Disability claim denials, is this the wrong time to be disabled in America?

14 million Social Security disability applications were denied in a single decade, between 2000 and 2010, while the percentage of denials increased from 34 percent to 65 percent. Is this the wrong time to be disabled in America?

Please note the following headlines:

Federal disabled traffic jam The Washington Times

Soldiers risk bankruptcy while waiting for benefit checks Associated Press

Disability claims can be difficult to collect Wall street journal

It’s time to prevent billions of dollars in disability benefits from being unnecessarily denied.

Does the safety net for the disabled have holes?? If more than 60 percent of Social Security disability claims are denied initially, then why did 63 percent approved at the hearing stage? What causes the return? Unfortunately, 39 percent of claimants give up before determining whether they will be successful in the appeal process.

In 1999, 1.2 million Social Security disability applications were filed (48 percent of 579,000 were rejected). In 2009, ten years later, 2.8 million Social Security disability applications were filed (and 65 percent or 1,830,530 were rejected). The number of disability claims more than doubled, while denials tripled. In one year, more than $ 23 TRILLION dollars of annualized benefits were lost. That’s 1.8 million Americans who not collect the benefits to which they thought they were entitled.

Based on the 2010 average payment to those who qualify, that represents more than $ 19.5 million in monthly benefits that will not be paid. Annualized, $ 23 + trillion dollars per year is an overwhelming amount of disappointment.

Many initial disability claims are denied for simple errors and omissions that have absolutely nothing to do with the claimant’s disability status. Think about what it’s like to wait 17 months to find out that you didn’t answer a question. Then you can wait another 17 months after you’ve added a simple answer. There has to be a better way. Those facing claim denials are filing an unprecedented number of appeals that further strain the already damaged system. With an average of almost 17 months waiting for a judge to hear your appeal, what is happening in the meantime?

There are currently three-quarters of a million Americans trapped in Social Security disability arrears. Not being able to pay his bills causes enormous mental anguish in the man of the house. The state of marital relations in these situations deteriorates rapidly. Soon our divorce courts will experience the same kind of backwardness that the Social Security Administration faces.

Is this the wrong time to be disabled in America?? Private insurers don’t pay tens of millions of dollars in disability benefits. More than 40 states jointly investigated how an insurer handles their disability claims. Another state established a system to scrutinize the handling of each Claim rejected. What led to the drastic change in the handling of disability claims? Or has something changed and there is more adverse publicity?

As reported in USA Today … 22,500 Veteran PTDS disability claim (is denied ace personality disorders. How is it possible that a personality disorder is diagnosed, assuming it existed before military service, when psychological evaluations are not performed prior to induction?

According to data obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, more than 25 percent of Iraqi and Afghan veterans seeking care at the VA have PTSD. And this statistic does not include mentally ill veterinarians who have not received treatment at the VA because of the stigma associated with PTSD. Meanwhile, families receive social assistance and food stamps. Mortgages are being foreclosed. Drugs and alcohol interrupt any hope of family harmony. Homelessness Happens! Suicides begin to claim lives that the battlefield did not take.

A very simple but insurmountable hurdle is the application process itself. The VA has a long history of bureaucracy. The disability claim form itself is a 23 page document. How many vets are used to 23 pages of paperwork? The word “bullying” comes to mind as one reason many veterans will never file a claim. A claim for the benefits for which they were eligible.

Each year, TRILLIONS of dollars in disability claims will continue to be denied from Insurers, Social Security and the Veterans Administration. It is imperative that claimants understand how to properly file a long-term disability claim, “getting it right” the first time and dramatically improving the likelihood of receiving benefits.

The US Census Bureau recently projected a 75 percent increase in the population 65 and older by 2030. That will bring the number of Americans 65 and older to 69 million, more than 20 percent. of the total population. The aging of the population brings with it an automatic growth of the “TSUNAMI” disability. Since the Americans with Disabilities Act requires disability insurers to continue disability coverage for those 65 and older, an older workforce guarantees more claims.

We have not seen any valid creditable source that has identified any reason for the increasing rate of claim denials or what we will call “deterioration” of disability claims. Therefore, I can offer what I believe is happening in the backroom of the insurance claims departments.

Americans currently face the highest level of unemployment we have experienced in the last three decades. The current state of the economy has impacted our American workforce in disastrous proportions. There is a natural escalation in the incidence of disability claims with rising unemployment.

Mortgages are foreclosed at an unprecedented rate. Several states have started denying previously valid claims as Medicaid budgets have become overwhelming. Is it any wonder that the cost of health care, and not being able to afford it, is the leading cause of foreclosures?

To continue, we now have causes of disability that did not exist two decades ago. Carpal tunnel and chronic fatigue syndrome are being diagnosed more than at any other time in our history. When we add fibromyalgia to the new list, we have an evolving problem that is creating a nightmare for disability insurers. These are known as “self-reported” disabilities because there are no specific medical tests that can diagnose these conditions. It is easy to understand how disability claims examiners can be wary of “self-reported” symptoms. This makes it an onerous process for those who are actually negatively effective by one of these conditions to collect the benefits to which they are entitled.

In short, we now face a dramatic increase in 20 percent of the population in an older age group. They are still working with an increasing incidence of disability. Unemployment further exacerbates the problem. And adding new causes of disability and our society in litigation results in more UNCOVERED PROMISES.

Indian Food 101

Indian food and Indian restaurants are common in many parts of the world, but in my pocket the world seems to be few and far between. I realized that many Americans may not be used to Indian food; what to order in an Indian restaurant or the correct way to eat Indian food. Since I grew up eating Indian food, it’s natural for me to break up my naan and soak up the delicious curry. This is why I wanted to put together a short article outlining some common Indian dishes and what you may want to order in an Indian restaurant. Hope this encourages you to try Indian food.

Most likely it starts with courtesy poppadoms. They are like very thin cookies, but much larger. There are usually 3 accompanying sauces or chutneys poppadoms, a lime green sauce made with spicy coriander, a very sweet dark brown sauce (save a little for later, I’ll tell you why in a moment), and a mango chutney that is very good but quite spicy.

Appetizers:

You most likely see Samosas on a snack menu in Indian restaurants. These are a safe option as they are full of flavor but not spicy. They are triangular cakes that are filled with potatoes, peas, and other vegetables. The sweet brown hot sauce I told you to keep goes great with these.

Main courses:

Tandoori: Tandoori is always a safe option. This is not a hot and spicy dish at all. It also doesn’t have thick sauce. It is simply cooked in a clay oven known as Tandoori, hence the name. Don’t be scared by the color. It will come out with a red color especially if you order the chicken. It seems a little weird but it tastes great.

Biryani: (Pronounced beer-e-ani) Think of Biryani as the Indian version of Chinese fried rice. It is rice with vegetables (usually with raisins) with the meat of your choice. Lamb Biryani is really good. It really goes well with any meat. I probably wouldn’t recommend getting Biryani with shrimp. Again, this is another safe option, as it will not be a spicy dish.

Curry: This is really a thick sauce filled with cumin, garlic, tamarind, and a ton of other flavorful spices made to order. Curry is by far the best known Indian dish. I like it with beef, lamb, chicken, or shrimp.

seasoning: It is a creamy tomato sauce that is very tasty. It’s usually not too spicy, but you should ask just to be safe. One of my favorites at the Indian restaurant is Chicken Tikka Masala. In fact, I read somewhere that Chicken Tikka Masala is the number one most ordered dish in England. Having a large Indian population, Indian restaurants seem to appear everywhere in England. In fact, Indian food is all I ever want to eat when I go to England.

Vindaloo: (Pronounced Vind-aloo) HOT HOT HOT !! This is one of the hottest dishes you can order. Again, it is made with various spices like curry, but it is very spicy. In fact, it’s so hot that I can’t eat and enjoy it. For my palate, the pepper dominates any other flavor and I cannot enjoy the dish. WARNING: this dish is not for a virgin Indian meal.

These dishes are typically accompanied by basmati (Indian white rice). But you’re missing out if you don’t order some delicious nann (pancakes) to eat with your curry. Part of the experience of eating Indian food is using your hands to soak up the sauce with the naan.

Although there are several types of naan, I recommend starting with something simple like plain nann or garlic. Usually you get 2 pieces, which is a lot of grace for 1 person. You may want to consider 2 orders for 2 and if there are leftovers left, they are great for breakfast in the morning.

Indian restaurants do not usually offer any side of vegetables with the main dishes. This is probably because many Indians are vegetarians, which is why vegetable starters are a main dish on their own. Indian curries tend to have very rich sauces and, along with rice and naan, they will fill you up quickly. But if you think it is necessary to order a vegetable, I recommend something with aloo (potato) or baigon (aubergine).

For drinks, Indian beer pairs well with Indian food. I usually enjoy a Taj Mahal with my food. If beer is not your thing, I recommend you try a Mango Lassi. It is a sweet and fruity drink that is like having a smoothie with dinner.

If you can still have dessert after your hearty meal, a good option is Kulfi. This is Indian ice cream, which generally comes in various flavors, with two common flavors being mango and pistachio.

Well, there you have it! This should give you enough information to give you the confidence to try Indian food.

Private jets are not a luxury for NASCAR teams

Business travel can be routine, but for NASCAR drivers and racing teams who are on the road for 36 races a year, travel is unavoidable.

If these teams had to rely on commercial airline schedules, travel would be a nightmare, if not a logistical impossibility. That’s why most top-tier drivers own private jets, and race teams operate fleets of small planes to transport pit crew members and team executives to the racetrack each week.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. owns a LearJet 60, which is the top of the LearJet line, and his largest aircraft. It is a business jet with capacity for 10 passengers.

Thanks to the jet, Earnhardt can leave his home in North Carolina and be at the Daytona or Texas racetrack a couple of hours later – about the time it would take to drive to a major airport and get past security.

NASCAR rookie and former Formula One driver Juan Pablo Montoya also owns a LearJet 60. 2006 champion Jimmie Johnson owns a Learjet 31A, and Jeff Gordon owns a British Aerospace Hawker 800.

Most drivers leave the flight to professional pilots, but Mark Martin is a licensed pilot who often flies his own Cessna Citation. Martin lives in a unique community near Daytona Beach called Spruce Creek. It is a fly in community with its own airport. Residents have airplane hangars in the yard where most of us have garages. Martin can literally park his jet in the garage.

Race crews operate larger aircraft to transport pit crews and team executives to the track. Roush Racing operates a fleet of aircraft, including a Boeing 737 and several smaller commercial jets. Dale Earnhardt ,, Inc. flies to his pit crew in an Embraer 120, a mid-size turboprop that seats 30 passengers.

While cars have vanity plates, NASCAR teams have vanity aircraft registration numbers. Dale Jr’s Learjet is N8JR and Jeff Gordon’s Hawker is N24JG. The Embraer company in Dale Earnhardt, Inc. is N500DE.

NASCAR has become so reliant on private jet travel that many runways are located right next to airports. Daytona International Speedway is located right next to the Daytona Beach International Airport, where private jets and commercial flights arrive daily.

While most runways are not that close to a major international airport, some runways have built their own airports. Right next to the Atlanta Motor Speedway is Tara Field, a small general aviation airstrip that sees little traffic until race week, when more than 600 planes descend on this tiny airfield.

Some tracks aren’t that convenient though, but when that happens, hope NASCAR drivers find a solution. When NASCAR descends on a track like Dover Delaware, some drivers like Dale Earnhardt avoid racing traffic by flying from the airport to the race track in a rented helicopter, landing directly in the frame.

Some people consider private air travel a luxury, but with today’s busy driver’s schedule, it’s a necessity. After a Sunday afternoon race, a driver can jump into his jet and be home on Sunday night. This means they can meet with team leaders and team owners on Monday morning to review the previous race and develop a strategy for the next one. During the week, drivers are often on the jet again, meeting with sponsors, filming TV commercials, making public appearances, and testing. Without a jet this schedule would be impossible. Most drivers agree that having a private jet gives them one or two days a week of productive time, or simply allows them an occasional day off.

You can view images of these aircraft on JetJit.com and get more detailed information on each aircraft.

Interview with a versatile man-Noel Bernaldo

Let’s meet a man of many talents, anyone could be envious of this who can be a rock star in the classroom during the day, and see him singing his message: on stage, at night, in the park, on weekends.

  1. Describe yourself without M (music) and T (teaching) in your answer.

Nice. Eh eh.

  1. How long have you been teaching? Composing a song?

He has been teaching for 17 years, composing songs for 25 years.

  1. You’re juggling your time between teaching and singing, right? How do you do such a thing?

Priority first and time management.

Four. I thought you were just transitioning from classroom to stage, but when I saw you on an FB post having a post with your COT watcher, I couldn’t imagine how you manage time, energy, and the like by wearing two hats, one after the others, be one on top of the other, or what. You say.

It is difficult to do two things at the same time. Actually, I am also a family man, so there are three of them. I just list the priorities that need to be done first. I mark it on my wall hehe, on my wall calendar should I say.

5. One of your songs that, at the time of this writing, is in the top 4 of an indie music chart is KAPE … where did you get the inspiration for that?

The idea for the song Kape was purely about my emotions. The words had really existed. It is a true story of my dad and me. Remember that when he was still alive, every morning we always shared a cup of coffee. We would talk about many things like your thoughts on life, to name one.

6. Besides teaching and singing, what other talents do you have under your belt?

I can play guitar a little piano and drums. In sports, I love to play basketball. I am also the author of my self-published book. “Meron Akong Kuwento from Victime Printing Press and Publishing House. The book contains 12 original children’s stories and 16 select articles. I love writing stories for children. Apart from that, I ventured as an illustrator, cartoonist and creator of comics.

7. Oh, you have self-published a book. Good to Know. Share with us the wisdom about the conception, writing, editing and publishing stages of your first book.

My book is 1% business 99% remembrance lang, that was really the main concept. I write because I just want to create my own legacy and show myself how valuable my life would be. Producing a book has been a great experience. But I guess I need some people who can properly support me and teach me about the nitty-gritty of book publishing etc.

8. Do you sing on the way to school or do you have a plan before embarking on a stage? You say.

Every day is a very busy hour for me because I am with my two daughters at school. Before I go to school, I make sure I am prepared with my lessons. Without thinking about my singing career when I’m in school. Eh eh.

9. An artist is a rare breed of genius, so if you were going to choose an art world, what would it be and why?

If I can choose an art world, I would like to be with people who really appreciate art.

10. Describe your passion in a couple of letters that you originally wrote or are about to write. “Bumangon ka anak, wag pilitin ang sarili; ang world’y aayon din sayo” -Kape

The first time I heard “Kape” I was having coffee. Now I know the story behind those lyrics. So moving and dramatic. Thanks, Noel. God bless you. Wishing you more success, as you are a multi-talented musician, teacher and author, a true artist. Soon the world will be at your fingertips!

Noel Bernaldo is from the city of San José del Monte, Bulacan, Philippines. You can watch his scheduled concerts on his FB Noel Bernaldo account / FB Noel Bernaldo Music page, or you can stream a couple of his “Kape” or “Ang Pinoy” songs on Spotify and they are available on other digital media. You can also subscribe to his videos on the YouTube channel Noel Bernaldo. You can see it on these dates: at Conspiracy Garden Cafe QC on September 11 DWZE and September 20 iFM 93.9

How Durable Are Laminate Cabinet Doors?

Although laminate closet doors are almost the cheapest option for your closets, they are far from the lowest quality. When I speak from a durability standpoint, I think high pressure plastic laminate doors are the most durable of all.

I have been in the kitchen furniture manufacturing business for many years now and have owned several companies related to the industry. I have seen many old formica cabinets that were in excellent condition. I have also seen some that were not in such good condition. As with anything else, when something is properly maintained, it is possible for something to “last a lifetime.”

Laminate doors will last thirty to fifty years. The only thing that is required of the owners is that they clean them regularly. Formica doors are easily cleaned with Windex, Formula 409 or simply with a damp cloth.

If you are considering having Formica in your kitchen or bathroom, I suggest you select white or off-white for the color. Over the years, these two colors have long withstood the ever-changing trends in kitchen cabinets. Many different shades and laminate patterns are discontinued each year, but white remains on all vendors’ color chip chains.

Now it is important that you DO NOT confuse Formica laminate doors with Thermofoil doors. Thermofoil raised panel doors will NOT last as long as hard shell high pressure laminated plastic doors.

The two things that have a negative effect on Formica plastic laminate doors are how they are manufactured and cared for. If the manufacturer did not use enough glue on the doors, you will experience problems. In my expert opinion, this only happens once in ten thousand kitchens.

It is important to understand the difference between a melamine door and a plastic laminate door. The melamine is actually applied to the center board by the people who make it. Formica laminate is applied by the people who build your kitchen. Melamine is NOT as durable as laminate; it is thinner and is not available in as many colors as Formica.

Here are some cabinet door styles listed from cheapest to most expensive:

  • Melanin
  • Plastic laminated doors
  • Thermofoil
  • Real wood

Here is a list of closet door styles, from lowest to highest quality.:

  • Thermofoil
  • Melamine
  • Real wood
  • Formica

The way laminate doors are made is that the plastic sheet is purchased separately from the dash. The board is cut to the correct size for the cabinet doors and then the plastic is cut some more. The laminated edges of the door are glued first. The front and rear of the doors are then covered with Formica. Contact glue is used as an adhesive and routers are what trim the laminate flush with the edges of the door. Cabinetmakers use a file to smooth sharp edges. Any access contact adhesives are cleaned with lacquer thinner.

Kitchen cabinet doors are laminated with “vertical” or VT grade plastic. This is the thinner of the two options. Countertops are made from the thickest plastic called “standard” thickness. The VT is generally thirty seconds thick of an inch and the standard is one sixteenth of an inch.

If you are considering buying Formica plastic laminate doors for your kitchen or bathroom, ask your cabinetmaker if they can be three-quarters of an inch thick. Five-eighths thick laminate doors are durable and hold up well, but the thicker option will last longer in the long run.

Will the 2010 Jeep Wrangler be able to offer an oath to loyal Jeep customers?

A redesigned soft top that is easy to open and close for the 2010 Jeep Wrangler is one of the hallmarks of the new Wrangler. The 2010 Wrangler comes in unlimited 4-door and two-door versions, offered for off-road fun. Rubicon, Sahara and sport are the three trim levels available in the new Wrangler line.

The previous X trim level is replaced by the Sport trim. The removable hardtop and folding softtop are available on all Wranglers models. All next-generation Wrangler models are equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine. The two-door versions produce 202 horsepower, while the unlimited models produce 205 horsepower. This time two different transmissions are offered: 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic. The two-door model is available with 4-wheel drive train only, while both rear-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive are available on 2010 Wrangler Unlimited models.

The maximum towing capacity for the 2-door Wranglers is 2,000 pounds, and goes up to 3,500 pounds on the Wrangler Unlimited trims. Anti-skid system, front side airbags, traction control and anti-braking system are the standard features available on the 2010 Wrangler.

Specific tires, locking differential, and electronically disconnected front stabilizer bar are optional features on the base trim, and are available by default only on the top end trims. The mountain and islander packages have their share of goodness and come in unique body colors and interior finishes.

The first Wrangler model was launched in 1987 and is currently in its third generation. However, the 2010 Jeep Wrangler is not doing very well in the market; however, it is currently the centerpiece of the Jeep brand.

Why use Google Analytics?

I am amazed at how many people will say that your website is not working for them; however, when asked if they measure traffic or use a tool like Google Analytics, the answer is usually ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I think so. have login’.

Now the fact is that many companies’ websites don’t work for them and they don’t generate enough or the right kind of traffic. However, as with any form of marketing, measurement is absolutely critical, so that you can see what works and what doesn’t and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Unfortunately, some people don’t measure their web traffic at all. This may be because they don’t know that tools like Google Analytics are really FREE and can be installed relatively easily with a basic understanding of HTML code. If you are lucky enough to have a good content management system, this is made even easier without having to understand website coding. Of course, most good web development companies should do this for you as part of the website launch process.

I think it’s fair to say that some folks who have started researching Google Analytics have often only scratched the surface of how powerful this FREE tool really is.

The most common use is probably to check how much traffic a website receives, along with the source of the traffic and what keyword someone has typed in, if it came through a search engine.

However, Google Analytics can provide much more relevant and useful information, for example, the ‘bounce rate’ can be a very important piece of information, this means the percentage of visits to a single page in which the visitor left your site from the landing page without continuing to view other pages on the site. So you may have a lot of traffic, but if your bounce rate is high, this would suggest that the page is not relevant to visitors and that your site is probably not working for you. Rather, this may be the same page that your specific campaign is targeting. In this case, the ‘bounce rate’ shouldn’t be daunting.

You can also see the average time people spend on your website, again if this figure is low and you are not getting inquiries, like the ‘bounce rate’ this could suggest that your website visitors are not perceiving your site as relevant. It could also be an indication that the navigation to other relevant pages, for example a ‘contact us’ function, is not clear.

Top exit pages can be another great piece of information, if visitors are browsing multiple pages on your site, but you are missing them without receiving inquiries, you may need to review your top exit pages and try to modify / improve them.

Google Analytics is an amazing, underused tool with features that could fill a manual. The purpose of this article is simply to highlight its availability so that your business can begin to benefit from its application.
